I only go to Home Depot for the plants. The plants at Home Depot are far better then lowes. What I love about the plants here is they have more mature plants. So when you see the dahlias here they are massive. which you don't see a lot. they have lots to pick from. But the bad part of shopping for plants at Home Depot or lowes they never water their plants correctly so the plants always have black scorch marks and the leaves are browning and dry while being green as well. So the best time to buy is when the plants are fresh off the truck and haven't got watered yet haha. But if you want massive dahlias for a good price this is the place. read more

They never give you the warranty for any tools. I've tried multiple time with different tools which all have a warranty. Not once has Home Depot replaced my tools. If you're hard on your tools look anywhere else for them because Home Depot will not work with you. read more

What does one say about Home Depot? Big box. Huge. Has everything. There can be people around who can give you solid advise. In other words, almost everything I hate, except for help, when it's good. That said they have a better selection of salt with better handles than the other big box. That sounds silly, but what good is a big box store that doesn't have a ton of choices. read more

I was able to locate one hard to find item and not another item. Home Depot is still my go to, first place merchant of the four that I generally use. There is always a variety of choices for me to consider and at reasonable prices. The staff is always helpful and I love their return policies and practices. read more

My husband & I were looking at power tools for a project of ours. After finding what we wanted, it took a while to even get an employee to help us unlock the secured tools. Once we got it out, the deal the store was promoting allowed for a free battery pack along with the tools. After much searching, the store locater said there was 12 more left of the item we were looking for. We were unable to find it, and one of the employees got others to help us look for it. I kid you not, after about 10 minutes they all gave up, and just walked away. We tried giving the employees the benefit of the doubt but, when we asked another employee to help us find a different solution (comparable item/deals, etc.) the only thing the employee told us to do was buy the tools and deal with it. Because of the POOR customer service, we took our business elsewhere. read more

The staff is wonderful, they also have most product available all the time. One star is for their new return policies. I used to go to Home Depot to get our materials/product and if you had any leftover returning it was haggle free. It seems like now you have to jump through hoops to be able to return some thing which was purchased there. Boo on that. I just went to Lowe's and to return some material which I bought over 90 days and after shuffling through a couple credit cards we just decided to do a store credit. Easy Peezy! A few weeks ago I purchased some bricks from the garden shop. I am 73 years old. I picked every brick off the shelf (no one offered assistance of any kind). I went to check out in the garden shop - the booth was closed. I asked a girl who was watering plants if I could check out there. Sure she said. And then she continued watering the plants and ignored me. I went to the other end of the store and checked out. The kids there (on their phones) helped me check out. Then got back on their phones, I took the bricks out and put them in my car myself. Today I ordered bricks to be picked up curbside. I went to pick up the bricks. 6 people were there to load them in my car. I believe it might have been the manager who brought them out on a forklift in a wrapped pallet. I brought my jeep. The manager had the pallet on a fork lift and couldn't put it in the jeep. I didn't ask for a wrapped pallet. I was told to rent a truck so they could put them in the truck with the fork lift. The truck wouldn't fit where I needed to park it to unload. My husband refused to rent the truck. So we went out to where the palleted bricks had been left -- and no one came to help us. My husband had a stroke 6 weeks ago. I am 73. NO ONE CAME TO HELP - even though the rental guy told "people" we were going to load them into my jeep. We unloaded every block into my jeep. Again, no one ever came. I guess they thought if we weren't renting the truck, we didn't need their help. WRONG. But we did it by ourselves anyway. [Also, the bag of leveling sand they gave me had a big hole in it.] We drove out where we could see the checkout area. There were two kids, standing at the registers, looking at their phones. We were disgusted and frustrated and ... well, downright angry. read more

The Lindon location always impresses me. The staff always greet me when I enter and I am asked several times throughout my shopping if I am finding everything okay. Seasonal items are plentiful and fun and removed right after the season, stocked with the next selection promptly. Store restrooms have usually been clean, on occasion it's been out of stock or a little messy, but not always. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when I have had questions or needed pricing. I find a lot of the times the items I am looking for are lacking prices so I'm left searching online or finding help. Plenty of parking and well lit parking lot. I live this location! read more

Ordered new appliances in person in the store and paid extra to have my old appliances removed and new ones installed. When the delivery guy arrived he pulled out my old appliances, installed my fridge and stove, told me the microwave had broken on the way over, and then said his paperwork said not to install the dishwasher because we hadn't paid for that service. When he removed the old dishwasher it started leaking water all over flooding my kitchen and living room. He left my new dishwasher on my front lawn and water all over my house along with live wires from the dishwasher. I called customer service and they were no help. My wife just got out of the hospital from having a c-section and along with a newborn we have two other young kids. We are now without appliances since we can't flip the breaker due to the live wires they left and we have food rotting on the kitchen table. I am disgusted by the lack of customer service after paying $4,000+ dollars for a product and services and having worked many years in customer service myself. read more

I am having to change my rating regarding our kitchen remodel. We began our kitchen remodel with Karen at Home Depot in June, 2019 we are now almost to Thanksgiving and our kitchen is far from being completed. Home Depot has refused to take responsibility for losing our plans after Karen quit and have done next to nothing (except to make excuses) to fix all of the problems from all of their vendors. The store manager and District manager have lots of words of support, but pitiful follow through. read more

Don't try to call and get information. The customer service people have no time for you. They cut you off to transfer you. It's hard to hear them. One guy admitted that they don't know all the extensions. I got disconnected several times. The departments don't ever answer the phones either and it just rings back to customer service. It's literally faster to drive there and check yourself. read more

Home Depot is one of my favorite stores, but I was VERY disappointed in the way the Lindon store is handling the Coronavirus issue. I stopped to pick up some things for my yard and discovered they were limiting entry into the store - and I'm ok with that. However, they created a waiting line outside with NO REGARD for social distancing. People were standing in line, pressing to be near the front. So the very issue Home Depot wanted to avoid inside was created outside. If Home Depot is going to control the crowd, it should control the crowd. Bottom line is I went elsewhere for my purchases - somewhere safer. read more

I received an email saying my online order was ready for pickup using the curbside service. I pull into the assigned parking spaces and called their number for to have my shelving unit delivered to my vehicle. They would not even answer the phone, it rang for over 15 minutes. The lindon store has lousy service. Frustrated I cancelled my order and they sent me another email saying my order was picked up a few hours later. I had to call them back to straighten out this issue. I will not be shopping there ever again. Also the line outside due to their policy of only letting in a few customers at a time just sucks. They are so screwed up and it makes any shopping experience there very frustrating. read more

Worst customer service. Came to this store because another store told me they had 7 cases of a tile I was looking for in stock. When I got here no one could find the tile and one man asked me what it was for and then told me I couldn't use the tile I wanted for a floor. When I told him I'd already seen it done and it turned out great he said, "I'm walking away from this one!" and stopped helping us. read more

I went to this location this morning to get several items for my yard. There was a very long line but they had a system where the line kept moving fairly quickly. Anyway, I needed some bricks, a few bags of bark and several semi-big heavy trees. Holly was God sent and I can't thank her enough for her help today. She asked what I needed and everything was taken care of quickly. She called others to help load everything to the truck and everyone was so incredibly nice & helpful. Awful customer service! I returned an item with my receipt and they would not give me cash back. They would only give me store credit. I don't need anything so I gave the gift card they gave me to my uncle. My uncle tried to use it but they needed my I.D. I went in and tried to buy some gift cards so I could at least get something out of this but they told me you can't use a gift card to buy gift cards. I talked to management and they were useless and apologized but said there is nothing they can do. Made it feel like they were preventing fraud and doing me a favor. Feels a lot more like they are committing fraud with their horrible return policy. If you like terrible return policies with awful customer service Home Depot is the place for you. If you want a better experience I would try Lowe's. read more

No matter how many signs they put up, I still have a hard time finding anything specific in a Home Depot. Still, the people working there helped direct me (it also helped they were cute girls! Whoo!). I was able to find what I needed, and the best thing about this place is they gave me no hassle whatsoever when I had to return something I opened and tried to use. No problem at all. Love this Home Depot location!!! Everyone is helpful and nice. On any project I've needed help with, someone has been able to help me find the right stuff and has given me advice on things I wasn't sure of. Everyone is kind, and professional. But the biggest shout out goes to the truly AMAZING, REMARKABLE, SWEET, FANTASTIC at what she does LIZZY!!!!!!! She works at the design center and she's by far THE most knowledgeable person you could ever meet at a place like that. Not only she's EXELENT at what she does, but by working with her you can totally feel that she just LOVES what she does She cares about the customers project like it's her own and she always gives 100%. Her personality is so happy, fun and positive. She knows A LOT about design and is able to draw the whole kitchen layout or whatever other stuff you need done there and give you a full picture of how everything will look and turn out at the end. For someone who has a hard time visualizing things, that's HUGE!!! I can't say enough GREAT things about her. Go see her there and you'll know what I mean. She's truly amazing!!!!
