I needed to pick up 12 concrete stones at the Home Depot on I45 near The Woodlands (19103 I-45 North). The stones were too heavy for me to lift because of my bad back. Konnor, the manager, picked up each 75-lb stone and placed them on a dolly for me. The nicest man, Moe, helped me out at this Home Depot! As I'm driving to and walking into a home improvement store, I always send prayers up to the highest heavens that a helpful sales associate will be somewhere in the building and not already assisting someone else. Getting an unknowledgeable college or high school kid is always so frustrating. I purposely go out of my way to find the older retiree looking guy or gal bc they typically know where stuff is and what you probably need when you have no clue. That night, I needed both a kitchen faucet and a toilet fill-valve. Moe was super patient, helpful, and kind to me. Plus his cool accent was a nice added bonus. He was funny and let me know that they also have a Larry that worked the day shift. He wanted me to keep an eye out for a Curly so they could finally have their full 3 Stooges on staff. Love coming here. Always find something we need or came for. This time it was for a fungicide for a white powder mold on a crape myrtle tree. We usually get Neem Oil, but tried a Bee friendly organic concentrate which kills all things living or hanging which makes me wonder how it can be BEE friendly, but it didnt kill the tree as I looked this morning so it appears to be a good product. We picked up.a few deer resistant plants with color, Perinnials and a few, very few annuals for reasonable prices. It's just so hot out there in the garden center. Ladies...wake up and go to Home Depot on a Saturday and you will see that the men of the world gather here. And I think I get it. Home Depot...or at least ordering Home Depot items online...can be quite addictive as ordering on Amazon or going shoe shopping. So I needed a wooden pallet to prop the mini fridge in me bedroom. Me lazy and don't like to get up, so me buys a mini fridge for me bedroom. But here's the problem: my carpet was causing friction with opening and closing the door. I tried to call around to see if anyone had wooden foundations/pallets to prop things, but alas no one did. And IF they happened to have anything, it was the huge 4 feet by 6 feet chunks of monstrosities (or larger) when I only needed something small...so fuck it, I went online. Immediately saw that Home Depot had a 24x24x5 thing of beauty (roughly 2ft X 2ft)...made of reclaimed wood. Ordered it and had it shipped to the store. When the delivery arrived to the store (about a week...I had to wait a little), I received a text. Came in to the service desk, the lady was helpful, my order was already at the front and ready to go. They helped me get it to my car. Got home, unwrapped the mudda-sucka, put it under my fridge and ¡¡¡VOILA!!! Some things were just meant to be...like my fridge and this pallet. Thank you, Home Depot. I've had it with this Home Depot. Rarely can I go there even for tools anymore without having to order it online and wait. If you can find something, you don't have any choices of how you'd like it to be-it's all white or "special order" which adds to the cost and isn't nearly built the way it once was. Why have a store? I went into return two items and a supervisor name. Katherine assisted me after waiting 30 minutes for the return. The only register that was open was busy on their cell phone. Until finally after she got done, the girl, Catherine decided to open a second register after people had waited for good few solid minutes. She was not only disrespectful she rude and a liar. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused to call anyone, then she completely ignored me and said I'm going to help another customer and moved another register, left me standing there. After that I ran into Ruby, who is super sweet, helpful and considerate and not even a supervisor nor manager. If someone should be a supervisor in that place is definitely should not be a Catherine, unless that store wants horrible customer service. Ruby was hands-down, a gem. read more

Terrible customer service waited 30 minutes with two other customers and multiple requests from all of us for help.

I purchased a dishwasher at HD which included installation and disposal of the old dishwater. On the delivery/installation date, the installer said that he couldn't install the product without a plumbing repair. Upon completion of the installation (two days later), the installer said that because there was insufficient room on his truck to accept the old dishwater, his company would pick it up on the next day. No one came on the next day. When I contacted HD to find out when the disposal would be completed, I was told that the old dishwater would be picked-up in 2 more days because of HD's failure to complete the required documentation. Of course, this entire transaction was totally unacceptable. I will never use HD again for purchase of an appliance. This is a good example of why consumers do not trust big box retailer services read more

So I purchased my house about a year and a half ago and I have yet to decorate anything!!! From the time I entered this Home Depot location I was being greeted left and right by a whole swarm of friendly employees!! It was fantastic!!! I told the ladies that were in the front, Alex & Mo, that I was looking for pulls for my cabinet doors. They pointed me in the right direction. I immediatly saw what I wanted. I was so excited!! Not only were the employees super friendly and helpful, but the other shoppers were just as eager to help with any questions I had. There was so much stuff to look at and by the time I got down to the end of isle 2 IT WAS ON!!!!! Did you know that you can take the little cardboard papers with the paint colors on them home for FREE!!!!!?????? Again, this is all new to me people!!! Don't judge me!!! After stocking up on about ten brochures, I went over to get advice from the paint man!!! He let me in on what the best day and time to come check out Oops paint is!!! PERFECT! after all, I prefer to get one of my kido's rooms painted for $7-$14 than $25-$50 if possible. I definitely give this Home Depot 5 stars!!!! Super clean well organized store, awesome employees, they have everything you can think of, and their prices are great!!! In my quest for a new kitchen faucet, hubby and I came into The Home Depot hoping they would have what I needed. Needed a faucet and I needed it quick! Broke my current one and Lowe's didn't have what I wanted. The Home Depot had quite a variety of faucets and they were in a variety of price ranges. I knew I needed a one- or three-hole faucet and I wanted one with a pull-out spray handle. Home Depot had quite a few to choose from, and the prices were very reasonable. I goofed around with a few of them (swiveling them, pulling out the handles, looking to see how much plastic they were made of, that kind of stuff) and picked one out that I was happy with. The selection here was quite good. That would have earned The Home Depot 4 stars, but . . . We were mulling around in that aisle for quite a bit of time. Other people were too -- yanking on handles, pulling out boxes, reading things, asking questions. No one, and I mean NO sales associate, came to help any of us. In fact, hubby and I ended up talking and helping a lady who was desperate to get a faucet that day, as her kitchen was being remodeled and the crew had showed up early (and she didn't have a faucet!). So, Home Depot: for selection of equipment you get 4 stars, then subtract one for lack of customer service. Some of these faucets are expensive (yeah, real expensive!), so I would think you'd have someone lurking in that area to assist customers. read more

Do not use this location for flooring/installation, the whole process has been a mess. It's been pulling teeth just to get a hold of someone in the department, scheduling a measurement day, and having the product installed. Last week I called for several hours trying to get a hold of someone in the department. When I finally made contact and completed all information for the carpet measurement the woman handling the order had to call me back several times because she was having non stop issues with her program and payment processing. After the 3rd call she assures me everything has gone through and I am scheduled to have a measurement done today, 5/6/2019. I called for an update and learned the order did not process, no one is coming to do a measurement, I've wasted my day. Buying product is one thing, do not bother setting up installation with them. Save yourself a headache, don't waste your time! read more

One of the worst customer service stores I've ever been to. I went in to get a patio set, their website said they had it in stock but when I got there I didn't see it and none of the workers knew why. That's not the reason for the bad review but it was frustrating. For the first few minutes I didn't have anyone help me. An employee tried and then she called over someone by the name of Glenn. She called Glenn saying she needed help figuring out how to hunt the bistro set down and asked him to come to the customer service desk. He said okay. I waited a good 10 to 15 minutes, got tired of waiting and decided walk around to see if I could find him myself. I found him within a minute stalking shelves like he could care less I was waiting on him. After that, other employees kept passing me around and eventually lead me to Amanda. Who by the way was there since I first arrived in the store and knew my situation. Amanda was very helpful but even with that being said she kept walking off helping other people before my problem was solved. She found the bistro set at another Home Depot since no one ever found it in the store I was at and arranged for me to buy it with them and pick it up there. I felt forced to buy it with Amanda though because she and the other employees repeatedly said they get a bonus based on who's store gets the most sales. When it came to their bonuses every employee was focused. All they care about is money and not their customers. I felt if I didn't buy with Amanda's store, someone was going to try and screw me out of greed so I got it over with. To wrap this up, none of the employees talked professionally. All the did was smack talk each other and want to joke around. My whole experience took about an hour. Oh yeah, Glenn still never showed up 30 to 40 minutes after he was called and after I found him. I doubt this review will do much but if you go to this location, know what you're going on for, get in and get out. Don't rely on the employees for help. I don't get why people apply for jobs then don't want to do them out of laziness. I've seen attitudes like this before with employees from other companies but that's another review for another time. read more

Ordered a new dish washer. Over two months later they have not delivered a dishwasher, and they have not refunded my money. Twice that attempted to deliver a severely dented dishwasher. I requested they cancel the order after the second attempt, over two weeks ago and every time I call they claim the last person did something wrong when canceling the order and my refund will show up in 3-5 business days. It has still not happened. No one cares when I call. I would not recommend doing business with them. read more

I would only give 5 stars to the flooring dept employees. That department goes over and beyond to help answer any questions! I went to the paint dept and was given AWFUL customer service and I was scared to go back the next day until I met Darrell and he was so helpful and nice! I learned he's the new manager over that dept and I hope he gets his staff in some type of customer service training! The staff in the flooring dept went out of their way to help me with my wood flooring, and find other items I needed in their store. The boys Jovan and Tyler helped me get my stuff loaded and they both had excellent customer service skills. Although I like buying Behr paint I had almost sworn off buying paint from Home Depot due to the employees. However, the two employees, CJ and Dantes that were working behind the counter at this store were exceptional! CJ was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to answer all of my paint related questions. Dantes was new, but friendly and eager to help in any way he could. The cashier was also friendly which was so appreciated.
