They turned completely dead in the next day. They don't do return policy or at least exchange it

Landscaping new beds in a regular size yard is difficult, but when you have a bit of property, and deer, it is even more so. Came in here and bought a Sweet Olive Tree, Mexican Honeysuckle, Abelia, 3 nice sized Mexican Heathers, 6 Lantana, 2 Altheas and paid $54. Not at all bad and as the last purchased Althea is thriving, I hope these will as well... Cons: Garden helpers don't always speak English so out comes Google Translate..

    Dead tree.

I purchased a Xmas tree from here. They suggested their bowl attached to stand attached to tree. I got it got home and it was leaking all over. Took back and asked to get a credit on it for another stand. They refused and put another of the same on the tree. Since they put so many staples / nails in tree it pretty much died in the first week, don't even think the bowl allowed tree to get water. They have a no refunds or exchange policy for a reason, they sell bad stuff and don't stand behind it. Will never shop there again. If could put negative stars I would.

A Calathea Lubbersiana I picked up here, needs some TLC as you can see. Nothing that can't be rehabbed.

They do have a large variety of outdoor plants and lots of indoor plants, and a never ending supply of Boston ferns. Staff I did speak with did speak English, despite what the other reviews said. We weren't offered help or anything but we also didn't need any. It was relatively stroller friendly. Pricing is spot on with other nurseries. The indoor plants they have were kind of in bad shape but the outdoor plants/trees looked excellent. I do think the other reviews were harsh and it lived up to my expectations. :) thanks!

Great selection - not sure how they will last as I just left there and haven't planted yet. However, I have a poor taste about the ethics of this place since I was charged 12.50 for a "taxable item". I asked the gentleman checking me out about my total and he said it was tax... so basically I was charged 12.50 for tax and then paid tax on that. Edit: 2 weeks in and all but 1 plant is dead. When I looked up the particular plant online to determine the cause, turns out the "full sun" labeled plants are actually plants that should be planted in the shade. The 1 thriving is the one I was fearful would die since it is in the shade...I figured going to a place that specializes in plants would help take the guess work out of which plants I need for particular areas... not this place.

4 for $12. Buy one more and you pay full price again until you buy 8. It's not like they come in 4 packs. Silly..

Found plants I was interested in, but none had prices. Asked two of the employees at the register, but they didn't seem to speak English.

Stay away from this place. You're on your own. No one there knows what they're doing. Horrible service, expensive, limited selection.

Depending on your…read moreproject you can shop at the big box stores which provide for your average needs, but if you are doing any kind of private landscaping, gardening or want the exacting standards of quality materials with low environmental impact then local businesses like Nature's Way Resources is the way to go. For this project, I aerated and dethatched part of my front yard and it was in need of a good base layer for the soil to recover; in addition to, landscaping a front patio area. I ordered 1 1/2 Cubic Yard Leaf Mold Compost, 1/2 Yard of Landscaper mix, a few Black-eyed Susan, a Mexican Sage bush and some other pollinators. Due to the time saved from gathering all my materials from this one location saved me $$$ and I was able to complete the project in a weekend. If your need is not as expansive they offer bagged soil for smaller needs, but to get the best value I would partner with a fellow DIYers with pickup trucks and order loose materials or have it delivered on site. Nature's Way Resources also have a big selection of mulch, compost, fertilizers and offer a Green Waste Recycling program. If you read this post to the end, I will let you in on a little secret.....they have a rock garden in the rear where contractors and DIYers dump material not needed and you will find some gems for FREE. All you need to do is sign a liability waiver at the front desk and recommend you have some sturdy steel toe boots, gloves, and watch out for critters.

This is one of the best, if not the best, native nurseries in greater Houston in my opinion…read more Knowledgeable staff and high-quality offerings for your yard. With extreme weather events more and common, it's a great idea to introduce some native plantings to your yard.
