We 3 had 5 gal Italian Cypress just as the sign describes.

We were planning on spending a few hundred dollars on a 4 trees this evening at the north woodlands location near HWY 1488. We loaded our cart with largest Leyland Cypress and 3 smallest Italian cypress the only sign in front of them read 19.99. We get to the counter and the cashier said they were 29.99. We told her about the sign and she said "no 29.99". My husband went to go take a picture of the metal sign in front of the plants and found someone to assist him. The guy said, "That sign is wrong. They are supposed to be 29.99. I'm the manager, they are 29.99." No apologies for the inconvenience, mistake, etc... If the manager was even remotely remorseful about the incident or explained about the price change, we would not have left empty handed. His arrogance is mainly why we decided to leave. Lesson learned, smaller nurseries are the way to go.

A friend told us he got a great deal on some trees at this place so off we went. Since it's located off the access road adjacent to the I-45 it wasn't easy to get here due to road closures and traffic. Most of the trees that we wanted to look at were already sold. But the the downer for us was that they don't deliver or plant the trees for you. Huh??? Since I'm not sporting a giant TX Pick-Up this wasn't the place for me. I'll have to look elsewhere (someone who can provide "Princess Planting Services") They had lots of pretty flowers and friendly helpers but didn't buy anything on this trip.

    Love vincas...

This is a one stop shop garden center to find shrubs, trees, ground covers, flowers, gardening pots ++ Center is always packed with wide variety of healthy looking products but the Service is a tad hit and miss. Best shopping window is late fall when everything is 70% off ...you can't go wrong!! Today.. On a fantastic spring day - Scored few flats of bedding flowers to plant.... Yyeeaaahhh!!

Great selections and the prices are superb! It's definitely so much cheaper here than Home Depot. Love it here.

Great selection of plants. Houseplants and herbs not as much, but for outdoor planting there is quite a bit. Plenty to liven up a yard.

Depending on your…read moreproject you can shop at the big box stores which provide for your average needs, but if you are doing any kind of private landscaping, gardening or want the exacting standards of quality materials with low environmental impact then local businesses like Nature's Way Resources is the way to go. For this project, I aerated and dethatched part of my front yard and it was in need of a good base layer for the soil to recover; in addition to, landscaping a front patio area. I ordered 1 1/2 Cubic Yard Leaf Mold Compost, 1/2 Yard of Landscaper mix, a few Black-eyed Susan, a Mexican Sage bush and some other pollinators. Due to the time saved from gathering all my materials from this one location saved me $$$ and I was able to complete the project in a weekend. If your need is not as expansive they offer bagged soil for smaller needs, but to get the best value I would partner with a fellow DIYers with pickup trucks and order loose materials or have it delivered on site. Nature's Way Resources also have a big selection of mulch, compost, fertilizers and offer a Green Waste Recycling program. If you read this post to the end, I will let you in on a little secret.....they have a rock garden in the rear where contractors and DIYers dump material not needed and you will find some gems for FREE. All you need to do is sign a liability waiver at the front desk and recommend you have some sturdy steel toe boots, gloves, and watch out for critters.

So let me start out by saying that the purchase I originally made was not done at this Lowe's. I…read morepurchased a washer from the Lowe's in Tomball. They delivered it and we realized the spin cycle didn't work, we tried everything and then went to the Lowe's in Tomball to exchange it. We were told the same washer was in stock and we would receive a replacement next day. We get a call later that night saying they are 650 back ordered from the factory. (How that mistake could have been made, is beyond me) We called and called trying to scramble and figure out what we could do to get it replaced without buying a brand new washer outright and waiting 10 days for a refund. Mind you, my girlfriend is an RN, working on a Covid floor at the moment, so as you can imagine, a washer is of very very high importance to us. No call back from Lowe's in Tomball. Fast forward- I called Lowe's in College park, Johnny in appliances took the phone, he heard me out and understood why I was desperate. He worked for days to find me a washer that was in stock, calling me, sending me item numbers until I was satisfied. Every bump in the road, whether it I was out of our price range or it was out of stock, he continued to plug in just to help me ON A WASHER HE DIDN'T EVEN SELL ME. He told me that he found one that was about 100 bucks more than I paid for mine but his store manager, Jeremiah approved it and we would send it out NEXT DAY. His customer service blew me away and I could tell he honestly cared about the fact that we were essential workers who needed a washer ASAP. Lowe's is lucky to have Johnny and Jeremiah, they helped me more than anyone can understand. The new washer came in and it's beautiful and works amazing. Go see them. They will forever have my business. And still.. no call back from Lowe's Tomball.

I placed an order today (more than $1000) from my phone, trying to meet a deadline so I could…read morereceive the order the same day. I didn't wait for a receipt because I have never had a problem. Later, when I went to see when my order was coming, my things were still in the cart. I went to the laptop and the same issue occurred, AND it said I could get it tomorrow. That didn't work. My husband went in person to order, and now it won't come for two more days. Please understand, I am less unhappy about being inconvenienced, but more concerned about the response from the employee and manager, who could not suggest how to help me aside from coming in and having to wait even more. Neither the employee or the manager we spoke to could offer us a solution, such as contacting a tech department. I would have been happy if they acted just a bit concerned and told me they would have the issue investigated. Now, I will do everything I can to avoid shopping at Lowe's. The corporate website spends more time talking about DEI and community involvement, and not one comment visible about the customer, who pays the bills!
