Now let's talk Tractor Supply Company location in Tomball. The very first thing, when you walk in the door, is being greeted like it's a Buc-ees. It doesn't stop there. Experience a store where the employees actually know where and what stuff is. Simply amazing. But the best part about this store is that it is the best customer service experience I have had in a very long time. From Sarah at the front register, who was the most pleasant person I have dealt with, to Scott (the manager) that help with an error and took great care of us, to Jessie, who went the extra mile to locate what they thought was not in stock. If this place has the stuff you're looking for, I would suggest to not even consider going anywhere else. Even if it saves you money, the quality of customer service is well worth forgoing that little bit of savings to support a customer service oriented business. They have definitely earned my customer loyalty.

We started purchasing our feed and hay from Steinhauser's because after being a loyal customer to…read moreD&D feed store on 2920 for several years my husband was treated very rudely by one of the co-owners. Obviously she had not been trained on what good customer service is. We called Steinhauser's to order a round bail for our horses and they told my husband that they did not have any good round bails (they had cockle burrs) they would not sell the hay to us which is great, we opted for square bails - I do not buy poor quality hay for my senior horses. I greatly appreciated their honesty - they could have sold us the round bail and would have lost a customer in the process but they were honest and upfront about the quality. Steinhauser is great, they deliver and unload for a very nominal fee. They are always on time and always deliver what we order. Juana and Tommy R.

When I needed various items of outdoor power equipment to manage a 10-acre property, I looked…read morearound for trustworthy dealers. I quickly found that almost all of the dealers in the Houston area had terrible reviews on Yelp and elsewhere. Pentex Equipment was the only exception. In fact, it was the only one that, based on the reviews, wouldn't be terrifying to enter unless you really knew what you're doing (I didn't at the time...). Of course reviews, valuable as they are, are not infallible, so I was still cautious walking into Pentex for the first time to get advice as to what equipment would be most appropriate for my needs. I was helped by a guy named Chad, who was remarkably knowledgeable while simultaneously coming across as very humble and trustworthy. After getting a thorough education from Chad, and absolutely no sales pressure, I eventually decided to go with ALL of his suggestions, which amounted to no small amount of money. To my surprise, Chad offered to deliver all of this gear to my house and show me how to use it for no extra charge. True to his word, he gave me a thorough education at my property and almost every piece of advice proved to be extremely valuable. Chad was so knowledgeable and so helpful that eventually I got suspicious that he was no mere sales guy. So I asked him, "Are you by any chance a part-owner of the business?" Sure enough, Chad replied that he and his wife are the sole owners of the business. Chad does much of the sales work while his wife handles much of the accounting. Since then, I've been back to Pentex many times for routine maintenance and for additional equipment purchases. Chad and his team at Pentex have always been 100% helpful and their advice has always been spot-on. They do what they say, on the timetable they promise, and the charges are always reasonable. It has been a pleasure doing business with Pentex and I look forward to being a customer for at least as long as Chad continues to own the business (he's a pretty young guy so that should be for a long time to come). I suggest that you might want to do the same.

Linda, who answers the phone, continually spoke over me when I asked her three times to listen to what I had to say about my tractor. Each time I began speaking, she refused to listen and continued to talk. When I realized I wasn't being heard, I finally hung up and contacted management. Lansdowne-Moody in Hockley has had my tractor for A MONTH and we have been VERY patient. We called several times only to be told it would be soon. Miraculously enough when I finally contacted management today, "it's ready to be delivered." I spoke with the manager and let him know the customer service was unaccepatable and a customer is to be heard, not spoken over as I was today. He said he agreed and would have my tractor delivered today. Communication at this location needs great improvement, as does their work ethic to return a customer's equipment to them in a timely manner.
