Originally, Sorry I forgot her name but she teams up with Aaron from The Container Store (Galleria). I showed her my sketch with approximate measurements and she rendered my concept to a 3D model. Fast forward, Aaron came to do the initial consultation and with a few tweaks the Master Closet design was brought to life. The process was smooth and he did such a fantastic job that I had two more closets designed. His designs provide the maximum amount of usable space proportionate to each closet and while some items were on backorder I was able to pick them up at the Woodlands location. I had to have a couple of shelves recut due to some adjustments, but the staff was top notch. Note: If you do not use all of the products in your design (i.e. extra anchor screws, shelve covers) you can return them for a store credit. read more

5/3/2025: Good thing these stores aren't on every corner, because I would be broke! Just when I think I have enough organization, I find more items I can use. The sales associate who helped me, I believe her name was Francesca, was extremely friendly and helpful. The store was clean and well organized. That would be an oxymoron if they weren't. Hehe! However, this place is problematic for my high OCD personality as I can get "lost" for hours checking out all the great things they offer. Elfa is a great product but very pricey. Installers do a very good job and should be able to review final design as they had excellent suggestions. But...Staff at this store however could not get delivery right on not one, but two attempts. Setting a date and time frame should be simple for a business these days but they could not perform. I have had a closet done by them before so this was my second experience. Both times it has been a pleasure working with both the sales and design people and also the installers. We had a couple of incorrect or missing pieces this time but the installers bagged what needed to be returned to the store and when I got there they had the missing pieces ready for me. I love the Elfa system and they are very nice quality. It's been an overall great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. read more

Yesterday I called the container store because I was cleaning out my pantry... Nothing else to do since we are stuck here at home due to the virus.....upon finding not enough space for all the extra food I've been buying ..I thought how Can I increase my shelf space. I took a break... sat down and started looking for stores that might have some type of shelving solution and came across the container store.......They have undershelf storage metal baskets! Wow... I thought ...this will work! But I thought there's no way they will get an order ready like ....right now.... so that I can go do a parking lot pick up... But when I phoned them... They said they were extremely busy,but they would get my order ready for me and I could pick it up in approximately an hour or less. What a surprise! Well that's not the best part... It was how I was treated on the phone... I spoke to two different people And was pleasantly surprised with how kind and polite these sales people were..... they were so accommodating! I was never told that they couldn't or wouldn't Get the order ready for me in a timely manner. At the end of our conversation I was told... ( even though I could not see his face.... Customer service here is wonderful especially if you're considering upgrading some closet space and getting a custom organized system. Currently I'm all about re-organizing and downsizing so proper storage is critical. I found some great boxes for the kids toys that were on sale (and they were better priced than Ross or TJ Maxx-which is a first stop to hunt for bargains). I also checked out their closet systems which are pricey to begin with but they are currently having a 30 percent off sale. They come in and take out your rods and shelves and put in a new sleeker system according to your needs. I was given all the information to consider so I'm definitely looking at their systems as a possibility. Overall a great place to find some great home stuff to keep you tidy. Completely rude store. Store associates on the radios not paying attention almost just run right into you(forget them saying hi at all). Then they demand you to adjust your mask completely on(county judges order states not in forcing it anyways). Didn't say please at all or thank you to "correctly adjust" mask. No manners and customer service is not their priority I suppose. Rudest store I have ever been too. Shop online or go somewhere else. Rudest male cashier I have ever encountered. Visited the store today and as I entered I looked for a sign concerning masks, and there wasn't one on either the door, window or entrance, but as I entered the store I was verbally accosted by a male cashier. I quickly located what I came in for and proceeded to the counter, where the same young man was still working the register. I had to remove my mask for my phones facial recognition, and he made a huge production about stepping back away from the plexiglass that separated us. I asked him if he had been vaccinated to which he replied "No", I told him I had and I also had COVID earlier this year. He said "YOU can still pass the virus on to other people"....really???? If you're that paranoid, get the dang vaccine! And, The Container store needs to make it clear at its entrance about their mask expectations and not rely solely on their rude clerks to convey that informatio. read more

Today, My sister and I went to the container store. It was about 10 am when we got there. The note on the stated they did not open till 11 am and to make an appointment on the website. So trying to attempt it I ended up calling their toll free number to ask how to accomplish this. The sweet lady stated she too was unable to do this and appreciated that I let her know. I called the store to make an appointment, to which I was told I needed to make an appointment and the girl stated she would have to find the appt book.(I was on hold for 10 minutes and hung up on). I called back again and a McKenzie answered the phone, I ask if I could make an appt to come into the store at 11:30 as she stated she didn't have that as an opening (with a terrible attitude), I told her we came in from Fort Worth and that Container Store there you did not have to make an appointment. She says," Well obviously they don't know how to social distance, and I don't have any opening. I asked if I ordered thru her could I pick it up in an hour, since you do not have any time slots available. She then hung up on me ( the second time) . I have never experienced anyone speaking to me in that tone of voice. She either needs to be re-trained in customer service or anger management skills. i love this store! i've always driven past this store many times but after being recommended here by a co worker for random items ( lol ) I decided to finally stop by. the employees here were so kind ! I enjoyed each and every one I had an encounter with. the lady at the cashier was also nice and welcoming. I really liked also that they kindly enforce masks at this location, it truly does make the environment more comforting. I discovered The Container Store by mistake while looking for something else on Yelp* (awesome) and I am happy I did. It is exactly what the name says, a store of containers. But it is a fancy store filled with fancy containers. You can get a lot of what you find here at places like Walmart, Target, etc and likely for less at Walmart; but you won't find the variety they have here, the organization and layout they offer and its much nicer shopping experience than a Walmart or Target so if you don't mind spending a few more bucks then you should check this place out first. Now I cannot say first hand that it is more/less expensive. I found what I was looking for here and a whole lot more. Be prepared to exercise self restraint when you enter. If you're at all like me and like to have everything in its place, this store will drive you mad because there is a box, bin, jar, etc for just about everything and anything you can think of. They even have Polar water bottles for $9.00 which has to be the cheapest I have seen them around... Bottom-line for me is, if you need a container where are you going to go? There are a lot of options out there and for me, I enjoyed my recent experience at The Container Store. I would suggest it to anyone who is in the market for an Airtight container to keep food/coffee in, a bin for storing extra clothing or even a file cabinet for your tax returns. Sure there are cheaper alternatives around (well, maybe there are) but you won't find another store quite like this one... at least I haven't. read more

I used to love this store and the service until I decided to do a TCS Closet with them, they do charge a considerable amount of money for it but my husband and I decided to splurge and get the closet of our dreams, turns out they did not measure thee space correctly, even though there were two different people coming in to double check the measurements and the closet ended up being not the exact size, and even though they offered to fix it with fillers, we do feel disappointed on having it fixed because of their mistakes on a work that was supposed to be perfect on the first place, as they advertise, and not even an apology on their end, they just said "what do you want me to do this things happen we are not even charging you for fixing it". read more

The products they have here are awesome. They offer a range of really supplies and ideas for kitchen and bedrooms. Although I found the service not so great. The ladies are just hovering over you and they had the nerve to tell my teenage son (15) not to touch anything. He was looking at some lockers and storage bins. I felt really uncomfortable and they seem to be a little stuffy and uptight. I will not go back to this store and the behavior of the employees needs to change. read more
