Lucky for me, this spot is truly a consignment gem. Don't judge a book by its cover, the interior of this place is pretty sizable, and bonus, the prices are pretty solid. Additionally, the quality of their furniture is great. It is quite literally everywhere you look. Light fixtures are hung above your head, seating options are displayed everywhere and art paints the walls. Headboards, tables, unique seating, prints, patio furniture, and even jewelry, they have quite a selection. That being said, the only feedback I'd have is better attention to customer service. I think I was acknowledged once, if that. That acknowledgement was a glance, and a response to my "good morning". I'd love to be welcomed into the store, a nice hello, and a check in while shopping, but everyone has off days and it's possible that I experienced a one off. Given the stacked furniture, I think they've outgrown their current warehouse space, which is not their fault, but it can make it a bit difficult to see and appreciate all of their offerings. The shopping experience was made enjoyable with Terry Tucker's knowledgeable introduction to the options out there on the floor; he showed us what they had, then left us to our own devices to look and measure the options without following us around or pressuring our search. Once we finally made our decision, he also provided a lot of support when we attempted to finalize the order online - eventually we were unsuccessful, but a trip to the warehouse to order solved that in short order. Delivery was fast and efficient - the deliverers noticed and took it upon themselves to reject and re-order two pieces of the 6 pc sectional. The extra two pieces came promptly the next business day, and now we have the full sectional in place and are pleased with the quality of the items themselves, as well as the delivery process and staff. I have been dealing with multiple eye surgeries (9) and didn't see the bent leg until after I water proofed all the cushions and even tried to touch up a small scratch because I didn't want to bother the service people. It was only after I did that was when my wife noticed the bent leg! My wife suggested I call Customer service and tell them everything that happened. I was lucky to be connected to Darlene, a service rep in Colorado who listened to my situation and was able to help me. She was extremely friendly and understanding. Darlene not only helped me to get the frame replaced instead of us driving it back to the store, Darlene arranged a pick up and delivery for us. It used to be very global, now it's mostly China and other Asian countries who are not known for their quality or human rights and labor protection laws. Now that Pier One is dead and gone, the lack of competition seems to have lowered their standards and increase their prices. They are still good for certain, limited products, but they are clearly a shallow, empty shell of what they used to be

The customer service wasn't awesome but on par with what you expect for any retailer. Debi was very helpful and patient as my wife hemmmmed and haaaaaaaaahed about things eventually ending with us leaving a quotation for several pieces. We contacted Debi and informed her we were moving forward with a purchase and I'd be in later in the week to pay. Today was that day to pay, I arrive a few minutes after they open. I hear the door bell ring to alert the sales floor there is a visitor. I wait a few moms for a greeting that never comes. I slowly make my way to the rear of the store where I hear voices and eventually people. There are 4 women to my right that are surround a laptop and Debi (who's back is turned to me) is chatting with another associate (who's wearing the same played out outfit he was in last week). The four woman look me up abs down and say nothing to me, nothing and then go back to chatting amongst themselves. I turn to the Debi who is still enthralled in conversation with her back to me and look directly into the eyes of the guy she is talking with, this mofo too just looks me up and down and refuses to even acknowledge my presence. After staring at him for about 10-15 seconds I finally ask "is that Debi there?" She turns around and greets me and I continue to be invisible to the other "people" in this business. Outside of Debi the apathy they showed me has solidified my not ever patronizing this location again and I will do my absolute best to encourage other black and brown person I know not to shop there (unless they are working with Debi) in the future.

Disappointed with Quality and Service…read more I purchased a King-size 'Kravet Arboretum Petite Floral Reversible Duvet' with matching shams from Pottery Barn. Since they didn't carry the size in-store, the staff ordered it online for me (after tax and shipping, the total came to $380). Unfortunately, the shipment arrived with an overwhelming, toxic odor--similar to old motor oil or exhaust fumes. The smell was so STRONG it filled my entire home, and I had to open all the doors and windows to air it out. I returned the first set, and the staff ordered a replacement from one of their main distribution centers. Sadly, the second set arrived with the exact same issue. I ultimately returned everything to the Pottery Barn store in The Woodlands. The staff claimed they had never encountered this issue before, and despite the fact that I've spent nearly $1,900 at this Pottery Barn, they offered no resolution beyond a refund. It was frustrating, especially given the time and energy I spent dealing with this. Overall, I'm disappointed. I won't be purchasing any more bedding from any Pottery Barn, and the customer service dealing with this whole ordeal was underwhelming.
