I'm in love with old treasures and antiques. There were so many beautiful things from the 1800/1900s. The Spring Antique Mall is pretty big. It is easy to navigate. This location is very organized for the most part. Parking is plentiful. Pricing varies depending on the vendor. I personally found things to be quite affordable. The staff I encountered were helpful and kind. This place seems to be pretty popular. I can understand why. I usually visit antique malls to kill some time, and this is an okay place to do that. With only 35 vendors within a smallish space in a strip center, there is not much space for larger items here. You will see mostly smaller vintage items, as opposed to the large mall across Spring Cypress which has much more furniture and larger items. I spent only 30 mins here, since they were closing in 45 mins, and they didn't really have what I was looking for anyway. The service was friendly, and they do not try to follow you around, just let you browse at your own pace. read more

This spot started on a high for me with a few really unique, quality finds, but among the winding sections filled with hundreds of artifacts, I left with mixed feelings. While I enjoyed the incredible selection (minus the furniture, there wasn't much of that), variety of antiques, and attention of the staff, I was a bit unsettled by a handful of questionable selections- a literal whip on the wall, mammy figures, a little sambo book, native artifacts, and sombreros...the whip on the wall was really my cue to exit stage left. Additionally, I agree with the peanut gallery regarding the pricing, it certainly feels like there's a mark up, but I'm personally not above paying a premium for the right piece. I love antiques, and the space and layout are truly fantastic for this type of shop. While I understand that certain inclusions are a part of history, without context, these choices (for me atleast) were pretty unsettling. I really like this antique mall. I have been several times and each time I find something I need to they have plenty of booths. You can find dishes, furniture, Christmas decor, jewelry, etc. it's not junky and the workers are very helpful. The prices are also very fair in my opinion. read more

Drove from Houston to Spring to peruse for some antiques. From the outside for a brief moment it looks like a small store front. Once inside there's plenty to browse and admire. I really enjoyed my shopping experience here. I spent about an hour and a half looking at items from dozens of vendors and found some wonderful things. They price things reasonably and had a wonderful assortment. The ladies working here are friendly and talkative but leave you alone when you want to look, too. They're available to answer questions which I appreciate. I did overhear some gossip at the front counter from a couple of women which I read had irritated some customers. It isn't enjoyable so hopefully they'll become more covert about it or just not do it. But overall, I'd definitely visit this place again to shop and to admire the gorgeous, carved Victorian furniture they have in abundance. Amazing craftsmanship! read more

First, I will start by saying that I have never left a negative review. I simply don't go somewhere again, but this time I simply cannot stand for this type of behavior from a FULL STAFF. If I could, I would leave this place 0 stars. My friends and I came into this place really excited because we all share a love for antiques and history. We aren't "average" looking people. We all have different colored hair, tattoos, 'unique' styles of clothing on. Little do they know, we are the sweetest people. We were followed from the moment we got in. Any time I turned around there was a different employee STARING at each of us. They weren't doing this to any other customers, it was just us. We heard them mentioning that we were "gay" and my friend was standing right behind a woman (employee) that was talking about every single one of us. About how bad about her tattoos were, and was boasting about how she was "ease-dropping" on our conversations. Just because we LOOK a certain way. Basically if you are gay, and you have tattoos you are a target to these people. HORRIBLE AND UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE. Not to mention everything here is way over priced. Whoever owns this place should be ashamed and embarrassed of the employees that run this establishment. Homophobic and bigotry is disgusting personality traits, you all are way too old not to know better. read more

My family and I have been shopping at this antique mall for many many years. Today during our shopping trip, my family was stalked by an old man employed by the store. He followed us into every booth and continued to follow us around the entire store. He stared at us the entire time and invaded our personal space. He made us feel like we were going to steal something. As soon as we walked through the front door, we were PROFILED immediately. My family and I have plenty of money and do not have the need to steal anything from this store. We have made several purchases from the store in the past. The ladies at the counter did not even greet us when we checked out. Overall, our entire experience was extremely disappointing. We will not be returning to this store. First we weren't welcomed when we walked in Everyone there looks like they hate life and unhappy. There is so much stuff. You will be there forever just looking. Have some nice things but mostly nick nacks Everything is so over priced. You don't want to buy anything. Old Tupperware is double the cost compared to other places I have seen. 2 works walked all around us like if we were going to do something or still And when we did leave still no thank you for coming in. I have been searching for some unique decor to decorate some bookcases and tried out the Spring Antique Mall. I didn't have any expectations going in but was hopeful that I'd find something to peak my interest, and I absolutely did! My husband and I had a great time roaming through the store finding treasures, unique pieces, books, vases, plates, statues, classic cameras, kitchenware, and records just to name a few things we found. We had a great time reminiscing on things we saw at our grandparents and memories of their homes. Definitely recommend if you're looking for classic pieces or just a chance to go down memory lane. They have a lot of good items. I found everything too be very Over- Priced but It was nice too see actual Antique Items in good condition. They did not have much furniture. Eh, spent about an hour here and I've been to about 10 Antique malls in the past two weeks and this one takes the cake for "high pricing" this is more of a Museum than an actual shopping place. Half the stuff is marked up so high for some unknown reason. I mean a $5 Disney bubbler is $35 lol. Spring Antique Mall is everything an antique store should be. The boyfriend and I love antiquing. We justify it because we're in the process of moving in together and we're trying to blend our (very different) styles. But truth be told, we will most likely continue it long after our apartment is bursting from the seams. Lately when we're in a new city we try to stop by an antique store or 2 and we somehow stumbled across this one a few weeks ago when we were driving back from Houston. Maybe it was the free donuts and coffee they offered us when we walked through the door that put us in a good mood, but we bought. And then we bought some more. I'd been looking for a china cabinet for our new place to house my grandmother's china. I rounded the corner and saw it. My china cabinet. No doubt about it. Only problem: this store was outside Houston and we live in Dallas. And my Honda Accord wasn't going to be taking it back with us. Then I saw the price, which was unbelievable. I did a quick calculation that we could rent a van and drive back to Houston and the net price would STILL be good. The people who worked there were great, agreeing to hold it for us for 3 weeks so that we could come back to pick it up. When we picked it up they wrapped everything up for us well and carried it to our van. Why do we LOVE this store? The most important thing is that the selection is fantastic and diverse. In one part there's this fantastic art deco china cabinet that I bought and another side has a real working traffic light. (I WANT that light for our loft!) We also took home a fantastic set of blue carnival glass candle sticks, a funky hanging wood shelf, and a pair of Blatz Beer salt and pepper shakers. The prices are very good. It's not thrift store prices, but after having been in MANY similar stores and having a good understanding of the value of what we like, these prices were extremely fair and there were quite a few amazing deals to be had. We also got an extra discount for paying with cash/check. Everyone who works there are all very nice and helpful and place a high importance on customer service. My only regret about this place is that it's outside of Houston and not Dallas. But we'll be back, I have no doubt. read more

One of the best antique malls in Houston! I grew up around antique dealers, so I've been to countless antique stores/malls, and this is one of my very favorites. It's a really good size - large enough to have a big selection with new merchandise coming in, but yet not overwhelming where you need to put on walking shoes just to get around the store. I think the best thing about Spring Antique Mall is that they truly sell antiques and collectibles, and NOT crafts, modern decorations, fake "designer" purses, etc. It's nice to see such good quality things in there. It makes it fun to browse since even if you don't find that must-have item, you still feel like you're taking a trip down memory lane. The mall has a lot of collectibles/figurines, jewelry, coins, primitives, books, china/dishes, depression glass, and vintage clothes/accessories. There's not as much furniture as other malls, although the pieces they do have tend to be nicer and more unique. Overall it's a great selection and worth checking out! read more

I was on a business trip and had some spare time so stopped in here. I could have easily spent twice as much time and money. Really nice merchandise and it is eclectic. I walked away with a lovely mirrored vanity tray and a glass chimney for a very hard to fit oil lamp I own. Went with my family to browse for some items. I love antique stores set up like this one with individual booths. You'll find a lot of similar items at some booth but if you're patient, you can discover some really good items. It's a little pricier but not anything overly expensive. I found a pair of copper cups hat I decided to use as succulent planters and my father found a nice salt water fishing reel. The store is able to call individual booth owners with price questions and they have lots of employees walking around ready to help. read more

I felt very uncomfortable being pretty much the only customer in this antique store and having 3 different workers keep passing by me as if I was trying to steal something. At least that is how I felt. I understand that they have probably had shoplifters, but wherever I went, there they were, going back and forth. I had a lot of money to spend, but only spent $10 for one of the items I found, just to quickly get out of there. Of course this is an item I really wanted or I would have just left without buying anything. Prices are very high also, so I advise you to research an item before purchasing. Even if you research an item, they won't budge much, as their items are so overpriced. Note to business, invest in loss prevention or a better camera system so you are not pestering your customers like a hawk does its prey. If you would have noticed the $50,000 + vehicle I pulled up in, you might have actually noticed that I was there to drop some cash! This antique mall is the best one we've been to here in Houston. My husband is from Wichita, Kansas and every time we drive up there we always stop at our favorite antique malls. When I realized that Houston was lacking a good antique mall like the ones we go to in Dallas, Oklahoma, and Kansas I got bummed out because you'd think in such a big city their has to be one so when we found Spring Antique Mall and all they had...we got excited! We live in the Sugar Land area too, and that's a drive for us but my husband and I will make a day trip out of it especially when I'm searching for new furniture and he's wanting to stash up on more comic books. Large nice shop. People at counter were friendly. Antique shops are having a bit of a hard time staying open. Most people are knowledgeable enough to sell their antique item on eBay to get the best price, instead of selling to a shop. This shop like other sells mostly glass, chime, jewelry and furniture.
