One of the coolest things I came across was furniture that had been used on movie sets. The workers were very friendly. When they saw us carrying items, they would tag it with our name and bring it to the check out counter so we didn't need to carry it while we browsed. I also appreciated that they have a small eating area on-site. After hours of shopping and exploring, it's nice to be able to grab a bite without leaving the building. Raul was very helpful on the phone, sent pictures and measurements, and my husband and I went right away. They were the perfect high-quality leather sofa, and loveseat at the perfect price! (The shop was lovely and I found a few other eclectic items as well!) At checkout, when I explained why I needed the leather (having allergic/anaphylactic/respiratory reactions to a new fabric sofa and loveseat we purchased 6 weeks ago), Raul went above and beyond. Raul personally arranged for his delivery man to come in at 7am to load and deliver the next morning before the store opened so I wouldn't have to wait 3-5 days for delivery. I didn't ask for special treatment - he did it out of the kindness of his own heart! In fact, Raul (owner) himself and his driver delivered, set up, and picked up the other set for me at 8:00 the next morning. Those looking for mid-century modern will do better in Montrose. I wouldn't say I saw any great bargains - it was definitely on the pricier side. You can find almost anything in here: yarn, fabric, kids books, cookbooks, misc cards, seashells, school supplies, cds, stickers, ink pads, and a lot more. Most expensive thing was the yarn which was $12/pound, but everything else we bought was less than $2 each. If you took the time, you could find some steals. I got a brand new jacket for my dog for $1. I'll definitely be coming back here.
