I love my visits into this shop. The selection is jaw dropping. I have to restrain myself from buying too many things lol read more

I used to enjoy shopping here until I saw a display case full of racist/problematic items for sale, including: a nazi skull pendant, racist wall decor caricatures of African Americans (labeled as "Americana" decor), and a "terrorist hunting license with bag limit unlimited" card. "Antique" or not, items like this should not be allowed for sale. These store owners are accountable for the items that they sell. Additionally, one of the store owners bragged about having a copy of "Little Black Sambo," a book that has long-since been banned for its racist depictions of Black people. I will not patronize this store any longer. Their prices suck, too. A quick Google search shows that they had highly overcharged for a damaged book under the guise of "giving us a deal." read more

I went to go shopping for my Etsy store. The prices were a little high for vintage resale, but I did find a few great pieces for my shop, and the prices were fine for regular antique shoppers. Well kept shop, not dusty. Great selection. Nice people. I will definitely go back. read more

I used to love shopping here with my sisters and aunts, but I won't be returning. bought a table from here on Saturday, 8/22. The price was clearly marked $40 on the tag. I took the tag off and walked to the register to get help with removing the items on top of the table. When we got back to the table, there was momentary searching for the tag as they had misplaced it. They found it, rang me up, I paid, and carried on. When I got home and looked at my receipt I was charged $58. I assumed it was a minor mishap, and maybe they rang up the wrong ticket or used the vendor number for the price. However, they told me it was marked $58 and sent me a picture of the ticket. As per the photo, you can see that the ticket clearly shows that a new price was marked on top of the old price. Now, I don't know who or why, but that means someone changed the price. It clearly said $40 and quite legibly. And now it sas $58 all messy. They said no one could help me because the owner was out with Covid. They have cameras. I wanted the owner to look on his cameras to see which employee did it. Because someone did. They maintain that they spoke to the dealer and the table's original price was $90 and that she marked over it to make it $58. They also said they've been having issues with their vendors doing this, and have told them to stop so that tickets are clearly marked. I don't know about all of that, because my ticket was clearly marked in Sharpie as $40. The owner, Chuck Harper, finally calls me back after speaking to several other employees. He rudely interrupts my conversation with another employee to tell me that he wasn't reviewing the cameras and that he trusts his employees implicitly, and that he doesn't take my word at all. I've never experienced an owner of a small business be so rude to a customer. It was mind boggling. They said I could return the table, but they wouldn't make a refund of the difference. For me, it isn't about the price of the table. It's about the principle that someone changed the price. I would've paid the twice as much for the table, because it really was a steal. Which is another reason, it's price was clearly in my head. Because I kept looking at the tag to make sure I wasn't getting excited about that price for no reason! :) You know? :) I won't be returning the table, because I have since, oiled it and buffed it and tightened it screws to better than pristine condition. And now they could charge much more for it. If you want to keep customers happy, you might want to give them the benefit of the doubt. If you have nothing to hide, watch your video surveillance. But saying that you won't even look? Sounds like you're covering up something. So, if you shop here, which I highly discourage, make sure they don't try and change prices. read more

Service and hospitality toxic. Drove from an hour away to shop at this store specifically. Was asked to move vehicle twice because an employee said the police may tow if stuck out in the street. I have a large truck. I pulled forward more like asked. Then a second employee asked me to move backwards to not block the sidewalk. The employees were rude and angry with me for just being there period so I took my business to a different antique store and was not bothered about where or how I parked. There was no need fo the employees to be rude, it was unnecessary. I will never go back to this place and I will tell everyone I know to stay away from this toxic environment read more

My 1st impression was that many of their items were priced a bit high. Some of the spaces were tight and you really have to take care when in them as turning around could knock something down. There were a lot of neat things out back but nothing had a price. When I asked, I was told she would go out with me, take a photo of the item and send it to the owner to find out the price. By that time I could be eating dinner back home in Houston. I thought it was just bad music, but then I discovered that it was Christian music. That was a huge turn off. Not that I'm anti-Christian, but to play a religious station in a public store is a bit selfish. At least it wasn't rap or country. I did find a lamp to my liking and thought it was reasonably priced. The assistance was friendly and the lamp wrapped well. It's the kind of place I'd visit maybe once a year just to see what might be new. It's definitely worth a stop if you like antiques. read more

I moved to Tomball about 8 months ago and I started going to the shops around here and stumbled upon this antique store and fell in love. I have bought so many things from here and started going at least once a week. I got to know the owner and the dealers here and loved it so much that I asked if I could work with them! I can officially say that I have a space and everyone has received me with open arms. Please stop by and visit you never know what you will find. I am often at the store if you have any questions. The first time I came in, I was overwhelmed with the amount of merchandise that they have out. It was like a shoppers paradise. Regardless if you love antiques, this place has a lot of beautiful things and interesting things alike. The proprietors were also very welcoming and friendly ! One that really stood out are the several framed documents of "tea cup sally" and her License of Prostitution. Now, I never did research if that was indeed true or if it was a gag gift but it still gave me a chuckle. This place is a treasure trove of all sorts of miscellaneous items. From old china to brass pots to old coins, geodes, chandeliers, farming implements, even an old John Deer ride on children's toy tractor ! Words do no justice in just describing what you will find in this place. the collection is so vast and varied and the time periods span from modern to maybe a couple hundred years. That being said, this place has no a/c or hardly has any. Sure, there are a lot of fans around but in the sweltering Texas heat, it really takes away from the joy of shopping. Also, I have not seen a public restroom. I can't trust my memory enough if it said no public restroom or just that it wasn't available. For someone like me who makes it a point to stay hydrated (read : bottle of water in purse at all times LOL), it makes it inconvenient when nature calls. On top of that, I noted some of the items were a bit on the pricey side. I am no antiques expert but I am a resale shop butterfly. I've probably visited most resale shops within reasonable driving distance from my home so I do have an inkling of what a great "steal" would cost. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. If it had air and working bathrooms, it would definitely be getting a 5 star from me. read more

The owners here are way too uptight. If you park here and shop here, do NOT go elsewhere and think you can look at any other shops. They will tape signs to your car telling you to park elsewhere. Way to make sure I never shop here again. read more

Subpar customer service. The store is mediocre at best. Not a lot of variety either. The best part was a kid trying to haggle with the lady, but the lady didn't budge- what a shame. the boy was like 6. i'm not coming back. plenty of better options there read more

Shame on Cherry Street Antiques for being racist in 2021. The country has enough division already yet they allow a Non-Mexican American, window shopper to use their restroom right in front of me but not my 4yr old son after we spent 30 bucks on merchandise. He was denied access due to " Covid" but not the other guy who wasnt even a customer. Then she mocked me for playing a "race card"!!!No ma'am thats on you for racially profiling who you allow to share your toilet with!!! Needless to say my son left crying not being able to hold it!! All that is gold doesn't always glitter. The exterior of Cherry Street Antiques is a shabby store front that doesn't quite catch everyone's eye...Tucked away right off of Main Street, the peeling paint and rusted metal may even make you second guess whether you should go inside. I will let you know that this antique store is worth EVERY minute of your time. Jam packed in the nooks and crannies are great & unique finds unlike many of the other antique stores on Main St. Along with a great selection of peculiar antiques, is friendly staff willing to help you on your treasure hunt to find exactly what you need. My fiancé and I ended up purchasing an amazing selection of well kept vinyl records and some iron work. I can't wait to visit Old Town Tomball just so I can step foot in Cherry Street again! read more

I have stopped by Cherry street antiques many times and bought a lot of things over the years. Had a really bad experience the last visit. Drove right up to the door, was greeted right away and asked if I needed help. I said that I would like to look around, but asked if I could use their restroom first, (I had to pee really bad! Lol ) she looked me up and down, and said " No ", I did not know what to say and walked out. She was so rude. I am certain the city of Tomball and Harris county have codes concerning public restrooms. They lost a good customer, I wont go back again. read more

Cute stuff... Would love to have shopped here and spent some Christmas cash, however there is NO RESTROOM available for customers. Considering, most of the customers are probably ladies of a "certain age" or Mom's with kids, the lack of that amenity most definitely curtails the shopping experience. Something to consider.... And directing folks to leave your building to cross the busy street and relieve themselves at the public restroom makes zero sense. Once I've left your place, I'm not retracing my steps to come back. read more

PLEASE DON'T BASE THE BOOK FROM THE COVER. Get your rear out of your car in go inside. You will be pleasantly surprised. Lots of nooks and crannies to find some great deals. I was out in Tomball and was looking for a good antique store, this one seemed to have good reviews so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how well organized the store and booths were in general. I really enjoyed looking / digging through the 'industrial' items and found some awesome brass hardware / fixtures I am going to repurpose. Definitely recommend stopping by and checking the place out. read more

Could spend hours looking at everything in this space. Very friendly employees, asked me several times if they could help me with something.
