If you love treasure hunting, plan to spend a few hours at Antique Gallery of Houston in…read moreSpring--you'll need the time! This place is massive, with booth after booth of unique finds. The booths are marked with a letter and number so you can keep track of where you've been! Every time I turned a corner, I discovered something different. From beautiful china and vintage collectibles to outdoor metal art and furniture, there's truly something for everyone. One of the coolest things I came across was furniture that had been used on movie sets. The workers were very friendly. When they saw us carrying items, they would tag it with our name and bring it to the check out counter so we didn't need to carry it while we browsed. I also appreciated that they have a small eating area on-site. After hours of shopping and exploring, it's nice to be able to grab a bite without leaving the building. This is the kind of place where you never know what treasure you'll find next. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Spring area and enjoy antiques, collectibles, and one-of-a-kind pieces!

Comprised of both the main store and an intake area, StillGoode dominates the shopping strip. Apparently consignment is by appointment only, but this review is not about that process, it's about the fun stuff, furniture shopping! Browsing from aisle to aisle, it was clear that everything was in pretty good shape. While the shop as a whole embraced traditional furniture offerings, I occasionally ran across a few items in other styles (an oversized burl coffee table, boucle accent chairs, and various farmhouse pieces for example). The pricing is pretty competitive, especially if you're willing to overlook a few minor markings of wear and tear. It far more expensive than your Goodwill, or Junior Forum, but less expensive than your inner loop curated consignment boutique, and certain a better value that purchasing new. More than that I appreciate the demeanor of the staff. They're helpful but not at all overbearing. They're friendly and available without hovering. It's a relaxed, low pressure environment that allows the customer to feel comfortable taking their time to make decisions. In addition to carrying high quality furniture they also carry decor, framed artwork, jewelry, and handbags. Although my husband and I didn't find anything on this trip, I'm sure we'll be back in a few months to take a look at the new inventory.

I noticed that they have a great seasonal layout and also many other trinkets and decorative deals to choose from. The store or house is pretty big and each room has even more memorable items which makes it interesting to see. For this to be such a big antique shop, it's really clean and feels like the house won't fall apart unlike some other antique shops we've been to. I thought majority of their items were over-priced just a tad, but the availability of options were seemingly endless. The staff was nice and helpful, and we do look forward to visiting again soo.

So I let myself through a latched garden porch gate. Upon entering a lady from behind the counter barked; "I'm not open!" Confused by her signage, she shrugged & explained to me she was there for Halloween inventory only & the gate was locked. "Feel free to put your Closed Sign up then." Having owned businesses & serving customers, I would never treat anyone that way. She must be spoiled. Well Camille, I will not buying from you EVER, nor can I recommend anyone to come see You.
