I wrote an earlier review for a kitchen appliance purchase, which was a positive experience. However, my regular experiences in this location are not as good as they used to be. They are now practically forcing everyone to use self checkout. I have no objection to that some of the time, depending on the items I need. But yesterday, as I approached the checkout, there was one guy out in the aisle funneling people to certain stations. As I completed my transaction, I noticed 4-5 other workers just standing around chatting. So much for customer service. Instead of having a pleasant exchange with a cashier, where I might ask questions, I get to do the work myself and watch their staff hang out and socialize. Disappointing.

Lately had some time to do some work at my home. Never really found time since moved here couple years ago. And Home Depot is the place I chose to buy staff from (I usually believe in local smaller hardware stores, but this time I needed many things and only Home Depot has it all in stock). Got here Saturday morning. I was one of the first customers here (it quickly got busy here). Went to the tools department. Got a new driller on sale. Very good deal. Got some screws (wish they had someone who could advise). Got some material for woods and walls. Took me a while, but at the end I was able to find everything. About working at home. If you do you will probably agree, you can never really get everything on a single visit. Will be back tomorr

1st I purchased this during the Thanksgiving Black Friday sale and thr sales rep forgot to add the mounting brackets that should have been included since it is advertised as a "Stackable Unit". When he canceled the order and recharged the entire purchase it Flagged a Fraud Alarm with my Bank that took weeks to fix and ended up having delayed Auto-Pay on my accounts having to pay LATE FEES. 2nd, the delivery crew arrived and I instructed them bot to hook up the water so I could finish some drywall work. We discussed putting the isolator pads down and they advised using Windex on the floor to make it easier to slide back. The bight of the installation I find parts thrown around my laundry room, manuals strewn about, and the isolator pads on another shelf that were NOT installed. 3rd, I had tipped them 20 dollars for working on a Saturday and ended up spending (2) hours having to clean up all the broken up Styrofoam pieces the completely left all over my driveway and road. I had too clean this all up in 30 degree weather so my neighbors pets would accidentally eat them and become extremely sick or worse. This is absolutely the most ridiculous and horrible experience I've ever encountered on just a single purchase.

Pickup lockers are only operational during business hours. This completely defeats the entire purpose of the pickup locker. So stupid.

"Santa", can we get some representation?

Its location is a bit tricky off a main thoroughfare, and parking could be tight on a busy day. I stopped by to look at their hardware selection today. In search of specific materials, I wanted to see what was available. Easy in and out today, with no interaction with staff near closing time. I'll be back as I'm interested in materials for replacements and projects, I need more time to look at options and costs.

My husband sent me to get it refilled--a task I don't normally handle. I hadn't realized the store was right off Ritchie Highway (a road I drive often) and had never noticed it before. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The exterior was beautiful: vibrant flowers and an inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, as soon as I walked in with the empty tank, that positive first impression quickly faded. A friendly young cashier greeted me, and I told her I needed a propane refill. An older woman sitting next to her then barked from behind the counter, "Ma'am, you need to take that tank outside." I immediately complied, but the tone felt unnecessarily scolding. There was no greeting and no explanation, just a reprimand as if I should have already known the rules. As I stepped back outside, a young man came over to take the propane tank to fill it. After waiting a moment, I went back inside to pay to help move the process along. Again, the older woman scolded me and said I couldn't pay until the employee called in with the number of pounds filled. A few minutes later, the tank was filled, I paid, and I was on my way--but the negative experience lingered. The interaction was so rude that I called my husband on the drive home to tell him what happened. Under normal circumstances, I would have browsed and likely purchased something else (the flowers had caught my eye), but the vibe was so unpleasant that I didn't want to spend one more minute--or one more dime--in the store. I'm sharing this because you can't assume customers know your procedures, especially first-time customers. Kindness costs nothing, and a brief explanation would have gone a long way. I hope the customer service approach improves.
