    Sectional that has zero damage

    DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ASHLEY LOCATION PASADENA! We got SCAMMED! My husband picked out a sectional and table from Ashley and it was delivered a few days later on a Wednesday. He met the furniture people at the house (we have not moved in yet) and signed off and went back to work. I arrive in MD Saturday and take one look at the cheap furniture and call Ashley to have it retuned so I can exchange it for something more modern farmhouse style. Ashley said yes it was within the 3 day window they'd be happy to pick it up so we can shop for new items. The soonest time for them to get the furniture is Wednesday. We have been staying in a hotel until our furniture from Texas arrives via moving truck. I met the guys at the house to pick up the furniture and next thing I know the delivery truck driver puts someone on the phone who tells me the items are damaged and they will not accept the items back!!! I was shocked. We have not used the furniture or even lived in the house the furniture was delivered to. I explained there must be a mistake and the furniture was delivered this way so any imperfections (I still have yet to see the photos of "damaged" goods were clearly done from the warehouse or delivery process. They said if my husband didn't point it out initial delivery then there's nothing to do now. They basically pulled apart the furniture (the sectional) found a stitch missing where it connects and said that's damage! I asked to speak with the warehouse manager or corporate or anyone who could come to my home and see this furniture in person not from some delivery guys phone pic and to this day, a week later, I have yet to receive a call or anything. I'm now forced to take this further to report fraud to the credit card company, BBB, the media and whomever will help. We need additional furniture for the house so in exchange of 3k store credit we were willing to spend an additional 5k to completely furnish bedrooms, living room etc. My husband got one phone call with the store manager then when he texted the photos of the furniture the manager blocked his number. This is absurd. What happened to customer service and why do I have to fight for someone to do the right thing! We were planning on spending more money but now after seeing how ugly this store is I will take my business to Macys Westfield Annapolis. Please take my advice and don't deal with this company! They are making their business bad business scamming good customers

We originally only went to Mattress Warehouse to lay on the mattress bc we were going to buy online due to the sale they were having it wanted to make sure we liked it although it had great reviews. My husband just had back surgery last year so the purchase was a big deal for us. Our Sale Representative, Arecelli, charged us $300 for the upgraded adjustable bed that included the vibration feature and USB ports, we agreed to this because we thought it would help when his back was hurting. When our delivery came we noticed it didn't have the vibration or USB ports. We drove to the store, Surg, the store manager, assured us that Arcelli, would call to schedule the exchange, on Thursday, it was not a big deal. Thursday afternoon, we still hadn't received a call, so we called them. Surg, became fixated on the mattress price, I realized by the way he was treating me that he didn't care about the base, they were more concerned about the mattress and the price we paid for it. I explained that she price matched and that's why we bought from them that day. I was then told the frame we purchased had been liquidated (selling for pennies on the dollar to get rid of quickly) when I asked what "liquidated meant, he said out of stock without a restock date? We shouldn't have been able to buy it then, right? (It's still an option on their website and says in stock) I was so confused what that had to do with us. I asked him, if I could just get the $300 back or a comparable bed frame. I was told I got a good deal for what I have. They told me that they were applying the $300 towards the cost of the mattress because we shouldn't have been able to buy it that cheap. Imagine my surprise and confusion, I wasn't going to buy from them, I just wanted to lay on the Casper. Arcelli convinced me that they could get us exactly what we wanted by price matching and it would get delivered faster, so we bought from them. At this point, they won't help me work on a resolution. They told me to call the district manager, but provided the wrong phone number. I had to call back again to get the correct number. I reached a generic voicemail, that didn't mention a business or name so I have no clue who I'm waiting to call back. I wish I would have gone with my original plan of buying online. I still can't believe they want to apply my hard earned money how they see fit. BUYERS BEWARE
