This place is definitely one of my new favorite spots. I'd made a reservation for 3 on a weeknight around 515p and was glad I did since it did get busy. This location of The Henry is very large, and had a breakfast/coffee bar area that I'll have to come back and check out. Emma was the hostess and when I asked about the happy hour menu, she said you have to be seated in certain areas to take part in it. She offered to move me if I decided I wanted to move later. Jenna was our waitress and was super awesome, making an exception for our table to have the happy hour specials. I really appreciated this. She recommended the Uptown Cocktail and it was great!! We tried the Umami Brussel Sprouts which were a 10/10! So good, highly recommend! We also tried the Short Rib Potstickers which were good. For my entree I ordered the Sprouts and Squash salad and added chicken. It was delicious, again, 10/10. Would order again. I can't wait to come back. Thank you to all the staff who made our dinner such an awesome experience.
The Henry has just the right combination of classy and casual. I can see why they call themselves the "Greatest neighborhood restaurant." I knew I would love this place before I even stepped foot into the establishment. Sometimes you just have a good feeling about a place because of how it presents but don't even realize that it could be even better than expected. Well, that is the case with The Henry's location in Arcadia. It has been such a pleasure to dine here for a casual coffee and get work done, lunch, dinner or brunch. Each occasion has been quite enjoyable with great customer service, well flavored food and just a lovely place to have any meal. Here is a list of items I have tried: 1.Egg White Turkey Omelet with home fries. Minus the Turkey- A great brunch option with a generous egg white and mixed veggies with well seasoned home fries. 2.Scottish Salmon with risotto and beets- This dish was very interesting and the combination of flavors surprisingly complemented each. Especially the sweet flavor of the beets pulled the dish together. 3.Spicy Tuna & Crispy Rice* and side of fries- Such a great appetizer. I love rice but this dish was an interesting twist on what form rice can come in and was still happy! 4.Cinnamon Coffee Cake and Cinnamon Tea- The cinnamon cakes was tasty and a good size. The tea complemented cake very well. 5.Bagel and Cream Cheese- You can't mess this up. 6.French Toast- Solid Brunch option and well balanced sweetness with light cream cheese frosting. If you love a cinnabon the this was its cousin. 7.Flower Child Scrambled with Eggs Whites- Such a large portion and wholesome meal. Loved that they were able to accommodate the request to do egg whites and not have any meat. Smoked Pineapple Margarita- I was told it tastes as good as it looks. The staff here are just top notch. I love that they have :uniforms" which keeps things so dignified and classy. Plus, the spoon tie pin is just such a neat detail. I just can't rave about this place enough. Clean restrooms, great indoor and outdoor seating. Plus, they are smart about having the private rooms available for open seating off to the side of the Cafe area when no event is being held. Just an all around slam dunk! This place is great for any occasion!
Came back here for dinner and had a great time! Leanna was our waitress and she was one of the best waitresses I've been served by in scottsdale. She was knowledgeable, kind, attentive, and overall extremely friendly. Would return just for her! We had an espresso martini, and family style shared: bolognese, vodka pasta, and a chicken Cesar salad. 10/10, we love this place .
The best absolutely the best I enjoy good food and the Henry definitely deliver. They have phenomenal service. The best service you'll ever see the food the best food you'll ever eat and the coffee always great and fresh and just the overall environment is just perfect even if you want to just go work/ study at the tables, you can do that as well. Get a little work done use the Wi-Fi. It's a perfect spot for everything. You can do fine dining to casual here and you know it's just so perfect. It's what I expect when I go out and they deliver everything exceptionally well service with a smile they are so awesome. I just loved my meal and I look forward to going back at least twice a week.
Food, service, ambiance was amazing!!! This definitely a place you can dine with friends, host a great business meeting, or just sit and enjoy coffee while working. The espresso martini's are the best!!! My wife and I sat at the bar; loved every minute of it. Our bartender Skylar was amazing. I'd highly recommend.
This place is AMAZING! The food, service, and ambiance are all 5 stars. First, a huge shout-out to my waiter, Ben. He was doing some next-level multitasking and didn't skip a beat. Even after we paid the bill and sat for a while chatting, he noticed my water was empty and still came over to refill it. Now the food. We started with the guacamole and the artichoke and ricotta dip--both were creamy and delicious. I ordered a sangria and it was perfection in a glass. Super refreshing in this Phoenix heat. For my entree, I got the Harvest Bowl and added steak. The steak was delightfully flavorful and cooked perfectly. The combination of ingredients sounded like a lot on paper, but it all went together perfectly. My taste buds were dancing! I tried a bit of everyone's meal and every single dish was a winner. I only wish they had a cheesecake option for dessert, but that's not stopping me from giving them a well-deserved 5 stars!
The Henry is one of my favorite restaurants in the more upscale category. I've come here several times and the food and service is always amazing. Recently I came for brunch for a friend's birthday and got the harvest bowl which was packed with veggies and flavor! We sat on the lovely patio and there's plenty of parking.
First time trying The Henry and was very good. I was actually surprised by the flavor on the enchiladas. Also by the price for only 2 of them. 4 would have been perfect. Aside from that my family really enjoyed their food. Service was very professional and friendly. Very clean and upscale looking establishment. Will definitely come back.
Love the ambiance, CS, Drinks, Food and Servers. Very Clean, not overly noisy, great outdoor patio, just a beautiful spot to entertain or wine & Dine. Jenna our Server was fantastic, very knowledgeable of the menu, foods, ingredients, drinks, etc. I don't know if I have ever met a Server this professional, Great Job, Jenna you made the experience a 10 Star visit. We used to go here quite a bit and it was always hit or miss, so we stopped going for a while. We decided to try it out again. Unfortunately, it was not the best experience. They seated us at a table that looked like it wasn't cleaned. Crumbs all over the table and chairs. We had to ask someone to clean it before we could sit. Our server was not super friendly. She did the job, but did not go above or beyond. They were out of the seabass tacos that I wanted and when we asked why because it was before noon, she said "I don't know, I'm just the messenger." The didn't even offer to find out about it. That being said, the person sitting next to us was eat the fish tacos so just have gotten the last one? The food took a really long time to come out. Our server didn't let us know, but one of the managers came was nice enough to come out and apologize. She said the kitchen was having a hard time keeping up. We've seen this place busier than it was this time, so not sure why they were having such a hard time. Unfortunately, by the time the food came out, the ahi tuna green curry dish and hot honey chicken sandwich/fries were cold. The Korean skirt steak was also cooked more than medium. The harvest bowl was just not good. The dish is completely bland, they need to redo that one. The manager came back, so we let her know and she nicely comp'd us for the steak.
A classy "thank you" dinner for the extended family. The Henry is one of those reliable spots in Arcadia that manages to nail the "upscale but casual" vibe perfectly--and the service saved the night before we even sat down. The Service (And Our Mistake): We had reservations, but due to a mix-up, we accidentally drove to the wrong location first! We called ahead in a panic to let them know we were running late. In true Sam Fox hospitality style, they were incredibly understanding and held our table without issue. * Parking: Since we had an early reservation, we found self-parking to be a breeze, though this lot can get tight later in the evening. The Atmosphere: The open kitchen layout and the bar buzzing right next to it create a great energy. Surprisingly, the volume was manageable; despite being a large table, we could actually hold a conversation without shouting, which is rare for a place this busy. The Drinks: * Whiskey & Doughnuts (4.25/5): From the holiday menu. Think of it like a cinnamon-forward Old Fashioned served with fresh donut holes on the side. Fun presentation and very tasty. * Super Hi-5 (4.25/5): A tropical leaning cocktail with coconut-washed bourbon and pineapple. Refreshing, well-balanced, and dangerous. * Troublemaker Blend (3.75/5): A solid red blend at a reasonable price point for the table. The Food: * Korean Prime Skirt Steak (3.75/5): Ordered medium-rare and the kitchen nailed the cook perfectly. However, I had a couple of nits. First, the temperature--the rice and steak arrived warm rather than hot. Second, the flavor profile lacked the specific "Korean" punch I expected (marinade or sauce). Fair Warning: Four other people at our table ordered this same dish and absolutely loved it, so my critique on the flavor might just be a personal preference, but I wanted to mention it for the purists out there. * Peanut Butter Fudge Cake (4.25/5): GET THIS. Absolute winner of the night. Rich, decadent, and worth saving room for. Verdict: Great service, excellent vibes for a group, and a strong cocktail program. While the steak didn't quite hit the specific flavor notes I was looking for personally, the staff's flexibility with our arrival ensures we will be back.

Our first visit to celebrate hubby's birthday was made so special by Janae's recommendation of the Warm Croissant Bread Pudding as a birthday treat! Janae was very accommodating, warm and friendly, we will always remember her for this great first experience and hope to see her again and again on our next visits. Grady also was equally lovely -that quality service seemed to speak for the rest of the staff. We enjoyed the Flower Child Scramble with extra egg and kale with a side of toast & cream cheese added. We sat in a booth across the bar and enjoyed the open yet private space. All in all a fun and memorable experience. read more

My friends and I came here for the first time last weekend to celebrate our friend's birthday and we had a great experience for the most part. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and very helpful when it came to giving suggestions on what to order since their menu has a lot of food and drink choices. We ended up getting their short rib dumplings as an appetizer and I got their Korean skirt steak as my entree. My friends got their braised pork, sea bass, and pasta as their entrees. My skirt steak was delicious! It was cooked very well and the fried rice it was served over was very good. Their portions were great too. They gave the right amount of food where I could finish the whole dish without leftovers and feel full. I also got a chance to try some of the other entrees and they were all very flavorful as well. The only one that was a bit of a let down was their sea bass. It was seasoned well but was definitely a bit overcooked to the point the fish was pretty dry. Otherwise the other food was great! And since it was my friend's birthday they gave us some of their key lime pie and that tasted great as well. The restaurant is fairly upscale and definitely more of a place to go for a date or company outing. It's pretty dim inside so you might need your flashlight to see the menu. But overall I think this is pretty solid restaurant and would recommend. read more

Wow! What a friendly staff and warm trendy atmosphere! Went with the family for happy hour and even though we all live relatively close I can't believe it was some of our first times. Classic old fashion with orange oil was very good! Guacamole was extremely fresh and their chips were thick and flavorful (very filling) umami Brussels Sprouts was a no for me, Brussels Sprouts are one of favorite vegetable but with the soy sauce in my opinion they were very salty! Parmesan truffle fries also salty but had great flavor. Short rib potstickers were fantastic! Soft and flavorful! Spice tuna and crispy rice was like a roll, good flavor! The real deal is the burgers for $12....usually on happy hour burgers it's slightly bigger than a slider but these were full burgers and they were happy to accommodate some things not listed on the menu. Service was amazing I forget the name of our server he was fantastic and shout out to manager Casey! Incredible relaxing experience! read more

A friend stopped in for dinner on a Thursday night and the place was packed. The parking lot was full and the way people drive, almost got in 3 accidents due to people not paying attention. We were able to get a couple spots at the bar and the bartender greeted us quickly. He suggested a great cab for my friend while I had a Pinot Grigio. For dinner I had the hamburger with Parmasan truffle fries and my friend had the short ribs. Both were delicious. I was disappointed the club sandwich is not on the dinner menu. read more

The restaurant is very pretty and the staff is attentive without being annoying. The ambience is great! Unfortunately, the food is a bit average and not worth the price; this is definitely a place you come to for the vibes and not the food. Oh my goodness what a beautiful place , I wish we were blessed enough in Camarillo CA , to have a place like that but apparently not! The story went like this, my better half was a trip to Phoenix AZ ... and because I couldn't join him I asked at his return to come back with the best pastry he could find to soothe my sadness! And so he did!! Came back with 2 huge pastries, 1 was like "morning bread"- a sweet bread with white chocolate on top and the second one, the most heavenly sweet thing ever: a square Danish stuffed with vanilla custard and topped with real cranberry sauce/jam! And the craziest part: they were sitting in the fridge for like 2 days because I've totally forgotten about them and when I've reheated them they were still fresh and amazing ! Imagine to eat there and enjoy the whole awesome experience ...look at the menu, it's fabulous!!! Superb! I have been here twice now, once for my son's graduation and once for my birthday dinner. The service is impeccable. The staff is polite and knowledgeable. The food is wonderful - I highly recommend the skirt steak if you love steak. The scallops were also very, very good as was the short rib. Popped back here for happy hour and a quick bite. As always, the location, service and quality of the food and drinks are excellent. We had the spicy tuna and crispy rice roll. We turned up at 4:15 and were able to sit and order pretty much immediately. Always a winner in our eyes. read more
Came here for Sunday brunch and enjoyed the whole experience, from the ambiance, to the service and food, everything was great. The place was absolutely packed, but luckily we had reservations - something that seems like a must for brunch. We ordered the Blackened Fish Tacos and Rancheros Breakfast Bowl to share. The amount of food was more than enough for two hungry people to share. We sadly weren't able to finish everything no matter how hard we tried, and we did try because damn was that Rancheros Breakfast Bowl amazing. The food was super flavorful, while both items were really good, I would go back here specifically to get that Rancheros Bowl again. For the most part prices were on par with other nicer brunch spots, the tacos were a little pricier than I'd normally expect to spend on fish tacos, but that's probably the coastal Californian in me. read more

The interior decoration is chic. The cashier was personable and helpful. They did get the size of my coffee wrong, but they quickly fixed it. I did notice the Wildflower didn't have enough syrup though as the barista had to act on the spot to hand me the 20oz drink. So I think they need to be more focused and precise with the details. read more

We were told about this place a few years ago. We finally made the time to go check it out. We met with a friend that was visiting from TN. We were very happy with everything. I couldn't decide on what I wanted so I got shrimp tacos and a crab cake. The tacos were very good but to spicy for me. I'm very sensitive to spice. My husband said they weren't spicy to him. The shrimp were cooked perfectly!! The crab cake was amazing and I will order the next time we go back. My husband go the quiche and said it was really good and he has since talked about it. Our friend had the salmon and bagel which she also enjoyed,(Not pictured). My cocktail was also outstanding. I do t remember the exact name of it but it was a coffee martini. The service was also outstanding. Our server was very patient with us. We were chatting and catching up with our friend and they gave us that time before ordering. The restaurant was clean and the decor was really nice. I loved that they had booths and tables. The fork tie clips were one of my favorite touches. We will be returning, we live in Surprise so we'll have to plan when we're in the area. read more

There is no better place to unwind after a relaxing massage than another happy place for me - The Henry. I ordered a Ceasars salad with add on in my case chicken and requested that the egg be cooked medium easy but not poached. The salad is extraordinarily yummy and my server was excellent because she listened to my requests and suggested the best way for me to tweak the Ceasars salad as listed on the menu. We came here for lunch on a recommendation. The Henry looks good from the outside and the inside. We were sat at a four top for two of us. Restaurant was lively and the service from our waiter was superb. In fact he made our lunch perfect. The pasta was delicious, the olive oil cake was to die for. The rest of the food was good but I find them a little salty. Over all I would return to The Henry again and again. Oh our waiter also but my coffee in a Togo cup for me. A very nice touch. Stopped by for lunch today with a girlfriend to celebrate her new job! Well, really it was just the interview- so as was lunch instead of dinner! First thing- lunch time parking is a nightmare!! They do have valet, and the valet line is crazy! So once you finish working on your patience, you go get in line to wait for a table. That part isn't too bad because they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Today was just a little nippy, so they had the outdoor heaters going! Yaay! I ordered the seared tuna chop salad- it's my favorite since they took away Houston's down the road. It was delicious! So many things in the salad just a few pieces of tuna- but I'm not complaining. My friend got the Brussel sprouts, which were really good, and she also got the hummus. It was so pretty I forgot to take pictures of it. My bad! Anyhow- definitely go! The Henry never disappoints! Great atmosphere and excellent service. I definitely recommend making a reservation. We sat at the bar because it was a last minute decision and they didn't have any tables when we arrived. I had the rancheros bowl and it was good as always. I also had an espresso martini. read more

The Henry is a nicely decorated, chic and fun restaurant that serves tasty dishes. They have amazing appetizers and my favorites are spicy tuna rice and the beef dumplings (not pictured because we ate too fast!) For main course, we got the burger and Scottish salmon. The salmon is perfectly cooked, medium temp and very flavorful. The side of fried rice was just okay for us but we are also very picky on our fried rice. The bestest part of all was the molten butter cake which felt more like a sponge cake with toffee flavored drizzle and ice cream on top. I did not doubt that this would be out of this world as I have been here for their breakfast and brunch which is also amazing. The pastries are to die for! I've always been a fan of the Henry. This visit was a brunch on the patio for a birthday. It was an excellent day, so naturally, the patio looked and felt glorious! We ordered the Korean prime skirt steak, all American burger, and the harvest bowl. All of these were very well made. With flavors, ingredients, and seasonings well thought out. At first, the portions looked small, but we were stuffed by the end of it! The waitress was very friendly and kept her visits frequent but concise with enthusiasm. Overall, we had nothing bad to say! I recommend it for any type of occasion! read more

Came out to Phoenix for our family vacation and my brother lives in the area. Him and his partner love coming to The Henry for drinks and food so he wanted to take us for dinner. Walked in and the place is really open and the ambiance is really nice. I love the dark aesthetic and the whole mood. Definitely a vibe as they say lol Decided to go with the braised short ribs over mashed potatoes and a side of Mac and cheese. We started out with a crispy rice appetizer and it was SO good. The short ribs were really good but the mashed potatoes were stellar! Finished dinner with the key lime brûlée and I'm still dreaming about it! Overall the food was fantastic and I'd love to come back for brunch! (Which I've heard so much about!) read more
The Henry is aesthetically pleasing inside and out. The rich colors and plush seating are posh and welcoming. The menu offers breakfast thru dinner with plenty of variety for different palates. Make a reservation or just enjoy a seat in the lovely coffee lounge area. read more
Very nice spot for dinner. Free parking is provided. I will say the atmosphere is nice but the lighting is very very low. My friend had to use her flashlight to see the menu haha. But this is just the vibe of the place. Food was delicious. We got the whipped ricotta and artichoke dip for starters. Come with a side of bread. This was different for me. It's the consistency of sour cream and taste was unique. Really enjoyed the short rib entry that came with mashed potatoes. It was soft, succulent and very tasteee. Side of mac and cheese was ok. For dessert we dabbled in the bread pudding, chefs kiss. It comes with ice cream on top. Service was a bit slow but waitress kept us updated and was very knowledgeable and interested in how we enjoyed the food. read more

Honestly my FAVORITE place to be. Food is absolutely amazing, yet the servers from the bar can be slightly rude. But this place has amazing coffees (in all kinds). Bowls, avocado toast, sandwiches, and etc. everything is absolutely amazing here. My personal recommendation is Korean Prime Skirt Steak &Seared Ahi Tuna salad (from the lunch menu) The place is a bit noisy but not like a bar-loud level. It is loud enough to talk loud but quiet enough to do the full conversation without yelling. read more

The Henry was so good--both the hot and iced chai were good. We got the California breakfast bowl and the scrambled eggs breakfast, and honestly, both were tasty. Everything tasted fresh and hit the spot. We would totally go back to try other menu items. We sat at the bar because it had a wait. The service was great the waiter gave great suggestions for it being my first time there. read more

They definitely had some vegetarian dishes, but I don't think anything was Vegan. They post the menu on their website.

Yes. The dining area is quite spacious with wide aisles.

Yes they had a reserved party there so, I do believe that you can reserve that area again.

I was on a keto diet so I needed low carb and went with this. Very delicious and creamy. You will not be disappointed.
Are there any vegan (no animal products, no meat, no eggs, no butter, no milk, etc) breakfast options?
You'll have to modify. I went for Saturday brunch and tried the kale salad and it was terrible after modifying. I then got the avocado toast which was ok. I don't recall other options.
