Egg white turkey omelette with breakfast potatoes
    Brian S.

Thought we'd try out a breakfast Brunch place but better than the average. Good looking place and well staffed. We were seated immediately although not having a reservation. Might be best to do that next time. The waitress was kind and informed. I believe her name was Nora. She knew the restaurant's history and where other locs were even in other states. I digress. I got the egg white turkey omelette with breakfast potatoes for a protein hit since I just rode 22 miles on my bike earlier. My wife got a quinoa dish of sorts. Each came in a bowl and were delicious. The breakfast potatoes were on point. My omelette was well stuffed with turkey and cheese, so much so the outside the egg was browned although not to distraction. Afterwards we had a lemon Olive Oil Cake with mascarpone and strawberries Well done. We dined outside and had our dessert inside. We were not disappointed at all. Well done, bravo!

If this was a cafe they would have my order memorized and placed the minute they saw my face. I always get the Scottish salmon with fried rice substitution no mushroom. Found it when I was more restrictive and had a hard time with most meals and it's stuck till now.

Came here for our work team dinner. Sat on the patio and it was beautiful. Loved the comfortable benches, the water spraying in the air, the lights, and the chill vibe. Artichoke ricotta dip - the chips it came with were a hit. Tuna on crispy rice - winner! Potstickers - standard, nothing outstanding. Korean skirt steak - 5/5 entree. 5-6 strips of meat with an Asian flair to it. Lemon olive oil cake - lightest dessert, so delicious. Mac and cheese - good side! Service was on top of everything. Great experience.

Went here for an early breakfast with a girlfriend. The patio is spacious and elegant. Our server was lovely. Brought dogs and they were given ice water. My omelet was very good and potatoes had a nice crispiness. The espresso martini was one of the best I've had in the valley. Will definitely try coffee next time.

The Henry has some of my favorite food ever. The salmon is the absolute perfect pairing of flavors, and sauces. The beets paired with the crunchy nuts and pesto make it a 10 out of 10 literally one of my favorite meals and all of Phoenix .Service is always phenomenal. The restaurant is always busy. I've also tried the mac & cheese here and it was delicious. The lemon cake for dessert is moist light and a refreshing way to end a perfect meal. The one downside is that they got rid of the fig mules, and those were my favorite especially on happy hour. Please bring those back. I loved them.

They have valet parking for free as well as a pretty big lot, although this place gets really packed! Ambience is everything here and the design inside is very chic and modern and really really cute! They have a big patio for outdoor seating as well as a bar that seats a lot of people, and a pretty brig restaurant with two huge rooms for private event events. When we were there there was a bridal shower that was being held. Every single thing on the menu is so good and I couldn't wait to go back and try something new. I ordered the pomegranate hibiscus spritz, and my boyfriend has a pineapple guava mimosa. Both were really good, but the spritz was better! we ordered the turkey dip which was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Its served hot with a juice sauce on the side and a mild horseradish it was delicious! We also ordered the Aji tuna chop salad, which had an amazing flavor to it, and it was really really good and fresh. The bathrooms are beautiful and look like a work of art and I'm very very clean. All of the staff is super friendly, helpful and very nice.. We checked out the bakery on the way out and got a couple of danishes and I can't wait to try the fruit one because it looks so good! Highly recommend there are multiple locations so anytime you see the Henry go in! You have to try this place!

Loved checking out this location of the Henry. I've been to the other location many times so couldn't wait to see how this one compares. I love the outside covered patio area. I think this outdoor space beats the outdoor space of the other location. My server Taylor was super nice and made my visit a great one. I got the Chicken & Avocado Salad. It's truly the best salad on earth. You'll thank me later! I want to stop again to try their grab and go coffee shop. The Henry hits every time, and is always on my bucket list when I come to town. So glad they're opening more locations!

Harvest Bowl with steak - delicious.

I enjoy The Henry - the food and drinks are consistent and the ambiance is nice. I usually get the Korean skirt steak dish but lately I've been ordering the harvest bowl with steak - the veggies have a nice char and I enjoy the pesto and cashew harissa. My only complaint is that the spicy tuna crispy rice is good but the price is pretty ridiculous for the actual serving size. I've always had good service and have enjoyed my meals here.

This location on Central needs some help in the kitchen. How you going to over cook a hamburger. Service was a 10 and the ambience was a 10 . The Henry is always good just bad burger

    Seared Tuna Chop*

I've been to both locations of The Henry and I think this one is much better! First, the service was so great. We had an older person in our group who couldn't handle the loud noises of the main restaurant, and our server was great at finding a quieter, accesible table. The food was really great too. I thought the seared tuna salad I had was one of the top 5 best salads I've ever had! The dressing was well coated on every piece of lettuce but not overpowering! And the tuna was perfectly soft! I'd love to come here again.

My breakfast was the Flower Child Scramble with eggs, roasted mushroom & brussels sprout, romanesco, kale, parmesan! Came with roasted potatoes on the side. I also ordered a side of crispy bacon. Everything thing came out well-proportioned, warm, and delicious. I wish I lived closer since I was visiting that day in Phoenix, but the rest of the lunch and dinner menu looked so interesting! Comfortable seating (we were in the booth), and quiet where you don't have to yell to hear the person across from you. One thing to note is to walk over and visit the pastry shop next door, pick what you want, and then go back and let your waitress know. Very delicious pastries. I got a berry Danish, and my friend got a red velvet small cake (moist). The Danish had lovely layers of pastry (think croissant).

The Henry always delivers an amazing meal and I can't recommend it enough! Their short rib is always a huge hit! We had some amazing drinks the espresso martini is so cute with an H on top and very tasty!

Unequivocally a cool spot. Came to The Henry mid morning for coffee. $4.50 for self serve, I thought it was a joke when I was rung up. When I went to serve myself coffee, it was cold, dribbling out. Regretted my choice. Not a coffee option for me.

So when you walk in you grab your tray or to go container and some tongs and then you can meander around a look at the goods before making your selection which you then get yourself. Everything looked so good I was practically drooling! After making my selection of an almond croissant and a coffee cronut I made my way up to the counter. I also ordered a korean iced milk coffee -- no idea what it was but sounded good! I took everything to go and when I got home I jumped right into the croissant -- it was almost as hard a rock! It tasted good but it also tasted a day old, which was very very disappointing! The coffee cronut was good too -- it had many layers and was very rich. The coffee cream on it was average -- just basically didn't taste as good as it looked. Unfortunately I can never get those calories back, LOL. The Korean iced milk coffee was good but honestly couldn't taste a difference from regular coffee. Overall the presentation was top notch but the actual tasting experience was less than average. I love how they collaborate with local businesses and bring unique flavors to their pastries. I normally get their weekend specials which change every weekend. My favorite so far has been this past week which was the guava cheesecake cruffin. As someone with Cuban parents who lived in Miami for years, this tasted like home in the best way. I'm sad it's only a one-time deal; otherwise, I'd be there every weekend to get one, and I'd be as big as a house haha. I simply can't say enough good things about this place, my only complaint was that the first time I went they put my cruffin (not in photo) in a paper bag so all the filling ran out on the paper bag so super messy and it was so hard to eat, I would assume they ran out of boxes that day but they should have mentioned that before I got one otherwise I would have eaten it there. The chocolate croissants are good. The almond croissants don't taste like almond at all. The quiches are so so. We got the apricot special and the fluffy apricot topping tasted off to me so I didn't eat the rest of it. All the other things that we've had there are just mediocre and nothing really special to warrant the high prices. The service people at this location need to take a lesson in hospitality and courtesy. They all exude the attitude that they can't be bothered to answer any questions. And they rush you through the line. Every time we come to JL we eat inside and never want our food to be boxed up. However, the default is to just box everything up. When we tell them that we are actually eating inside and would like things warmed up they roll their eyes at us or give us attitude like they couldn't be bothered. The last six times we have been there they have been out of Babka. This is not sold during the week and only on Saturdays and Sundays. They say that it is a specialty item and they sell other specialty items on Fridays, but for some reason, not the babka. And it's not able to be ordered online. After six times of going and not having it available, and with The attitude of the staff working here, we've decided to not come back to this location. I just find a different pastry shop to go to in Phoenix. It's highly overpriced for what you get. Many of the items are overly sweet and are starting to taste mass produced. I got a blended chai, asiago bagel with cream cheese, and cinnamon roll. I like super sweet drinks and read that the chai can be spicy so I asked for it to be sweetened; I might try it without next time because it was plenty sweet and the best chai I've had in Phoenix. Also the best bagel I've had here - fresh, super cheesy, perfect balance between soft and cheesy. The cinnamon roll was because they didn't have cupcakes but it worked out. It was soft and smothered in incredible cream cheese frosting. I live within a block of 4 coffee shops downtown and will happily drive here from now on for my weekend treat. Plus, from their Instagram, I support their values and advocacy. A new favorite!

Not to mention, plenty of parking in the back, easily accessible and near the entrance. I ordered a brown sugar sage latte with oat milk. I forgot to ask for half sweet, but no need for the special order because the flavor was well balanced and not overly sweet! Well crafted flavors, I'd totally get it again. Working here was awesome too. Music was not too loud or distracting. Everyone here spoke at a respectful volume. I'm coming back next time!

Fantastic Atmosphere and Workspace in Midtown, but Mind the Peak Hours…read more My friend and I visited this cafe on a mid-week afternoon looking for a productive spot to get some remote work done, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Logistically, midtown traffic in this area is a well-known hurdle, but the dedicated parking lot located directly behind the building makes arriving by car much easier. Inside, the design and atmosphere are an absolute vibe. The mismatched furniture, abundance of indoor plants, and view of the green canopy outside provide a perfect, refreshing escape from the summer heat. The menu is varied and high-quality. I ordered a matcha latte, which was excellent and refreshing, while my friend opted for a lunch sandwich and a latte. For true coffee enthusiasts, they also sell specialty house-roasted coffee beans retail, including a Guatemalan Antigua and another select house blend. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating tailored for focus and productivity. While the pricing is slightly higher than your average coffee shop, the exceptional atmosphere and amenities justify the cost. One quick tip for remote workers: The environment shifts noticeably after 4:00 PM. The space can become quite loud with patrons taking phone calls or conducting 1-on-1 meetings at adjacent tables. If you plan to work through the late afternoon, I highly recommend bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones to remain undisturbed.

Listen up, David Lynch and Twin Peaks nerds! A coffee shop…read morenamed after a fictional bar in Twin Peaks, serving homemade waffles and locally roasted coffee? Welcome to Bang Bang Coffee in Downtown Phoenix! Besides the name and logo, the menu is full of nods to the series, with drinks named Laura Palmer, Laura's Latte, the Red Room, Log Lady, etc. IYKYK. And naturally, the drip coffee is described as "damn fine coffee," in honor of Agent Cooper. The local family who owns the shop lives close enough to ride their bicycles there, and their goal was to preserve the neighborhood atmosphere where baristas know their regulars and people gather to chat over coffee. Having experienced the super-friendly staff firsthand, I'd say they're doing a damn fine job. Note: it's a walk-up coffee window with shaded outdoor seating, rather than a traditional indoor cafe. Plan accordingly, as we live in a city where being outside is not always pleasant. Thankfully the more pleasant weather is right around the corner! (And for the record, you don't have to be a Twin Peaks fan to enjoy this place. It's perfectly charming and likable in its own right!)

My friend and I were getting attacked by flies lol. We ordered a cheddar jalapeño bagel, peach mango tea, and the brown sugar cinnamon latte. Everything was pretty good!! The bagel was full of flavor, soft, and chewy--all good things in a bagel. The tea was pretty simple but refreshing and the coffee was strong and creamy! The bagels did sell out really fast though as my friend and I got there around 9:30 AM and they only had one flavor left. Overall, I would definitely go back since they have so many coffee flavors but I do wish they had extended hours as they close pretty early.
