    Veggie frittata

Had a wonderful brunch with a friend and everything from the delicious food, to the kind and attentive service, and comfortable seating were spot on. Food: The chicken and waffles were so good! The potato hash that included sweet potatoes made it all that yummy and I love the style of waffles they use, and the chicken was nice and tender! My friend had the veggie frittata and enjoyed it as well. Service: Our waitress we so nice and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Ambiance: Cool lighting fixtures and pillows on some booths make it a fun vibe inside, as well as comfortable. Will be back!

From the service to the food. Everything was great. Not pictured was the Not your Boyfriend's cheese fries (delish) and the sampler platter. I typically never order burgers out but I'm so glad that I did because it was one of the best I've ever had. We will definitely go back.

Food was great and service was too! We decided to head out to dinner, it was late on a Saturday and to our surprise Grey Goose was open ! We had a good experience another time for a lunch so we were pleasantly surprised to see they served dinner too! Come out and support your local small businesses.

This was our first time at the new location for Greygoose. We love the open floor plan and decor. It's very spacious and clean. Our Server Sam was very nice. We were a little disappointed with the seating. We were a party of eight and they took us to two separate tables 2 people in our party had to sit away from the main group. We were not even asked if we minded splitting up we were just led to two separate tables. It was a little awkward. We also requested a specific Server, Sadie. We were told that we could not have Sadie as she was on another party. We did see other parties arrive in groups of eight and 10 these parties were all set together, not separated. The food was good. But they were auctioning it off and some people got the wrong food. We had the mimosa bottle service, which was very nice. My husband had the shrimp and grits, I had the fried chicken Benedict, my niece! had the breakfast burrito, my nephew had the stuffed French toast, and my other friend had a sandwich, but it was the wrong sandwich and he ate it anyway. The baby had the scrambled eggs. We were all pretty much happy with our food. We will go back again next time we hope we get Sadie.

We were met by friendly staff and seated comfortably. The accommodations I would describe as modest yet comfortable. The menu had many unique items that reflects a fusion of classic southern cuisine and contemporary American fare. Our servings were ample and delicious and the servers were gracious and attentive. Worth a visit!!

Advertised buffet menu, but some advertised items were not available.

My daughters treated me to brunch here today for Mother's day, when they made the reservation they were not aware that it was a buffet only. When you go on their website the menu change is not advertised on their home page, you have to click on events to see this information, so this review is not based on their normal menu. With that being said my very first recommendation is, changes like this should 100% be advertised on the home page of your website, especially if the normal menu will not be available. The restaurant is located off Mallory St, so there is only street parking available. The restaurant was very clean, bright and spacious inside. The wait staff was very friendly and checked on us throughout our visit. The Mother's day buffet was $45/pp plus 20% gratuity. On their website it state parties of 6 or more may be subject to 20% automatic gratuity, but we were a party of 3 and it was still included. The buffet included: an assortment of pastries & bagels, a house salad tossed in a vinaigrette, tortellini pasta salad, cucumber & tomato salad, fruit salad, scrambled eggs with cheese, potato casserole, pre-made/frozen French toast sticks, some kind of chicken (didn't look appetizing), ham, pork sausage links, turkey sausage patties, salmon cakes, tomato & spinach quiche and biscuits & gravy. My first complaint in reference to the buffet in my opinion it was over priced for the options offered, our bill for 3 people was $196 after tax & automatic gratuity. We could have went to Golden Corral for half the price for the same food offering. To justify a $45/pp price there should have been some kind of premium meat or seafood included. The menu online listed shrimp and grits but that was not a buffet item along with a few other missing items advertised. My second complaint is, there was absolutely no labeling on the food. After trying to guess what each item was, I finally asked my daughter to find a staff members due to food allergies and restrictions. The overall taste of the food was basic. The texture of the salmon cake was off and mushy. My favorite item was the house salad. I honesty was not impressed and nothing stood out enough to make me want to venture through the tunnel from Virginia beach to come back here.

Great apps! Fried green tomatoes, crab dip, and pork belly!

We just had to try this place. Everyone has been speaking about it. When we walked in, we were immediately welcomed, the place was quaint, and the staff were super friendly. The appetizers were great, but the main dishes were a bit underwhelming. The biscuit was big and flat and tasted just okay. The potatoes that came on the side could not be replaced with another side, and they were not the best. The eggs tasted and looked like powder eggs. I really wanted to try this place. I may try it again because I really want to like it.

    Fried Green Tomatoes

Fantastic food and super friendly staff. The fried green tomatoes and delicious! Also enjoyed the lavender lemonade. Highly recommend this place

    Southern sampler, Buttermilk Fried Oysters

What a great concept! The space is absolutely beautiful! You can tell the owners put so much thought and effort into every detail, from the floors and tables to the art and lighting. It's open-concept yet still incredibly cozy, and we were able to enjoy our conversation without overhearing other diners. Even the bathrooms are pristine, and I love the layout so there's no wait for the women's room. We were greeted right away by the friendliest white-haired gentleman (wish I could remember his name!), and our server, Trevor, was wonderful, warm, attentive, and spot-on with his recommendations. We started with the Southern Sampler and Firecracker Fried Oysters, both fantastic. For mains, we had the Mother Clicker, the steak, and the fried chicken. Presentation, flavor, portions... all perfection. 15/10! If I could give it 200 stars, I would!

Fried Green Tomatoes with Pimento Cheese and their own Pepper Relish

I'm a work traveler and have been here twice. The food and service have been awesome both times. The first time I had an Old Fashioned and the Fried Chicken that came with cheesy grits and sautéed greens. Yum! I also took back a chocolate cupcake. The second time was yesterday and I had another Old Fashioned that was muddled and Fried Green Tomatoes to start. I was tempted to get the chicken again but chose the Shrimp and Grits instead. Everything was delicious! I got a piece of Mississippi Mud Cake to take with me. I love this place!

It's high-end, which I barely touch due to pricing, but it does not hurt to try something new. Let's see how the evening went. After our entire party arrived, we were all promptly seated. Inside, the decor is perfect. From the bar to the dining area, everything was spotless. You can tell the staff really cares about keeping the place tidy. And they had New Orleans-style music playing through the sound system. Very relaxing. After looking through the menu, I was ready to place my order. I chose their fish special, which was salmon with veggies and a sauce (forgot the name). This dish was very good. It was probably the best cooked salmon I've ever had. When you see seafood with the perfect crust and a lot of flavor, you're in heaven. It did have a small bone and I felt it lacked the amount of squash and zucchini, but again, a wonderful meal. There was one situation which resulted in only a 4-star review. Out of curiousity, I saw on Facebook that they offered $5 discounts. I did let my party know and we were all ready to use them when the bill was ready. But the staff told us the discount was to be used on a table rather than an individual ticket. When we looked both on Facebook and our personal emails, none of that verbage was mentioned. Not trying to sound harsh, but please be sure to state every detail foe customers. We do want to find ways to save some cash out of our wallets. Except for the discount mishap, the visit turned out well. I can say I'll be back to give them anothee go-around. Till next time :)

After a couple minutes, no one greeted us so I had to literally find someone to seat us. After I walked over to get someone's attention, a server found us a seat and wiped down the table for us. We were given some time to look over the menu and we decided to start with drinks and appetizers. We ordered the Dolce Vita Margarita, a Whiskey Sour and the Tuna Bites, ordered medium. The drinks were okay and the Tuna Bites were actually pretty good, but unfortunately, some were cooked well done while others were slightly medium rare. For our entrees, we chose the Crab Cake Dinner with Girl Sprouts & Mashed Potatoes and the Rasta Pasta. The Rasta Pasta came out first and had great flavor but it was lacking that jerk seasoning taste that you would get from traditional "Rasta Pasta". My sides were then brought out and the Girl Sprouts were great but the Mashed Potatoes definitely needed some salt. I was then served a Crab Cake Sandwich, which I didn't order, so I had to wait another 10 mins for my Crab Cakes, which came out a little burnt. Overall, I wish I can say I had a better experience. We also had to wait quite a while for our server to bring over some waters. She was very nice but just kept forgetting. This spot is very cute and has a nice vibe so it could've just been an off night but I'm not sure if I would return.

The clams were a little chewy and it lacked flavor; needed a few more dashes of salt at the least. The seafood Mac and Cheese had potential. The crab meat on top looked enticing. The noodles were cooked to perfection. But the flavor was also lacking. It was not cheesy enough to call a Mac and cheese and again needed more salt and/or other seasonings. There also wasn't much seafood to boast about. Maybe a scallop or 2, a very small quantity of shrimp....the crab meat and roll were the highlight. 3 STARS (for this visit). The service was GREAT! Attentive, fast, and friendly. But I was disappointed with this dish. I'll be back. I'll get my crab cake!

She tells me the whole meal was very good with the potatoes being the flavorful standout. As for me, I had The Lumberjack. Wow was it good. It was smashbrowns topped with 3 eggs your way, fried chicken breast, sausage gravy, and a buttermilk biscuit on the side.
