Hands down one of the coolest coffee houses in Hampton Roads! I would likely have never known this place existed without my coffee passport. It's tucked away on Fort Monroe - a little off the beaten path for me, but well with the visit. Google maps had me coming from the back side of the building but once you find your way around, there is ample parking and some outdoor seating for nice days. Like any converted firehouse the only windows are from the large roll-up doors. The inside is cozy with plenty of comfy seating. They offer free Wi-Fi and activities for little ones including lots of fire trucks to play with so this would be a nice spot for families. Already planning to bring my family in for a stop on the way to Williamsburg. Plenty of coffee and non-coffee options plus seasonal specials and tons of flavor choices, including sugar free. I opted for a sugar-free dark chocolate latte which was delicious - perfect level of sweetness and just the right temperature. I also ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on naan bread. They have multiple cheese and other bread options. The egg was a little over seasoned but flavor was good. Compared to the major chains and other independent coffee shops, prices here are reasonable. Overall a great visit with welcoming and helpful staff. Looking forward to a trip back!

A unique spot with great coffee! My go-to place to take people when they would come out go visit. When you're waiting for your coffee, take a look around the firehouse and check out the cool decor on the walls. On nice days, I loved going in, grabbing a coffee, then sit outside for a while before walking around Fort Monroe. Lots of people bring their dogs too (prob for the same reason as me!) On rainier/colder days, they'd close the garage doors which made the inside cozier, with games available that you can play with friends. My fave coffee shop in the Hampton/NN area!

I went in after a walk. I ordered an iced butter pecan latte with almond milk and a honey butter croissant. I was short about a dollar (I didn't want to use my card) so I took off the croissant. They were so sweet. They had already made the croissant so they gave it to me for free! It was a very sweet gesture. For that, they get 5 stars because they understand great customer service. I'll definitely be back to try their ice cream. Their cafe is nice with limited seating. However, their outside patio is very inviting and nice

I love this coffee shop . The food is always good. The bacon egg croissant has me in a chokehold! The staff are always warm and welcoming. And the vibes you really can't resist. If you wanna be in or outside the options are there !

LOVE THIS PLACE! Ive had the pulled pork sandwich so many times and let me just tell you it wad incredible and so are the pastries. Kaylas customer service was incredible, some of the best i have ever received. She recommended an apple turnover and it did NOT disappoint. Im pretty picky about my coffee but i recieved a wonderful less sweet extra shot Lavender blueberry hot latte. It was PERFECT! Thank you Kayla!

I've been to this little spot plenty of times and decided to come on my day off, it's always so cozy and comfy in there. The croissant was good and my latte needed a lot of mixing but i think thats just bc of the syrups. would recommend to try when in town!

Very cute Fire Department Station themed coffee shop. Their coffee and food were pretty good too. The service is great but not fast so make sure you go when you have some time to relax.

We've come here a few times since moving to Virgina Beach last year! Unique coffee shop in an old firehouse. They have food, baked goods, really good coffee, and Hershey's ice cream. Staff is very friendly and they're dog friendly too! Indoor and outdoor seating. We got the lavender latte, chicken sandwich, and pulled pork sandwich on our most recent visit. Plus chocolate ice cream. Only drawback is there is no bathroom, so just plan for that. Overall, highly recommend!

On our day off, Sophia and I headed here to this little spot located in Fort Monroe. They are located in what was the oldest firehouse for the US Army. The decor inside is priceless. Seating is both inside and outside for your preference. They were even featured for a Friday Flavors segment last year for Channel 13. Question is did it live up to the hype from Yelpers? We were immediately greeted by staff upon entering. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte along with a sausage, egg and cheese croissant. Talk about feeling right at home. The coffee was perfect and the crossaint was very good. Very buttery and came through. Sophia ordered the same and liked it as well. Just like many other places, it looks like we found a new place. Welcoming staff, place that is small and quaint and food and beverages you can enjoy :)

This coffee shop was good and interesting - but not stellar. It's been on my list for a year or so - ever since I discovered it one afternoon roaming around on the old base. It is aptly named bc it's located inside an old brick firehouse and is themed with firehouse decor inside. It has mismatched leather furniture and tables chairs inside and so has a charming hangout vibe to it that I like. They have a much larger menu (with a ton of tea available - which was surprising to me) and ice cream and various other items and pastries for sale. The inside is cute and cozy with plenty of places to sit and hang out. We went basic with just an iced latte the day we stopped in and were in and out pretty quickly. I like the concept and the vibes - coffee was good - but not great.

Fire House Coffee is the hidden gem located on beautiful Ft. Monroe in Hampton. Located inside an old firehouse this coffee shop offers both indoor and outdoor seating and has lots of fire house memorabilia on the walls to explore. In addition to a large offering of both coffee and non-coffee beverages such as smoothies and teas, they have sandwiches, salads, hot dogs and baked goods. We got the build your own breakfast sandwich on croissants with cheese, sausage and Canadian bacon. Both sandwiches were delicious and large enough to be filling. The service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful to us first timers. We sat outside and it was perfect. They are pet friendly as several outdoor diners had their furry friends along.

The event was from 5-7 which was after their usual business hours, but all of the drinks and pastries were still available. Mya was one of baristas, and the owner, Melanie, was also present. All very nice staff! Super friendly, personable, and helpful. I tried the Signature Drink called Drip N Sip. It is a white chocolate mocha with caramel, and I decided to get it frozen. I love that all the drinks can be made hot, iced, or frozen. They have every type of milk including coconut, oat, and almond. They also even have nondairy or dairy whipped cream options! Literally something for everyone. My drink came out very fast despite there being about 15 of us, and it was very good! Drip N Sip is decorated in everything 90s! From my favorite 90s tv shows, to music groups, movies, and tv stations, it is super nostalgic! I love all the artwork and the brightness of the place. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience and I would definitely come back. I think it is neat the owner even allowed the private event! Definitely worth checking out.

They were recently spotlighted by Channel 13 as part of their Friday Flavor segment. It was a no brainer that we stopped by to give them a try. When we walked in, we were both greeted by the staff of two behind the counter. It's a very small cafe with two tables for up to 6 people, a small round table for two and a bar table area. Everything was clean and spotless with decor all over. A welcoming spot for all that comes in. We ordered right at the counter upon walking in. My choice of beverage was a medium sized Forget Me Not (sure it was named after the song from Patrice Rushen) served iced. It's a cinnamon latte with whole milk (my choice) and sea salted caramel toffee. Also, I ordered a sausage and egg croissant and a cheese danish pastry to eat. Everything was really good. All the ingredients for the beverage came together. A little strong, but not too sweet. And the croissant sandwich and pastry really helped myself become full for the morning. A really big thanks to the staff for keeping us satisfied during our visit. We'll definitely come back real soon :)
