My boyfriend and I decided to stop by Pour Girls on a Saturday around 6pm. When we walked in, it was pretty packed so we stood at the front, waiting for someone to greet us. After a couple minutes, no one greeted us so I had to literally find someone to seat us. After I walked over to get someone's attention, a server found us a seat and wiped down the table for us. We were given some time to look over the menu and we decided to start with drinks and appetizers. We ordered the Dolce Vita Margarita, a Whiskey Sour and the Tuna Bites, ordered medium. The drinks were okay and the Tuna Bites were actually pretty good, but unfortunately, some were cooked well done while others were slightly medium rare. For our entrees, we chose the Crab Cake Dinner with Girl Sprouts & Mashed Potatoes and the Rasta Pasta. The Rasta Pasta came out first and had great flavor but it was lacking that jerk seasoning taste that you would get from traditional "Rasta Pasta". My sides were then brought out and the Girl Sprouts were great but the Mashed Potatoes definitely needed some salt. I was then served a Crab Cake Sandwich, which I didn't order, so I had to wait another 10 mins for my Crab Cakes, which came out a little burnt. Overall, I wish I can say I had a better experience. We also had to wait quite a while for our server to bring over some waters. She was very nice but just kept forgetting. This spot is very cute and has a nice vibe so it could've just been an off night but I'm not sure if I would return. read more

It seemed it took a while for her to get just a couple of drinks to us and I ordered the specialty Valentines drink and the cup was not even full and I thought it would've been a little bit prettier from the description. Very good! My group and I (a party of 8) stumbled upon this restaurant the Friday before Christmas. We had intentions of dining in another spot, but it was a bit sketchy so we made a U-turn and walked out. Only a few steps away... Pour Girls! A guest or two weren't too satisfied with their food and drinks, but overall, I was pleased as well as my husband and I suggest you check this place out. Definitely peep their happy hour, this would be something ideal for first timers. My drinks were 50/50. I recommend the regular Old Fashioned. The smokey one has an acquired taste... which you already know, but the one here hmmm nah, I prefer their regular. Now my tuna bites, so delicious 10/10! The atmosphere is inviting and definitely fit right up our alley. Definitely a group atmosphere. But I did notice bar guests as well as larger parties heading upstairs and smaller parties dining in. This is a great, quick brunch spot. My friend loves the shrimp wrap. This visit, I tried the crab cake sandwich-- it was just okay to me. I can't speak for the other girls in there who seemed to give her a hard time or just poked around with no tables.. no tables at all. I don't blame bartender as she had a full bar and looked very attentive to the bar goers. As a server of 10 years and now a cook of 5 years.. I'd never allow ONE server to pick up so much with no help! But HER attentiveness was spot on with us, the tables around us and the parties outside. Queens Way that also holds Venture and Fika Coffeehouse. They're open on Mondays, which is a plus. The wasabi complemented the blackened tuna sandwich wonderfully, the bun was soft, and the fries...they're like steak fries, but not mushy, just the right amount of crisp and well seasoned. I pretty much made my meal off of the fries and saved my sandwich for lunch the next day. There were two drinks that interested me. I tried the Orange Blossom because I love St. Elder. I was expecting a cutesy little wine glass, but I got a regular drink cup full. My cousin said the mango crush was good as well. They also have a mimosa tower that is an equivalent of 4 champagne bottles but you need to have 4 people in your party to get this since its so much alcohol. I went here for Sunday brunch with a group of Approx 11 people. They don't accept reservations and we really wanted to try this particular restaurant but was told there was an hour wait. So after an hour, we were sat upstairs and ordered drinks. I was excited to order the steak and eggs on the menu. I ordered my steak medium. When I received my order, it was completely raw in the inside. I let my waitress know and she did offer to fix it but by the time she came back to the table, I had already ate the eggs and grits. I left the raw steak. Finally, the owner came over and she also offered to fix the steak, but also our group was about to leave. The owner even agreed it was incorrect but instead she rather argue with me and say that "mistakes happen". I understand this but at this point our group was done and ready to go, I was done with the rest of my meal. So at this point, I just asked to have the steak taken off, she said no. Therefore I will never be returning or recommending to any of my friends. As far as the large party, none of us will be returning and will also leave a review. Pour Girls and their sister company Fika Coffeehouse are two of the best businesses on Queens Way. I had a busy day yesterday trying to coordinate a downtown Hampton photoshoot and Pour Girls did a wonderful job helping out not one but two city departments for a city lunch and allowing us to use their outdoor patio area to stage some photos.
