The burger was juicy, cooked exactly right, served on a fresh brioche bun, and topped with fresh ingredients and a delicious smoky mayo. The service was friendly and attentive, the food arrived hot, and the portions were generous. You can tell the staff takes pride in both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. It's easy to see why this restaurant continues to win local awards. If you're anywhere near Yorktown or Newport News, 185 Restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back! There were a lot of people in line to order when we got there, and we were worried it would take a long time, but the orders were coming out pretty rapidly and we didn't wait too long. They do have some coloring books and a puzzle to keep little kids entertained while waiting, which was much appreciated. They also have a small farm shop in the next room with various items for sale.
