We have been missing tangsoyu so much and they are the only one has it, did not disappoint but the sauce could be improved. The serving size is so huge that an half order will be great for two. We also had jajambong and also very good. The location is on a gas station area so when we went not a lot of people good for us but not much for the business. Sami's is still a good Korea restaurant, but the atmosphere is less authentic now compared to a mamasan, back alley restaurant in a small town in Korea as it was 7 years ago. The yaki / dumpling was over fried, beef bulgogi wasn't as flavorful, and the restaurant is missing the smell of Korea. Still a good place to grab Korean, but needs to bring back its authenticness. Korean cuisine is my absolute favorite, so I have been searching for something closer to home. Luckily Sami's is right around the corner on Big Bethel Road and serves up traditional, savory, and delicious food. Prices have increased and will be subject to change as explained to me, but the menu I posted is up to date as of June 2024. Inside has a decent amount of seating space and the noise level inside is minimal, if not quiet. The service provided while we waited was very hospitable and the owner is sweet. Husband ordered kalbi and I ordered pork bulgogi (spicy) costing $51 in total before tip. Both dishes came with banchan and white rice which they used foil to separate from the meat, so you might not see it in the pictures but it's there lol. The portions are just right. My husband has been craving for months, so the kalbi was gone within minutes while I savored every bite of my bulgogi. Flavors were just right and the side dishes complimented both meals perfectly. Sami's has consistently surprised and surpassed my expectations. I've come here a few times; the most recent visit was with my mom. She had the bulgogi, which I've had here before and was delicious. I recommended it to her. I had the bibimbap which was a 10/10. Seriously amazing. I put the kimchi in the bowl along with the sauce too, which made it soooo good. I ate the entire bowl, my sides and my moms sides. It was that good. My mom told everyone about Sami's that day too, she really loved her beef bulgogi. You can definitely taste the wok on the meat. Appetizers were wonderful. I had soft noodles with "meat". There might have been 4 small pieces of beef. My wife's Bulgogi was flavorful but the beef used was substandard with lots of fat/grizzle. I've never had black beans as one of the little bowls of (whatever they are called). They need to offer Asian beers and although they offer Heineken, they never carry it. read more

Very disappointed in the treatment I got while dining here. 1st, waitress was very rude and had no manners, didn't even check up on us not once and completely ignored us the entire time. From the outside, Sami's doesn't look like much. It's located in a small strip mall adjacent to a gas station. Dark tinted windows with blinds. But don't judge a book by it's cover right? This Korean restaurant is legit. I placed an order for pickup from here recently. An order of japchae, two small orders of kimchi and one jiajiang-myeon with the black bean sauce on the side. Their kimchi was very good. My next door neighbor who was based in South Korea for 3 years, tasted the kimchi too and said it gave him a feeling of nostalgia! Good portion size for the price too. Japchae was delicious. And their jiajiang-myeon tasted authentic, though the portion size was a tad small. Overall, Sami's seems pretty good. Food tastes authentic and their customer service was pleasant. I'll be back for more when I crave Korean food. read more

The meal is $17.99 which is a little high in my opinion, only because at other Korean restaurants I typically get more veggies, and fried mandu with my meal. Their food is so tender, satisfying, and flavorful. If you've never had authentic Korean food, this place gets pretty close! The ambiance is always casual and laid back and the staff is always approachable, friendly, and sweet. You can't beat quality service and food. The only issue I have is that the busy nail salon next door makes the parking situation hectic. But, if you can get a spot, it'll be worth the hassle! My mom and I even drove around the block a few times and came back because there was no parking, luckily my family's land is close by so we took a little driving tour.
