The staff was nice and the place was quaint. The soup I got was really good and the Kalbi was good too. The ban Chan was missing flavor though and the mandu was okay. Overall a decent place.

Sami's is still a good Korea restaurant, but the atmosphere is less authentic now compared to a mamasan, back alley restaurant in a small town in Korea as it was 7 years ago. The yaki / dumpling was over fried, beef bulgogi wasn't as flavorful, and the restaurant is missing the smell of Korea. Still a good place to grab Korean, but needs to bring back its authenticness. Service was still good.

Came here while vacationing in Virginia. Ordered 2 hot stone, one cold bibimbap, and tofu soup which came out to ~$60. Food was delicious and came out fast. Good eats!

It's a very small quaint location - it honestly felt like a Korean family setting. The food was absolutely delicious - and the service as full of compliments and plating to encourage us to eat up lol. I will surely be back to experience as this was my first experience at a Korean Restaurant!

Korean cuisine is my absolute favorite, so I have been searching for something closer to home. Luckily Sami's is right around the corner on Big Bethel Road and serves up traditional, savory, and delicious food. Prices have increased and will be subject to change as explained to me, but the menu I posted is up to date as of June 2024. Inside has a decent amount of seating space and the noise level inside is minimal, if not quiet. The service provided while we waited was very hospitable and the owner is sweet. Husband ordered kalbi and I ordered pork bulgogi (spicy) costing $51 in total before tip. Both dishes came with banchan and white rice which they used foil to separate from the meat, so you might not see it in the pictures but it's there lol. The portions are just right. My husband has been craving for months, so the kalbi was gone within minutes while I savored every bite of my bulgogi. Flavors were just right and the side dishes complimented both meals perfectly. Sami's Korean Restaurant hit the spot for us. We'll see you soon!

I love this hole in the wall restaurant. The good is authentic, hot, and fresh. The lady who always serves is always so nice, and goes the extra mile for my kids. She will bring them fruit and snacks. So very nice. Me and my family had a great meal. So good. It's always busy during dinner.

The customer service was lovely, the nice lady helping me with my order was overall welcoming and kind! The food was delicious and the comfortable atmosphere made everything perfect. The prices are fair and the restaurant is well kept. Will definitely be going again, 10/10.

I loved the customer service provided by the ladies. I told her it was my first time there and she explained everything to me pertaining to the menu and the specials they had. The beef bulgogi was very flavorful and tender. It has a slight sweet taste marinated throughout the meat. The dumplings were very good as well. My only complaint is the sauce is a little too salty for me. I would prefer a sweet n sour sauce with that but overall still good! My Dad loved his food as well! Very clean and quiet setting. We were the only ones dining in. Had a few takeout orders while we were there. I will definitely be back!

Sami's has consistently surprised and surpassed my expectations. I've come here a few times; the most recent visit was with my mom. She had the bulgogi, which I've had here before and was delicious. I recommended it to her. I had the bibimbap which was a 10/10. Seriously amazing. I put the kimchi in the bowl along with the sauce too, which made it soooo good. I ate the entire bowl, my sides and my moms sides. It was that good. My mom told everyone about Sami's that day too, she really loved her beef bulgogi. You can definitely taste the wok on the meat. I keep thinking about the food and I plan to go back to get the same dishes and try new things. I highly recommend this Korean restaurant!

Such amazing food!! Personally one of the best Korean food places I've ever been to! The service was so nice the lady working there were so kind to us!

    Jajangmyeon, bulgogi, side dishes.

The ladies are very kind and sweet, and the food was very authentic Korean! I've been looking for my favorite dish, Jajangmyeon, for a long time and they not only had it, but it was the best I've ever had! Highly recommend!

I've been in the industry for over 25 years grew up with the "the best pizza places" in Queens..... blah, blah, and tbh I am kinda a snob too, I know how hard a kitchen is. But I can also tell when a restaurant just puts crap out because if they don't no more job.. but this friggin place has that special something that you can automatically tell that there is actually love put into everything. It's just one of those places. I honestly have not been this amazed by pizza in years. It's all the same. It was like having pizza for the first time again. This is 100% a BOH PLACE. Between the crazy quality of the beer selection and that sauce holy crap I'm going to dream about that damn sauce! I say that this is a restaurant for restaurant people but anyone would be floored by this place. GREAT F'N JOB Just go. Had to buy a hat to represent this great addition to the area Maybe this will help Hilton Village become a destination to eat, drink and bar hop. Who the hell needs 75 architects and lawyers??? Hold the heck up!!!!!…read more WOW. Listen, I really don't give 5 star reviews very often, but Cork and Crust definitely earned it! I came here with a friend after a random Trader Joe's excursion and we were hungry, looking for food that was in the area at ~8:30pm. Boom, enter Cork and Crust (thanks, Yelp!). I will tell you that the location is a bit small, and seating may be a bit tight depending on how many you have in your party and how much food you're ordering. However, there were two of us and we sat at a 2-seater in the back of the restaurant, both ordering pizzas and drinks, and we were fine! We were able to sit wherever we wanted (it wasn't busy, just a few folks in at the time), and the staff was SO SO SO friendly and accommodating. Big time family vibes. Promise and Trish took care of us (and our shenanigans) for the evening, and they were so great! We were so conflicted (mostly my friend LOL) on what to order, so we had lots of questions and just general foolishness. The ladies were so helpful (especially Promise) in literally pulling up a chair and sitting down with us to discuss the menu and answer all of our questions. We ended up ordering the lamb sliders for our appetizer (came with 2), and they were so so good (I am not a lamb fan), although just smidge moist (you have to eat them fast so the meat doesn't soak through the toasted brioche bun). We also both ordered a drink (that I literally cannot remember the name of - Flying Dutchess??? IDK! Don't be mad with me! LOL). But it was somehow like a lemon ricotta cheesecake, but in a cocktail. I can't explain it to you, but you should try it. SO SMOOTH (also from a person who does not like alcohol). It's like a vanilla, earl grey, lemon vibe and it is such an interesting drink with a smooth transition through flavors. 10/10. I ordered the Bianca 5- 'The Anthony Bourdain' Pizza (sub the mortadella because I don't eat pork, with pineapples), and let me tell you somethingggg! That dang gone pizza was SO GOOD. My friend ordered the Bianca 10 (I didn't try this but she said it was delicious). My friend was so impressed by the food and just the experience overall that she asked the ladies if she could talk to the Chef, so he came over (very nice and humble human), and he explained a bit about how they design the menu and what kind of foods they use. So interesting and honestly just such a cool vibe. I will also offer that the restrooms are gender-neutral and clean! They also have baby changing stations in them, and they have feminine products as well (how considerate!) I will DEFINITELY be back here because this place was just so cool. I really enjoyed it, and this is also coming from a person who would NEVER choose pizza as a first option for food! I intend to check out some of the pastas on the next visit!
