Probably the best Mediterranean restaurant thus far. Hummus was delicious and the chicken and beef was tender and well done. The spicy potatoes were also good despite having been a bit cold. Either way --still an overall great experience read more

I went there starving after my plane ride, and the food was amazing. Amazing service and a great environment.

We had a groupon coupon so we tried this place. Was not expecting much due to recent crap groupon offers. We were pleasantly surprised by this place! So it took about 5 minutes for someone to ask for our order and we had to park around the side of the building. The food and service were excellent, huge menu choices and Frank took great care of us. We both had the combo plate with chicken and beef kabobs. The meat was tasty and cooked perfectly, the humus was so good we bought some to take home. I worried that the hookah lounge would detract from the dining experience but we could not hear or smell anything. I will return here. Note: if you received anything less than stellar service, maybe it's you! read more

An amazing hidden gem! You would never know it's here in the middle of an industrial area. Food was amazing! Next time we will have to try out the hookah lounge. read more

This review is on service only. First time here and the service is great! I did not dine inside but i placed a to go order. The nice man who took my order answered all my questions and was extremely welcoming (since it was my first time). The place itself is clean and not crowded and the hookah lounge is connected to a hall so you can walk right next door and have some fun! There are cute lights that line the ceiling and they have tvs for entertainment. I will be back here. I can tell already! read more

Good food, friendly staff and a comfortable, huge hooka lounge with tvs. Great place to catch a game!

This is great Mediterranean food in a location you wouldn't think. I have been coming to this restaurant for about 2 years now and they never disappoint. With friendly service along with an inviting atmosphere you can't go wrong. The chicken kabobs are my favorite but all the menu items are good. The potatoes in green sauce are the best. If your in the area or stuck in traffic on the 91 this place is definitely worth the trip! read more

I have been here many many times for almost 3 years since they started in the late 2012. I really like the chichen kabab with rich and potato with their green sauce. I like to hang out with my friends here at the hookah lounge. We were there almost everyday. We had so much fun with various visitors every week. The owner his name is Emad is so kind and nice. The food comes fresh and so fast with reasonable prices. Emad appreciates our coming everyday and sometimes gives us a happy hour prices for the hookah. Sadly, the city closed the hookah lounge and God knows that would be for how long. Go enjoy the delicious food they serve anyway. I'll be getting that as well. read more

Great place! Quick service, friendly staff, and best of all, great fresh food. When the soda machine was being serviced, I was waiting for a refill. The manager (owner?) said to just take a 20 oz. bottle! Definitely worth a lunch trip when in the area. read more

Seeing police officers and fire fighters at a restaurants is a good sign..... Green Olive has tasty food which is quickly prepared. Parking isn't great, but doable. Thumbs up for a good lunch place. read more

The food was really good. Ordered the beef kebab plate. The beef portion was adequate and tasted delicious. I loved the hummus, first time I actually like eating it, everywhere else has been rather bland. Definitely going back for more. read more

Everytime I'm in Compton I make sure to stop here for food. The kebobs, falafels, and gyro are all good. The hummus is also really good! I suggest plate #10. Also they are open late so that a plus! read more

This place is whatever. The food is ok , nothing special but they do have vegetarian options which are convenient. The service was a bit off as well, my experience wasn't great so I dont think I'll be coming back here read more

I've come to this location so several times. The food is always delicious and the employees have always been pleasant.

Great food with many locations. I've been to this location and the Downey location, both taste great. Compton location has less of a wait line. read more

Didn't really know what to expect from this place seeing as how it's in the middle of an industrial area, ordered the chicken kabob plate and I say goddamn it was amazing. It comes with really tasty rice, hummus and a little bit of salad. Would definitely recommend to any one who works in the area! read more

Excellent food here - especially their salads. Good pricing for really big plates. Staff is rather pleasant and you're food is hot and ready in a short amount of time. read more

I had a hankering for some good mediterranean food and seen that green olive delivers through eat24. Well, ordered a vegeterian platter and superior plate. First the vegetarian, it had hummus, the usual (is it lentil bean?), and a 2nd baba ganouge which was a smokey flavor, eggplant? Both were excellent by the way, loved them. Came with 3 disks of falafel, very tasty, three grape leaf wrapped rice things, and tabouli which is a parsley like salad. Man so good, loved all of it. For those that are hungrier and can eat meat, i also got a superior plate which has a skewer of chicken kabob, which had a nice flavoring on it, more like a paprika based (reddish color) rather then typical yellow you see in most greek type kabob places. It had 2 like a ground beef like filled football shaped almost like a fried couscous like shell, awesome, generous serving of the typical yellowish rice pilaf, a greek salad and more hummus, which i ordered spicy! Yum, and for dessert, some baklava which is the filo dough baked with nuts and honey. Overally, very happy with the food i received and all was great tasting and i think overall healthy for me as well. Give this place a try, you'll def love it! Oh and def try the sauces, the cucumber and i think a parsley or cilatro based green sauce, both were delicious read more

I'm writing to you to tell you what a great time we had at your restaurant we had the number 8.. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was very helpful and accommodating as we are handicapped. We had never tried Greek food before and we were pleasantly surprised. The lounge is lovely and i wouldn't mind having my next birthday party there. My husband and I are happy to discover this get, Thank you.. read more

Food was ok but beware. I looked at the menu online and then placed a phone order. When I got there the prices were completely different than what they advertise! Not only that but they would not honor the prices that they have on their menu. Very poor customer service and to expensive for what you get. read more

So me and some friends were driving back from a new years vacation when we decided to stop at the Green Olive. I had personally never been there but the two friends I was with said it was outstanding so we went. I ordered the lamb wrap, basically lamb, tomato, and Mediterranean sauce. there were only two people working when went in and they had just been hit with a huge part order for a new years party I suppose. So unfortunately it took us about 30 minutes to get our order, personally they should have had more than two people working in the kitchen on the Saturday after new years, but that's OK I forgave them the second I ate the lamb wrap.... Unbelievable!! It's a must go to place in my opinion. read more

Don't be put off by the location or the cafeteria style restaurant. The lounge is dope. Authentic middle eastern design, big fluffy couches, dark, ambient atmosphere and delicious food. read more

Food here is great!! Flavor consistency is two thumbs up! The only thing I would have to comment on is that you get a significantly more amount of food if you dine-in rather than take-out. Besides that amazing place ! read more

First time trying this restaurant's delicious food and I have to admit it was better than I expected. Will be coming back soon.

I been to this place many times and I have enjoyed every visit. Today, my friends and I were nearby and I told them about this place. All of them definitely enjoyed it and will be coming back again. The customer service was great as well! Maritza and lizbeth were great help to us and had no trouble taking our orders even though we were a big group. They definitely need to be promoted! read more

I definitely recommend this place whether or not you think you like Mediterranean food. The beef, chicken, gyro, falafel, roasted eggplant, hummus, tzatziki sauce, rice, and not to mention their salad ate all delicious! Their salad dressing is so addictive. Thankfully they sell it by itself. My salads got phenomenally better! My favorite staple to get is the falafel wrap plate that comes with a salad. Nothing else is needed! read more

I love the Chicken Kabob. Their hummus is so good, their chicken tastes great it's super moist and tender, their rice is cooked to perfection....but their pita bread hasn't been so great. It's been stale every time I've ordered from here. Overall, great food. read more

Food here is amazing had the gyro mixed and the shrimp was okay but the rest of the meat was amazing. I just became a fan!

This place is really tasty. Went here today for the first time and I was completely satisfied. The prices are pretty good and everything I ordered was on point! My new favorite spot for Mediterranean hands down! I had the mix combo plate and a side of tabouli. read more

Small somewhat hidden location amongst a group of restaurants near a corporate park...you order at the front board and wait to be called to pick up a tray. I usually get the Kafta Kabob plate which is freshly prepared and authentic - good spice, excellent rice and salad and great hummus... reasonable portions and side pita is great to catch all the flavors together. The green sauce is piquant and has excellent flavor. The green olive does a brisk business and wait isn't too long.... read more

Open until 10pm but some lady lied after taking forever to answer the phone I called 5 times & once she answered she had an attitude & said they were closed it had just turned 9pm read more

Food was so incredibly yummy. Had the date/rosewater beverage and the vegetarian combo plate-so fresh and some of the best grape leaves ive ever had. The ONLY reason i docked the stars by 1 is due to the cold service I received. Young girl with braces. Might be able to chalk it up to adolescence or a bad day but I felt like a total inconvenience to her...not a great feeling when you are dining out. read more

Delicious!! The best spicy potatoes that I've ever had!!! For vegans, have the grilled vegetable salad with no cheese. Everything else is amazing! read more

AMAZING FOOD!!! You will love it!!! A group of co-workers swung by the place at lunch today and we were so impressed buy the food quality and taste!! Super delicious food, big portions and spot on Greek taste. The owner is very friendly and made us feel comfortable. The owner recognized my co-workers company shirt and knew who we were. Not that we are VIP or anything but my employer has ordered their food for lunch events. We left satisfied and in a food coma! We will be back to try the hookah. Ok ok, not just the hookah, more food!! read more
