Great place for lunch. I had the plate with grilled chicken kebab and a beef kofta kebab. With rice, and hummus with a thick nicely charred pita. So good!!! They have a nice selection of sauces you serve yourself. I enjoyed the garlic yogurt sauce, dill yogurt sauce, cilantro jalapeño sauce and the fire chili sauce. The sauces were very good although the fire chili sauce isn't very fire. More fire please!!! Service was quick and very friendly and Mark was awesome. Sat outside and enjoyed this yummy lunch. I love the app/ online ordering because it shows the specials. It scheduled it for 10:45 am pick up on a Saturday which worked out perfectly. The Kebab Shop is a perfect spot to stop - like what I did there LOL but really... anytime I have a Mediterranean crave this is my go too. It can get a little pricy but honestly... if you try other Mediterranean restaurants nearby... the price is actually affordable here. Upon walking up you can tap in your order or order at the counter. I also love the space it's large inside and plenty of seating The flavors are always on point and surely fills me up. I love the different options and add ons they provide. Everything that I have tried so far has been wonderful. I always look forward to coming back. read more

This isn't go to place when I can't figure out what I want to eat. I really love the lamb , the flavor was good, though it was a little on the dry side this time. I'm a big fan of their fries and rice, both are consistently good and make the plate feel filling and satisfying. Service was also good -- friendly and efficient. Finally tried one this shop, and I was very impressed. It was huge, filling and full of flavor! I went with both chicken kabob and chicken shawarma in a wrap with all the custom fixings. I did go crazy and built an almost $30 wrap but when I tell you it was massive and large enough to share. Not dry at all, if you add the sauce and or hummus options. I added fries too! So many different plates available but I like the wrap a lot! Can't wait to explore more custom options to find my perfect wrap combo. read more

I was between 3-4. It was okay and I know LA prices are expensive but it was very elated prices for an okay food experience. The chicken shawarma bowl did come with a lot. I added the grilled veggies and idk it had a weird taste so maybe that's what took down the experience. My bf got the chicken shawarma plate and wasn't too happy. Service was quick, friendly, and patient. Has a fast food vibe. You can just come eat really quick and go. I really like this idea! It's like a jersey Mike's for kebabs. I had the lamb/beef wrap. The wrap is on the thin side, but it's flavorful because they grill it. I really like that part. Unfortunately I felt the lamb/beef is sliced so thin that it's very dry. You need lots of sauce to make it work. The flavor is good, but it's more like jerky than it should be. I'll try the chicken next time. The El Segundo location has a parking lot so easy parking. They were fast with the order. The place is clean with plenty of seats. Staff was also friendly. The Kebab Shop was right across the street from our hotel we were staying at, so it was a super convenient stop for dinner right before our show! I thought the food overall was very good. Me and my friend split the bowl with carved lamb beef, romaine, cucumbers, and pickled onion. We also got the saffron rice. I really enjoyed the taste of the carved lamb beef gyro and was very comparable to other spots I've had it. Being in a bowl, I do wish it was smaller chunks to make it easier to eat all the toppings in one bite. I also thought the price was very fair for how much food we were getting. I was in the area, my son & I were hungry so I decided to come here since The Kebab Shop is one of the few places my picky kid will actually eat at. I got my usual wrap with the carved chicken and my son had his usual kid bowl with carved chicken & fries. Customer service was outstanding here, I was greeted and helped almost immediately. The cashier was polite and amicable throughout the transaction. My food arrived within an adequate time, on to the quality of the food. Portions were pretty standard to what I'm used at TKS, quality was pretty standard. One difference I did notice was the carved chicken was a not as charred as it usually is, but I think I enjoyed it more this way lol. My son's carved chicken had the typical TKS char on it though. What stood out to me about this location is their outdoor patio. It's ample and mostly shaded with square tables instead of round ones (which is what I'm used to at other SD locations I've been to). All in all, I wish this location was in Temecula instead lol. read more

I like to try things mild first to see how they taste. Some places serve bland food and mask it with spiciness. Not here. The flavor is all there. Next time I think I'm going to adventure on the wild side and try the medium and then possibly the spicy. The included salad was simple yet so satisfying. The dressing is definitely unique and packs a punch with the spice level but... I like it. *wink* *wink* hahhaa. The rice was perfection. I hate it when it's not cooked enough and too mushy or overcooked and hard. Originally I was going to eat half tonight and then the other half tomorrow but... I know myself. I would just go to bed, wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it, then not be able to go back to sleep until I finished the rest because it would keep calling my name from the kitchen. Hahahaha. I didnt get to see the inside because I got it to go but I'll let you guys know in an update. The staff there is great and they seem like a very nice family. As someone living with a brain injury and who has a valid handicap placard, I rely on accessible parking. Seeing those spaces blocked was frustrating and concerning. I was on hold on another phone call at the time, so I came inside and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Esmeralda and let her know the handicap space was being blocked. She told me she would call the non-emergency number since I was already on the phone. She stepped away and later returned. When I asked if she had called, she indicated the phone line of their line was busy, even though it was around 10:30 a.m. and the phone was right beside her. Because I was concerned the issue wasn't being addressed, I called the non-emergency line myself and reported it. While I was still on the call, an employee went outside and moved the bikes. Accessible parking exists for people with serious medical needs and disabilities. Situations like this make it harder for those of us who depend on those spaces. After realizing the situation had not been handled honestly or with urgency, I felt uncomfortable staying. I requested a refund and left. I hope this feedback helps ensure handicap parking access is respected and protected going forward.
