A buddy of mine posted this spot on his Instagram story and just off the visual alone I knew I had to try it. I came into Chicken Maison and ordered the spicy garlic lemon chicken with hummus and rice, plus an order of pita chips because I needed some crunch on the side. Let me tell you... this combo was absolutely insane. The chicken was juicy, lemony, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And for anyone wondering, the "spicy" isn't overpowering at all -- it's more of an added flavor kick than actual heat. The food was so good I literally came back the very next day and ordered the exact same thing again. First day I got the half chicken, but honestly it was a lot of food, so the second time I went with the quarter chicken and that was perfect. Comes with pita bread too, which sealed the deal for me. What really stood out besides the food was the customer service. The lady at the front counter made me feel like an auntie was taking care of me and making sure I was fed right. Fast service, super welcoming, and the prices are honestly really reasonable for the quality and portions you get. I can't believe I barely discovered this place. I'm usually not even the type to order chicken when eating out, but this place completely changed my mind. It's one of a kind and truly a hidden gem. I already know I need to try more things on the menu eventually, even though I'm lowkey scared to switch it up because what I ordered was THAT good. Next up is definitely the spicy hummus. This review is specifically about the service. The food is consistently good quality, which is why I've returned. However, this is the second time I've experienced being overlooked due to staff appearing overwhelmed with online orders. During my most recent visit, I checked in for pickup after being asked, and was told, 'I'll be there in a moment.' While I waited, another customer walked in and had their order taken first, followed by another pickup customer who received their food before me--even though my order was already sitting at the counter. I understand things can get busy, but not being acknowledged or helped in the order of arrival is frustrating. I'd like to continue supporting this location because it's more convenient than the Manhattan Beach one, but these repeated experiences make it difficult read more

I have officially found my favorite Mediterranean restaurant! My girlfriend referred me to this place and I've only heard good things. I'm a huge Greek food lover that it's my top favorites and healthy! Can't beat that! We ordered catering for my company and chicken Maison hit the high expectation mark for sure! Food was cooked to perfection, sauces were delicious, just everything was on point. I have zero complaints Even upon arrival they were sweet and kind. The gentleman helped me put all the food in my trunk and just were very welcoming overall. Just keep in mind the seating is very limited so not a restaurant to really come and dine in unless there is availability. Maybe like 4-6 chairs I can't remember off top of my head. I've also learned reading reviews they may be cashless. I paid with card but just giving heads up if you are reading this. It wasn't an issue for me but just please keep in mind. The food was amazing, I really love the presentation and I felt like I got a great value for what I paid. The only thing I would change is the music is so friggin loud it's busting your ear decibels when I stepped outside my ears were ringing, this is not an exaggeration it's really friggin loud in there you can't think nor could you enjoy eating your food inside of the restaurant. Chicken Maison was just what the doctor ordered when my girlfriend was sick with a cold. I ordered it to go order with chicken soup and she said it was some of the best chicken soup she's ever had. A big shout out to Chicken Maison for delivering in the clutch and being able to help me make my girlfriend feel better. This place is right next to my job and can get pretty busy during lunch hours so make sure you order ahead. read more

Very disappointed in the customer service I received from the cashier, Antonia. I've been a customer for over 10 years, have had previous encounters with her at other locations, normally positive but today was unfortunate. I made a mistake on my side at the register, redeeming my rewards and instead of finding a workaround, she gave me one option to pay full price because "she didn't put in the wrong number, I did". At that point, I asked to cancel the order because I was not pleased with her resolve due to a minor issue (one digit off rewards number). I even called beforehand inquiring how to redeem the reward. I am not responsible that the cashier does not know how to fully work the pos system and/or does not know how to redeem rewards for this location's loyalty/reward system. Thankful the manager was onsite and stepped in to resolve the issue and allow my rewards redemption. read more

When they first opened I tried their food and it was delicious. I went a 2nd time and it was not the same. Ordered same exact item and was not good. Today I went after not being there for a while. They had a chicken special for $10.95. I got 2 of them. The chicken pieces were tiny, the legs were not fully cooked and had a broken bone. Either way, it was a nice addition to the meal. The grand finale were the desserts! I usually go for baklava, but decided to try the knafeh, a layered cheese dessert with syrup and pistachios. I HIGHLY recommend, the cook go to culinary school before opening a place to sell food. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. We ordered chicken wings (came out under cooked) they were littered with cilantro..why? Who does that? And the plate was splashed with buffalo mostly missing the wings. As if a baker would do with a dessert plate and some Carmel or chocolate drizzle. Weird. The mozzarella sticks were from Costco. And he laid them on one single piece of iceberg lettuce leaf. No marinara. Just cheese sticks and an old leaf. I recommend a few classes in plating your dishes. I also ordered water and an iced tea. He charged us $5. He then proceeded to walk outside to the liquor store nearby and purchased an off brand bottle of water and a lemon iced tea and gave it to us. Lol talk about unprofessional. Imagine ordering a burger from a new place and they take your money and walk across the street and bring you a Big Mac. Wild It took 37 mins to get our appetizers (wings and mozzarella sticks) At the one hour mark I had enough. I asked him to refund me my money as it was taking way too long for our food. And I noticed he was JUST starting the pizza we ordered sprinkling mixed cheddar cheese from Costco on it...WITH NO GLOVES. I've eaten pizza all over the world and have NEVER seen a pizza made with pre shredded Costco cheddar cheese. He then said "I already made your chicken kabob plate" and pointed to a plate that had about four inches of lettuce and a chicken kabob lying on top..sitting there getting cold. I asked how long before you bring me both, he said "about 10 mins". lol The best thing that happened about my experience is that I got a refund. But you can't refund my time. Honestly, I wasn't going to share my experience but when I seen that I wasn't the first that had this level of unprofessionalism, I changed my mind. I applaud anyone stepping up and trying to be successful in whatever endeavor they choose but when you are so ill equipped that it clearly is a hindrance to your progress, and you choose to ignore it instead of trying to make changes to make things better, that's a problem. There's a huge responsibility when cooking food and serving the public. You can make people very sick and or kill someone. I recommend this business be closed down. If you're reading this and are contemplating eating here, you've been warned. DO NOT EAT HERE!

As someone living with a brain injury and who has a valid handicap placard, I rely on accessible parking. Seeing those spaces blocked was frustrating and concerning. I was on hold on another phone call at the time, so I came inside and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Esmeralda and let her know the handicap space was being blocked. She told me she would call the non-emergency number since I was already on the phone. She stepped away and later returned. When I asked if she had called, she indicated the phone line of their line was busy, even though it was around 10:30 a.m. and the phone was right beside her. Because I was concerned the issue wasn't being addressed, I called the non-emergency line myself and reported it. While I was still on the call, an employee went outside and moved the bikes. Accessible parking exists for people with serious medical needs and disabilities. Situations like this make it harder for those of us who depend on those spaces. After realizing the situation had not been handled honestly or with urgency, I felt uncomfortable staying. I requested a refund and left. I hope this feedback helps ensure handicap parking access is respected and protected going forward.
