I was craving Mediterranean food & came across Hummus House! The food is good, the staff is welcoming and the food comes out hot & is flavorful. I will definitely be back!

Food was delicious! The hummus sampler was a great taste of every hummus on the menu. The place was empty on a weekday evening but there was a steady stream of people coming in for takeout. Easy parking and great service. A nice casual meal before heading to the Forum.

We stopped in a few months ago based on Yelp reviews. The restaurant was dark and could have had better days. We selected some baklava in the display and asked to also purchase some pita chips. When we got home and opened the container of pita chips, they were all broken into little pieces, like what you'd find at the bottom of a bag of crushed chips. Needless to say, we were disappointed as we were planning to dip them in some fresh hummus. Baklava was just ok. The restaurant was not busy with customers when we entered, but the kitchen seemed to be cooking up take out or pickup orders. Don't think we'll be back.

Been coming here for years and am never disappointed with their food or service. When we came with a big group today, Siraj helped us out and suggested the group platter. Everything was great. Chicken, beef and lamb kefta, and beef skewers. They even got us fries and extra salads.

I was out running errands and got hungry, so I stopped here for the 1st time. I could eat Mediterranean food any day, and they were close by. The restaurant wasn't busy and I was immediately seated. The waiter/host was friendly and provided prompt service.I ordered the Mahi wrap and the cilantro jalapeno hummus. The wrap was good, but a little smaller than I imagined. The cilantro jalapeno hummus was good but I expected more heat. I'll be back soon to try the shrimp wrap and other hummus flavors!

We love coming here. The young man named Roel helping us yesterday provided such great service. The food is always amazing and delicious. We got the chicken samosas as our appetizer and 7 kabobs meal that comes with 4 hummus flavors, pita, 4 salads, and rice. We got all of them beef kabobs, they do up-charge 1.75 per beef but so worth it. We added a chicken and kafta kabob too. The ambience is great and they have space at the front and back of the restaurant. Looking forward to coming back soon.

This review is long overdue, I've been coming here for about 10 years now. Let's start with the staff , young crew, but they're amazing at what they do and have the best attitude and the best service you ever seen in an any place I've been to. You think you were at some five star resort hotel how good their service is. Now onto the food , I had this place catered for my wedding. That's how good it is. The beef kebab is insanely delicious and out of this world something you wouldn't expect from the outside looking into this place. If you know you know. there is no match to this type of food anywhere I've ever been. The flavor of the meat beats any place that serves any type of beef period. The chicken kebab is great as well. All their foods top-notch and amazing. The hummus is great. I can't say enough. I can't tell you how many times I've tried to drag people to this place to live far away, but they refuse because they never heard of it . Do yourself a favor head down there one weekend take your day and get the beef kebab and you'll be blown away.

Four of us enjoyed a takeout dinner from the Hummus House recently. The interior of the restaurant is nothing to write home about, but don't let that fool you. The food is excellent. They offer a wide range of different hummus variations. Our favorites were the roasted red pepper, the artichoke, and the jalapeno cilantro. The braised lamb shank was tender and flavorful. The beef shawarma and kafta kabob were nicely seasoned, and the chicken kabobs had a nice char on the outside but were still tender and juicy on the inside. We also had the fried chicken, which is not always available. On this evening, it was. Lucky for us - because it was crispy and beautifully seasoned. Yum. All of the food had a wonderful aroma. Prices were fair and portion sizes were generous.

Probably one of the best Middle Eastern meals I've had. Ordered the chicken shawarma plate with cilantro jalapeño hummus, salad, cup of lentil soup and a traditional baklava. All of it was amazing. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Was just me on a Thursday night. Definitely a diamond in the rough.

I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon, where a few other patrons were already dining. The seating has around 6 or so tables inside that can fit around 4 each, and they also have high chairs for children! I ordered a number 17, which is the gyro, and got a side of hummus and pita then found a table to sit at. I had just finished buckling my child into the high chair when my order was delivered to my table! They are super fast here! The super friendly waiter delivered my meal, and I dug in. The gyro was stuffed with meat! This is a huge deal, since a lot of places skimp and don't give enough. So extra points to Al Hamra for a job well done. The flavor of the meat was juicy and well seasoned, super delish! The hummus and pita was good, although I usually add a bit of spices to my hummus so this one was a little plainer than I'm used to. Either way, it was a nice addition to the meal. The grand finale were the desserts! I usually go for baklava, but decided to try the knafeh, a layered cheese dessert with syrup and pistachios. Get the knafeh! The warm cheese and syrup were so delicious and made for the perfect ending to a good meal! I will definitely be back, the food was super tasty, and the people working there were friendly and helpful. Thanks for the happiness, Al Hamra!

Our group of four adults and two kids came in starving. I had the chicken kabob wrap, which was a perfect burrito-sized meal, while my husband enjoyed a beef and chicken kabob plate that fully satisfied his appetite. Honestly, the highlight for me was the warm pita served with garlic mayo, so much better than the cold or room-temperature pitas you often get at otherMediterranean spots. We also shared dessert, the kulfi cheesecake, and left completely stuffed. Al Hamra is a cozy family-run restaurant with just a few tables, but the food makes it well worth it. I'll definitely rotate between this spot and Chicken Maison for future visits.

We arrived around 7:16 PM, and right away the cashier was rude and told us our order had to be to-go because after 7:20 PM they don't allow dine-in. I mentioned it was only 7:18, and she responded with attitude, saying, "Oh, it just turned 7:20." This place wreaks of "I want to pretend to be a chef/cook, to make money but have no idea on earth what it takes to do it". I HIGHLY recommend, the cook go to culinary school before opening a place to sell food. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. We ordered chicken wings (came out under cooked) they were littered with cilantro..why? Who does that? And the plate was splashed with buffalo mostly missing the wings. As if a baker would do with a dessert plate and some Carmel or chocolate drizzle. Weird. The mozzarella sticks were from Costco. And he laid them on one single piece of iceberg lettuce leaf. No marinara. Just cheese sticks and an old leaf. I recommend a few classes in plating your dishes. I also ordered water and an iced tea. He charged us $5. He then proceeded to walk outside to the liquor store nearby and purchased an off brand bottle of water and a lemon iced tea and gave it to us. Lol talk about unprofessional. Imagine ordering a burger from a new place and they take your money and walk across the street and bring you a Big Mac. Wild It took 37 mins to get our appetizers (wings and mozzarella sticks) At the one hour mark I had enough. I asked him to refund me my money as it was taking way too long for our food. And I noticed he was JUST starting the pizza we ordered sprinkling mixed cheddar cheese from Costco on it...WITH NO GLOVES. I've eaten pizza all over the world and have NEVER seen a pizza made with pre shredded Costco cheddar cheese. He then said "I already made your chicken kabob plate" and pointed to a plate that had about four inches of lettuce and a chicken kabob lying on top..sitting there getting cold. I asked how long before you bring me both, he said "about 10 mins". lol The best thing that happened about my experience is that I got a refund. But you can't refund my time. Honestly, I wasn't going to share my experience but when I seen that I wasn't the first that had this level of unprofessionalism, I changed my mind. I applaud anyone stepping up and trying to be successful in whatever endeavor they choose but when you are so ill equipped that it clearly is a hindrance to your progress, and you choose to ignore it instead of trying to make changes to make things better, that's a problem. There's a huge responsibility when cooking food and serving the public. You can make people very sick and or kill someone. I recommend this business be closed down. She told me she would call the non-emergency number since I was already on the phone. She stepped away and later returned. When I asked if she had called, she indicated the phone line of their line was busy, even though it was around 10:30 a.m. and the phone was right beside her. Because I was concerned the issue wasn't being addressed, I called the non-emergency line myself and reported it. While I was still on the call, an employee went outside and moved the bikes.
