    Naan, garlic sauce, zucchini dumplings

I went to an event for 30 people in a private dining room area, buffet style. So I plated my own food, but wanted to write about the food. The service was great. Even for a large group, our server was very attentive. Everyone picked what they wanted previously and was charged by the person based on their selection. I got the 2 chicken skewers and the chicken was juicy and tender. It was so good I ate the entire thing. The rice was decent, same with the salad with Greek dressing. My favorite was the Jalapeno hummus. It was so good, and had a nice kick to it. They gave us plenty of garlic sauce and pita bread. I really also enjoyed the garlic sauce, I personally prefer a very garlic forward sauce and for my personally it was on the milder side, but still very good. I dod order the Zucchini dumplings, and it was ok. I wasn't a huge fan of it. Maybe the cheese in that I wasn't a fan of. I'm not saying it tasted bad. It was just not my thing. There was plenty of parking when we went on friday night and overall it was a great time for a private event.

Came for lunch with my coworkers. There was ample parking outside and lots of seating inside. We sat down with no problems at all. I got the chicken shawarma plate with the artichoke pesto hummus off of their lunch specials menu that runs Tuesday-Friday 11am-3pm. Before our food came out the server gave us pita chips with toum. These were to die for! An amazing appetizer. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The artichoke pesto hummus was a good addition as well. The plate also came with a side of rice, salad, and pita. There was so much food I could only eat about half of it and had to take the rest home. 10/10, would definitely come back again!

I wanted to try another Mediterranean restaurant, and the place I went to had plenty of seating. The server was really nice. I looked at the menu and ordered the falafel plate with salad, hummus, and pita. My partner ordered the chicken burger and the garbanzo soup. This place has a lot of positives: good location, free parking out front, spacious restaurant, and attentive service. The server came out within 15 minutes, and the food was ready. They served us hummus, pita chips, and pita. Portion sizes are good. We actually ate the hummus and salad and took our main dishes home for later. I asked the server to put the dressing on the side for my salad, and once the server realized they had already mixed the dressing in, they brought out another salad, which was really nice of them. The chicken burger was fresh and tasty, with a fluffy bun, nice flavors in the sauce, and well-seasoned chicken. The sides that came with my falafel plate were good. The soup was hot and fresh. Nice added touch to the meal. The only downside was that my green falafel was overcooked and burnt. You can tell by the photos that it was left cooking too long. Other than that, it's a great place and I recommend it.

Food was delicious! The hummus sampler was a great taste of every hummus on the menu. The place was empty on a weekday evening but there was a steady stream of people coming in for takeout. Easy parking and great service. A nice casual meal before heading to the Forum.

We stopped in a few months ago based on Yelp reviews. The restaurant was dark and could have had better days. We selected some baklava in the display and asked to also purchase some pita chips. When we got home and opened the container of pita chips, they were all broken into little pieces, like what you'd find at the bottom of a bag of crushed chips. Needless to say, we were disappointed as we were planning to dip them in some fresh hummus. Baklava was just ok. The restaurant was not busy with customers when we entered, but the kitchen seemed to be cooking up take out or pickup orders. Don't think we'll be back.

Been coming here for years and am never disappointed with their food or service. When we came with a big group today, Siraj helped us out and suggested the group platter. Everything was great. Chicken, beef and lamb kefta, and beef skewers. They even got us fries and extra salads.

I was out running errands and got hungry, so I stopped here for the 1st time. I could eat Mediterranean food any day, and they were close by. The restaurant wasn't busy and I was immediately seated. The waiter/host was friendly and provided prompt service.I ordered the Mahi wrap and the cilantro jalapeno hummus. The wrap was good, but a little smaller than I imagined. The cilantro jalapeno hummus was good but I expected more heat. I'll be back soon to try the shrimp wrap and other hummus flavors!

We love coming here. The young man named Roel helping us yesterday provided such great service. The food is always amazing and delicious. We got the chicken samosas as our appetizer and 7 kabobs meal that comes with 4 hummus flavors, pita, 4 salads, and rice. We got all of them beef kabobs, they do up-charge 1.75 per beef but so worth it. We added a chicken and kafta kabob too. The ambience is great and they have space at the front and back of the restaurant. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Al Hamra Kabob Grill is a restaurant run by a Pakistani owner, specializing in kebabs and grilled…read moremeats inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu also features traditional Pakistani, Persian, and Arabic dishes, such as Beef Nihari and Haleem. After several visits, here are my thoughts on some of their grilled meats and desserts. Beef Kofta - 3/5. The kofta was a bit dry and tough. I wish it had more fat and seasoning to make it juicier and more flavorful. The grilling is also somewhat inconsistent--sometimes the kofta comes out beautifully browned, while other times it's over-charred. Grilled Fish - 4/5. This is easily my favorite item on the menu and, in my opinion, their best dish. The fish is seasoned just enough to enhance its natural flavor without overpowering it. It's grilled very well, developing a beautiful golden-brown crust while remaining moist and tender inside. Beef Shish Kebab - 3.5/5. The quality of the beef is decent, especially considering the price. Given the cut of meat they use, they've done a commendable job with the grilling. The beef has a solid seasoning base and a nice sear with just enough char to add flavor without becoming overly smoky. It's reasonably tender, though I wish it retained a bit more juiciness. Chicken Shish Kebab - 3.5/5. Very similar to the beef shish kebab. It has good flavor and is grilled well, but it could benefit from being a little juicier. Gyro - 2/5. Unfortunately, this was the biggest disappointment. The gyro meat on the vertical spit often appears to be rotating without enough heat to properly caramelize and crisp the exterior. As a result, the meat comes across as dry, rubbery, and lacking the rich roasted flavor that makes a great gyro. Kunafa (Knafeh) - 3/5. This dessert has both strengths and weaknesses. The cheese filling has a pleasant, slightly salty flavor and a creamy texture, and I appreciate that it isn't overly sweet. However, the syrup is underwhelming. A good kunafa should be generously coated with a fragrant sugar syrup - ideally infused with rose water or orange blossom water - to provide sweetness and aroma. I also wish the kataifi, the shredded pastry dough, were crispier and lighter to create a better contrast with the gooey cheese filling. Overall, Al Hamra Kabob Grill is one of the better places to enjoy Middle Eastern-style grilled dishes in the South Bay. While a few menu items could be improved, the grilled fish stands out as excellent, and the shish kebabs are solid choices. The owner is also incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, neighborhood atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. It's not perfect, but it's a restaurant I enjoy visiting from time to time and one I'd recommend if you're craving grilled Middle Eastern flavors.

This place wreaks of "I want to pretend to be a chef/cook, to make money but have no idea on earth what it takes to do it". I HIGHLY recommend, the cook go to culinary school before opening a place to sell food. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived. We ordered chicken wings (came out under cooked) they were littered with cilantro..why? Who does that? And the plate was splashed with buffalo mostly missing the wings. As if a baker would do with a dessert plate and some Carmel or chocolate drizzle. Weird. The mozzarella sticks were from Costco. And he laid them on one single piece of iceberg lettuce leaf. No marinara. Just cheese sticks and an old leaf. I recommend a few classes in plating your dishes. I also ordered water and an iced tea. He charged us $5. He then proceeded to walk outside to the liquor store nearby and purchased an off brand bottle of water and a lemon iced tea and gave it to us. Lol talk about unprofessional. Imagine ordering a burger from a new place and they take your money and walk across the street and bring you a Big Mac. Wild It took 37 mins to get our appetizers (wings and mozzarella sticks) At the one hour mark I had enough. I asked him to refund me my money as it was taking way too long for our food. And I noticed he was JUST starting the pizza we ordered sprinkling mixed cheddar cheese from Costco on it...WITH NO GLOVES. I've eaten pizza all over the world and have NEVER seen a pizza made with pre shredded Costco cheddar cheese. He then said "I already made your chicken kabob plate" and pointed to a plate that had about four inches of lettuce and a chicken kabob lying on top..sitting there getting cold. I asked how long before you bring me both, he said "about 10 mins". lol The best thing that happened about my experience is that I got a refund. But you can't refund my time. Honestly, I wasn't going to share my experience but when I seen that I wasn't the first that had this level of unprofessionalism, I changed my mind. I applaud anyone stepping up and trying to be successful in whatever endeavor they choose but when you are so ill equipped that it clearly is a hindrance to your progress, and you choose to ignore it instead of trying to make changes to make things better, that's a problem. There's a huge responsibility when cooking food and serving the public. You can make people very sick and or kill someone. I recommend this business be closed down. I've never eaten in, but I've picked up food from here twice and have enjoyed their food at my sister's house at least one other time. I don't mean that I don't understand why they chose Torrance over Redondo Beach; I mean that I just don't understand the two cities' boundaries very well, because this feels like straight-up North Redondo to me. The second thing I don't understand is how this place hasn't expanded or multiplied or otherwise won the hearts and minds and stomachs of South Bayers near and far. But maybe it already has. The third thing I don't understand is why I don't come here more often. It's not that far from my sister's house, and I was dog-sitting there earlier this year. . . . Or at least it's not a red flag. I promise. The combo deal is legit, but even without that deal, the prices are good, especially when you consider the food quality.
