Now y'all, I'm going to be truthful here -- wrapped in a little grace. Petit Café has good food -- I mean the kind that makes you smile before you even take the second bite. The flavors are on point, the portions are just right, and the kitchen clearly knows what they're doing. But Lord... the service? That's another story. Our waitress acted like she had somewhere better to be -- and honestly, she looked irritated the moment I walked up to the counter. She was selectively dropping plates at certain tables and skipping others like we were invisible. And let me be clear: Petit Café is the kind of place where you place your order at the counter, whether you're dining in or taking it to go. But whew... the impatience was loud. You'd barely get a word out before she was sighing like you were ruining her whole day. Listen... I don't expect folks to roll out a red carpet, but I do expect common courtesy -- especially when the food is this good. It's hard to enjoy a great meal when the service feels like you're bothering somebody. Petit Café, the kitchen is shining. Now it's time for the service to catch up. read more

This place is great for quick lunch. Their chicken Gyro with spicy hummus is delicious. Quick service and friendly staffs. Clean seating area, definitely coming back. read more

This is my favorite place to get gyros! The gyro meat is so soft and flavorful-no matter if its in the wrap or a plate. The chicken and kafta kabob plates are just alright, nothing extraordinary..they really shine with their lamb and portions! You'd definitely have some to save for later! Their feta cheese was a phenomenal touch with the salad and the whole plate. Friendly service! A small spot but worth a try! read more

Food was terrible kufta kabob raw had to return it they cooked it more but not enough no taste small for $20 I told the staff food wasn't good she said ok No customer service I hope the owner reads this maybe he doesn't know what kind of food he's serving I own a restaurant like this if someone complained I would do what ever I can to make them happy this is not my first time here I ate before but now I'm not coming back read more

I came here while waiting for my room to become available at my nearby hotel. The restaurant has enough seating for 16 people, which worked on this quiet Friday. I ordered the original gyro plate with potatoes, and they made it fresh to order. Everything was very tasty! Nicely shaved meat and a big helping of salad. The plate was so hot when I grabbed it that I dropped it (whoops) and they were kind enough to make me more potatoes for free, to replace those I dropped on the floor. Great little stop! read more

This was always a favorite place since I moved to El Segundo, but I haven't been in a while. $14 for a gyros you'd think it would be hearty, it was not. The guy at the counter that took our order, asked if we wanted to have honey mustard , when we wanted tzatziki, he wasn't sure if they had it‍ Who puts honey mustard on a gyros? It was horrible, dry and tasteless But the worst part was while we were sitting eating ,the guy behind the counter told us they were closing and we needed to leave. Do you know what it's like trying to pick up a gyros especially when you're in the middle of it? He was incredibly rude and after all the years of going to this place, I will never go back. read more

Petit Café - Greek Near Me - El Segundo, California

Located a couple minutes away from LAX. This little Greek style cuisine is rare in the area. It opens 10am to 8:30pm. I was greeted by the owner, who I thought he was one of the customers. He was friendly and took my order. The food was freshly prepared. The skewer of chicken and lamb were from a fridge, and were laid on the grill. The pita/yogurt, salad, and hummus were fresh, and they were packaged and ready for pick up within a a timely manner. The pita was scrumptious. The meat was somewhat between juicy and dry, defintely not the best. The portion of the meal was huge, you can easily divide it into 2 or 3 meals depends on your biological storage! Overall, the value was great, the service was good, the meat needs improvement. I give it 3.9 out of 5. read more

Love, love, love it here! I visited Petit Cafe one late Saturday afternoon, I loved it so much, I came back the next evening on a Sunday to find that they were already closed due to shorter business hours on Sundays. (Totally understandable!) My hopes and dreams were crushed! (Lol, okay I'm being dramatic! Haha) But I had been wondering all day about what I was going to order when I went back that day. The food was just that good! I ordered shrimp with rice and let me tell you, it had lots of flavor! I couldn't stop eating it even after I was already full. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely be back and try out some more of their signature dishes like the kabobs and gyros. If they're half as good as the shrimp I had, then they'll be amazing! read more

The service was quick, the place clean and the food was good. I ordered the chicken kabob. The food was fresh delivered in reasonable. It came with dressing and garlic butter. Petit Cafe has to go and eat in, if you decide to eat in you order at the counter then have a seat until your food is ready. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot, I would return here. read more

Excellent food, very clean environment with huge portions. Everything was delicious. Thank you!!

It really is a petit cafe, but the serving size and flavor was Grande! The lamb was fantastic, and the staff very friendly and attentive.

I was working in the area and needed to find something good to eat for lunch. I ended up trying Petit Cafe, and it was alright. But, I felt that it was overpriced for the food and quality offered. I would only eat here if I had limited time and there were no other choices. read more

I've really been missing the meats from here, so we paid another visit! Still as awesome as ever. The meats were juicy and substantial. The hummus was ridiculously creamy smooth. The falafel was perfectly fried and even lighter in consistency that I remembered. I wanted to try to gyro wrap this time, and it really hit the spot. The wrap was perfect. It was juicy and saucy and fresh. The seasoned fries were my favorite type (coated and properly cooked). It was all so delicious. I need to remember to visit more often. read more

Use to eat at this location back in the mid to late 90's when I worked at LAX. Food was just as good as I remember it to be. Portions are huge. My wife and I could have easily shared a plate and still have leftovers.lol, and I'm a pretty big eater. Highly recommend this place. read more

The gyro was huge! I stopped by randomly looking for a small late night meal. I walked in and ordered the original gyro to go. It was ready in less than 5 min! The woman behind the counter was friendly and sweet. When I got home and opened the gyro it was so big! About 6-7 inches long and packed with meat and condiments. Perfect amount of tzatziki sauce and great flavors. I couldn't put it down! I was comfortably full after, I'm glad I didn't get any sides. $10 well spent! Thank you for a great gyro! read more

Had their $12 lamb gyro. It was quite small but full of flavor. The price is quite high for a wrap but this establishment is very much so a hole in the wall. Great Greek salads and Gyro plates. They have both chicken and lamb/beef gyros. Go for the plates or sandwiches. The food is prepared quick for the busy lunch hour and the food is good. I thought their breakfast burrito was pretty good, although I felt it was too small, specially for 9 bucks. I probably wouldn't get it again as it left me hungry. Too bad because the taste was there. It was also a bit on the dry side. Could have used a bit more salsa. I tried adding sour cream to it, but they don't have any here, which is expected since this is a Mediterranean place. They are selling breakfast burritos though, some sour cream wouldn't hurt! I might come back and try a Gyro. The place seemed nice and they were showing a football match (soccer) with is always a plus for me. Pros: + Tasty breakfast burrito + Were showing soccer on tv Cons: - Breakfast burrito was too small - No sour cream - Breakfast burrito was pricey for the small size ($9.21) read more

Petit Café - Breakfast burrito. Tasty, but tiny. Guess it's fitting at a place called Petit Café. Get two! :) - Greek Near Me - El Segundo, California

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. This place has the best gyros, Lamb , Chicken, and Beef. They also have hummus, salads, and other stuff, but when I usually go there, it's just for the Gyros. 1 Chicken Gyro sandwich/wrap is all I ever get. And believe me, it's enough. It comes with tomatoes, grilled onions, greens, and sauce. I don't remember the price, but if I had to guess I would say $6.75. There are pictures of several Laker players in the store. Who knows you might run into one of them if you're there. read more

Fresh delicious & flavorful. Wish they closed a bit later. Would definitely recommend the gyro combo. One day I'd like to try their breakfast read more

I come here once in awhile for their rib eye steak and egg sandwich for breakfast. Some may think it is a bit pricey, but for its size, I think the price is pretty fair. I always request to cut the sandwich in half as it's pretty big. (I eat one half during breakfast and the other half during lunch.) And yes, it is quite yummy! Their kitchen is pretty open, so you can really see everything that's going on. I notice on each of my visit that their vegetables are ALWAYS fresh and prepped to order. (All their vegetables can be seen through their glass-door refrigerator.) What a difference this makes on the dish! I've had their original gyro and it is SOOOOO delicious! They don't go cheap on the meat or any of the other items that go with it, so you definitely get your money's worth here! Papa Cristo's was the ONLY place I'd go to for this, but I will now admit they have competition with Petit Café! (Well... for me, at least...) Definitely my go-to place for Mediterranean in the South Bay! read more

Last week I ordered delivery from here and loved it. I enjoyed my Original Gyros Salad. I have been trying to find a real Greek salad in my area, not just Mediterranean, and this spot seems to be it. First, I love that they use romaine lettuce (and not mixed greens) which is more hearty and gives the crunch that I like. The gyro meat was delicious too although it seemed like I mostly got the crisp bits that fall off and gather at the bottom of the spit pan :-). I wasn't too mad at that though, but I would have liked less of that and more meat strips. Still, it was good! And they give a great amount of salad. I definitely will be ordering again! read more

Their Gyro Plate is just (beefoodie says yummy for your tummy) to die for. It is the best gyro i have ever other than the halal stand in New York. Its a fast food place but worth eating there if you are around the area. I would have rated them 5 stars but their soda bar is not unlimited refill and .50 cents for more. I think this is a rip off since they charge a lot for the soda to begin with. Other than this, I love this place everything they have is good. 'til the next beefoodie adventure! read more
