This is my favorite place to get gyros! The gyro meat is so soft and flavorful-no matter if its in the wrap or a plate. The chicken and kafta kabob plates are just alright, nothing extraordinary..they really shine with their lamb and portions! You'd definitely have some to save for later! This was always a favorite place since I moved to El Segundo, but I haven't been in a while. $14 for a gyros you'd think it would be hearty, it was not. The guy at the counter that took our order, asked if we wanted to have honey mustard , when we wanted tzatziki, he wasn't sure if they had it‍ Who puts honey mustard on a gyros? It was horrible, dry and tasteless But the worst part was while we were sitting eating ,the guy behind the counter told us they were closing and we needed to leave. Do you know what it's like trying to pick up a gyros especially when you're in the middle of it? I came here while waiting for my room to become available at my nearby hotel. The restaurant has enough seating for 16 people, which worked on this quiet Friday. I ordered the original gyro plate with potatoes, and they made it fresh to order. Everything was very tasty! Nicely shaved meat and a big helping of salad. The plate was so hot when I grabbed it that I dropped it (whoops) and they were kind enough to make me more potatoes for free, to replace those I dropped on the floor. Great little stop! read more

He was friendly and took my order. The food was freshly prepared. The skewer of chicken and lamb were from a fridge, and were laid on the grill. The pita/yogurt, salad, and hummus were fresh, and they were packaged and ready for pick up within a a timely manner. The pita was scrumptious. The meat was somewhat between juicy and dry, defintely not the best. The portion of the meal was huge, you can easily divide it into 2 or 3 meals depends on your biological storage! I visited Petit Cafe one late Saturday afternoon, I loved it so much, I came back the next evening on a Sunday to find that they were already closed due to shorter business hours on Sundays. (Totally understandable!) My hopes and dreams were crushed! (Lol, okay I'm being dramatic! Haha) But I had been wondering all day about what I was going to order when I went back that day. The food was just that good! I ordered shrimp with rice and let me tell you, it had lots of flavor! I couldn't stop eating it even after I was already full. When I'm back in town, I'll definitely be back and try out some more of their signature dishes like the kabobs and gyros. I've really been missing the meats from here, so we paid another visit! Still as awesome as ever. The meats were juicy and substantial. The hummus was ridiculously creamy smooth. The falafel was perfectly fried and even lighter in consistency that I remembered. I wanted to try to gyro wrap this time, and it really hit the spot. The wrap was perfect. The gyro was huge! I stopped by randomly looking for a small late night meal. I walked in and ordered the original gyro to go. It was ready in less than 5 min! The woman behind the counter was friendly and sweet. When I got home and opened the gyro it was so big! About 6-7 inches long and packed with meat and condiments. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. This place has the best gyros, Lamb , Chicken, and Beef. They also have hummus, salads, and other stuff, but when I usually go there, it's just for the Gyros. 1 Chicken Gyro sandwich/wrap is all I ever get. And believe me, it's enough. It comes with tomatoes, grilled onions, greens, and sauce. I don't remember the price, but if I had to guess I would say $6.75. There are pictures of several Laker players in the store. I come here once in awhile for their rib eye steak and egg sandwich for breakfast. Some may think it is a bit pricey, but for its size, I think the price is pretty fair. I always request to cut the sandwich in half as it's pretty big. (I eat one half during breakfast and the other half during lunch.) And yes, it is quite yummy! Their kitchen is pretty open, so you can really see everything that's going on. I notice on each of my visit that their vegetables are ALWAYS fresh and prepped to order. (All their vegetables can be seen through their glass-door refrigerator.) What a difference this makes on the dish! I've had their original gyro and it is SOOOOO delicious! They don't go cheap on the meat or any of the other items that go with it, so you definitely get your money's worth here! Last week I ordered delivery from here and loved it. I enjoyed my Original Gyros Salad. I have been trying to find a real Greek salad in my area, not just Mediterranean, and this spot seems to be it. First, I love that they use romaine lettuce (and not mixed greens) which is more hearty and gives the crunch that I like. The gyro meat was delicious too although it seemed like I mostly got the crisp bits that fall off and gather at the bottom of the spit pan :-). I wasn't too mad at that though, but I would have liked less of that and more meat strips. Still, it was good! And they give a great amount of salad. I definitely will be ordering again! read more

Their Gyro Plate is just (beefoodie says yummy for your tummy) to die for. It is the best gyro i have ever other than the halal stand in New York. Its a fast food place but worth eating there if you are around the area. I would have rated them 5 stars but their soda bar is not unlimited refill and .50 cents for more.
