I came in for lunch because I had really been craving your food. When I arrived, I noticed two e-bikes parked in the handicap parking space. As someone living with a brain injury and who has a valid handicap placard, I rely on accessible parking. Seeing those spaces blocked was frustrating and concerning. I was on hold on another phone call at the time, so I came inside and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Esmeralda and let her know the handicap space was being blocked. She told me she would call the non-emergency number since I was already on the phone. She stepped away and later returned. When I asked if she had called, she indicated the phone line of their line was busy, even though it was around 10:30 a.m. and the phone was right beside her. Because I was concerned the issue wasn't being addressed, I called the non-emergency line myself and reported it. While I was still on the call, an employee went outside and moved the bikes. Accessible parking exists for people with serious medical needs and disabilities. Situations like this make it harder for those of us who depend on those spaces. After realizing the situation had not been handled honestly or with urgency, I felt uncomfortable staying. I requested a refund and left. I hope this feedback helps ensure handicap parking access is respected and protected going forward. read more

I've been a customer here for many years; however, based on my visit here this week, I will reconsider. I stopped in for a pick up and to dine in while I waited for my order. I ordered a 1/2 of chicken to go which needed to be be packaged and ready to go since this was for my elderly mother. I ordered the falafel sandwich to dine in. I didn't mind that it took longer than usual. If I'm not mistaken, it took about 30 mins, out of the norm for this place. Finally, one of the cashiers brings me the chicken at the table where I was dining and advises that here is my 1/4 chicken. I respectfully said that it should be 1/2. Instead of taking the chicken to the kitchen, she interrupts my lunch and decides to open the chicken right there just to check what it is. There was no reason for her to 1, have a bad attitude, 2, interrupt my lunch, 3, put her hands on the pita bread, or open the bag altogether. I had a long day and simply wanted to eat in peace. I would have picked up the chicken prior to leaving. I did not appreciate the attitude she has with me when I asked why does she need to open the food now, this is a delivery for someone else, I did not need to open it. Both ladies were incredibly rude, and to make matters worse, the so called manager didn't bother to come out to speak to me when I stood here by the register asking the cashier if I could speak to someone to just provide feedback. Service was rude and inexperienced with no management engagement. Clearly there was someone there that could have come out to speak with me, instead, he just spoke to the 2 ride cahiers, blew off the customer and the second manager sitting at the table with her laptop ignoring things. I feel shortchanged, I paid for bad service and poor quality of chicken. Not only was my lunch interrupted and not finished, but the chicken that was provided looked like yesterday's chicken, excessively dry. I hope that I do not become ill, it looks questionable. At about 2:30 pm on a Wednesday, there's plenty of seating available. It didn't take long & our food was delivered to our table. The young lady at the counter was pleasant. Hubby ordered the chicken vegetable plate with sides of rice & salad. I ordered the kafta & vegetable plate. Hubby says the chicken was tender & the rice was "meh". I must've been hungry coz I almost ate it all. The kafta meat was good, not terrific but not entirely horrible either. For my sides I had the dolmas (3 pieces) & hummus. I expected the dolmas to have a bit of a tang but that was lacking. The hummus was good. Our plates came with pita, also standard. If the container with white sauce in it is supposed to be their version of garlic sauce? It neither smelled nor tasted to garlic, I was disappointed. Bottom line, would I return? Love the food at chicken maison and my husband's work caters from there often. However today, they packaged the food so poorly that it leaked all over the backseat of my car. The oil stains and garlic smell permeated my car's leather :(. It was a slow leak too so the leak wasn't discovered until the food was brought to the office. Advice to put your food on the floor of your car (with rubber mats) or in the trunk in a plastic container in case of leakage. Really disappointed in whoever wrapped the food. read more
