This has been our go to spot for Mediterranean food at the office for years. We used to order from here often because they have great family meals for sharing as well as individual plates. I came here recently for the first time in a while and ordered a whole original rotisserie chicken with a side of Maison rice and potato salad. The meal also came with six pieces of pita bread and two garlic sauces. I ended up purchasing two additional garlic sauces for $0.95 each because I don't think two are enough for the entire meal. The meal easily fed three people, and we still had leftover chicken. The chicken is always moist, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The rice is also very good. I believe it's basmati rice, and it contains golden raisins that give it a slightly sweet flavor. The potato salad is tasty, but don't expect a traditional mayo-based potato salad. I don't think it contains any mayo at all. It has a tangy, slightly sour taste, and I think they may use red wine vinegar in it. The pita bread is good, but I like to put mine in the air fryer and turn it into pita chips. They come out nice and crispy, and they're perfect for dipping into the garlic sauce. Their garlic sauce is one of the best I've had. I've also tried the chicken fettuccine alfredo. It's flavorful and loaded with vegetables, but it's definitely a rich, heavy dish and can be a bit oily. If you don't mind splurging on calories once in a while, it's worth trying. For dessert, I usually get the pita chips glazed with honey and sugar and topped with chopped pistachios. They're absolutely delicious and incredibly addictive. I try not to order them too often because it's easy to finish the entire container in one sitting. Prices have gone up over the years, just like everywhere else, but they're still reasonable. Love coming here for a healthy and tasty meal! My go to is the Maison Special Salad. It comes with chicken breast, romaine lettuce, Maison rice, golden raisins, pita croutons, and shaved parmesan cheese. They are very generous with the chicken and rice. The lettuce could be cut up a little smaller; they're pretty large pieces. You get a choice of their Signature Lemon Dressing or Caesar Dressing. I always get the Lemon Dressing. it's so tart and refreshing! Salads also come with pita bread and their garlic sauce. It's so good, you'll definitely want to get an extra one! I also like getting their Chicken Fettuccine Pesto Pasta. It has chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, broccoli, and parmesan in a basil pesto. The portion size is huge! They also have some good Kabab plates as well! Finally tried Chicken Madison and we get the hype now!! We're so addicted to their chicken it's not even funny lol we ate it 3x in the past week lol no photos of the food because we got so excited every time that I kept forgetting to take a picture of our food +there are few locations but the Gardena location is in the same plaza as Domino's and Noodles Noodles. Limited parking available. +I was there for pick up so I didn't interact with the cashier too much but the girl was super nice and had such a nice smile, made everyone feel welcomed! +boyfriend and I ordered their regular chicken and spicy garlic lemon rotisserie and they were both FINGER LICKING GOOD omg. Both of chickens were so juicy and so flavorful we really can't pick one over the other. For sides we had white rice, spicy hummus and green salad a they were all great. The meal comes with fresh pita bread and their garlic sauce and you have to try them both with the meal. Seriously 10/10 would recommend. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and moist, and the best part is that it's still healthy! You can definitely split this into 2 hearty meals. I like to order all dark meat and get the spicy hummus and maison rice (it has raisins inside!) as my sides. The garlic sauce is not overbearingly garlicky and is just so addicting! I've definitely had better pita bread, but it's acceptable. Spicy gyro sandwich: 5/5. Sooo good! Love that it's loaded with juicy gyros. This is definitely a massive sandwich that will make you super full. The gyros are slightly on the salty side, but the tzatziki balances it out well! All the workers here are very friendly and kind :) There's a pretty small parking lot in the front, but I've never had trouble finding parking because people come and go quickly. Why oh why don't we have one of these in San diego???? We need one desperately!!! Please open a chicken madison anywhere in San Diego and we will welcome you with lots of hugs!! This place is so yummy! There are about 5 outdoor pup friendly tables. The staff is so warm and friendly and super helpful!! They even offered us some free hot sauce to try. But the best part is the food. Servings are huge and prices are incredibly reasonable!! We ordered the sole plate with hummus and cole slaw and the 1/4 chicken with spicy garlic sauce on the side, spicy hummus and green salad. The chicken plain was so tasty it didn't even need a sauce. Best Lunch I've Ever Had Quite literally the best meal I've had in a while. I got the lemon basil plate with 1/2 chicken and I ate it for 2 meals. What really made an impression was the care the staff had throughout the entire visit. I came in during my shift so the staff member gave me first responder discounts, a free drink, and a dessert on the house. I wish I got her name because she made the entire visit so enjoyable. Usually have had great food at this location. However, my recent meal last week was disappointing. Ordered the chicken & vegetable kabob, with sides of tabbouleh and coleslaw. Both sides were DROWNED in the dressing. It was overpowering. I'm guessing these were older or batches that were not freshly made. Unfortunately, the chicken I was served was undercooked and visibly bloody, which was very concerning and completely unappetizing. To their credit, they did offer to replace my plate, but explained that they cook their chicken to a certain temperature. Regardless, this was not acceptable to me. This place needs to turn down their really loud music. I called in to place an order and I could barely hear the guy taking my order. We had to shout back and forth over the phone. I told the guy their music and background was too loud that I could barely hear him. He made no adjustment to make the conversation better but put me on hold instead. My suggestion is to turn down your music or play something softer and more enjoyable for the customers. Shouting and yelling over the phone just to place an order because of the loud raunchy music playing is not good customer service. They don't even play music that everyone can listen to. It's a bunch of raunchy music and inappropriate for the restaurant. Also, one time I placed an order and when I got there they said there was never an order in place (which is total bs). They either lost the ticket or gave away the order. It was placed less than 30mins and when I arrived there was no order so I had to re-order again and wait. They were so nonchalant about it and didn't even care. Like oh wells, just order again. Some people have no time that's why they place orders in advance. This place should value more of people's time and be more courteous. Some of the workers do however work hard like the young lady sweeping, helping bus the tables, and bringing us things we needed.
