Service I placed a large order with Everytable in Inglewood for a high school varsity volleyball team, scheduled to be delivered by 2:30 p.m. The order was placed the night before and the website allowed me to select and pay for everything without any indication that there was an issue. Then, shortly before the scheduled delivery, I received a call saying they did not have all of the options I ordered. During the conversation, the woman I spoke with identified herself as the owner of this particular franchise and told me that ordering more than five of an item is considered catering. I explained that if that is their policy, the website should not allow a customer to place and pay for the order as a regular order. More importantly, changing the order at the last minute when I was depending on this food to feed an entire varsity team was unacceptable. What was most disappointing was the way the conversation was handled. I was repeatedly cut off rather than listened to, and the interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive. As a business owner, I would have expected an attempt to resolve the issue, particularly when the restaurant's own ordering system allowed the order to be placed. I understand that inventory issues happen and that businesses may have catering policies. My issue is with accepting the order, waiting until shortly before delivery to address the problem, and then speaking to the customer disrespectfully when they raise a legitimate concern. I was in this area (that I'm never in) around lunch time yesterday and had vaguely heard someone mention "Everytable" to me before so it felt like the perfect time to give it a try. (I had assumed it was a meal service kit company until now lol) I was greeted as soon as I walked in and asked if I had any questions or dietary restrictions and was provided with lots of recommendations and also a bit of history on the company mission. This was so impressive! (The girl working on 1/13/23 around 1:30-2pm was the sweetest she gave me her name, but I forgot it I feel so bad, but she deserves a shout out because she really sold me on Everytable! I believe her name started with an A so she gets 5 stars all on her own too lol) But anyway, the food Wow let me tell you I struggle with diversifying my greens and get bored with cooking healthy, but this Salmon salad was incredible. Arugula fresh, Salmon soft, but the star of the show was this Carrot dressing. Honestly, when I saw Carrot Ginger dressing I did not expect tasty, but after I tried it I immediately concluded they need to bottle this dressing and sell it because it's phenomenal. It paired wonderfully with everything and can we talk about the price? This was only $5ish dollars for Salmon in LA?! I'm in awe and so grateful I gave this a try. The Blue Magik drink was also a delicious way to get Spirulina in and I loved that it also had magnesium. (Both super beneficial in many capacities and I try to intake daily) Just blown away and eager to try more items! I hate to cook. I hate fast food. I live on a tight budget I crave fresh vegetables and legumes and a variety of fresh meats. I found that Everytable provides all this at a very low cost. I wandered into one of their 40 stores and tried the food. I was knocked out by the quality, variety, and low cost. Also the staff is warm and welcoming and very helpful. I started to buy a week's worth of meals at their online store. It was delivered fresh to my door by Doordash in 40 minutes. (I assume Everytable has a deal with Doordash.) I can choose the time I want the food delivered. Doordash is fast and reliable. There is no delivery fee if I buy at least $66 worth of meals. Of course, you can order the meals and pick it up yourself at the store. For $66 I got 9 meals that lasted me all week. I could go to the grocery store and spend $66 and still have nothing to eat without prep and cooking. I certainly can't afford salmon and chicken, turkey or beef at the supermarket, yet I get all these things in an Everytable meal. The hot meals are good to eat with only 2.5 minutes in the microwave. The cold salads are fresh and delicious, very satisfying. Everytable offers sweet treats, and breakfast burritos, and other offerings. Check them out. The packages list nutritional content, calories and ingredients. Get on the mailing list and received discount offers regularly that make your orders even more affordable. The mission statement for Everytable is to make healthy, fresh, nourishing food available to the community at a reasonable cost. It has done a splendid job of fulfilling its mission. Had such a great experience at Everytable! I saw this suggestion on Yelp when I searched for salads in the area, and was surprised when I walked in and everything was prepackaged in a cooler. One of the staff could tell it was my first time and explained their mission: they make fresh, prepared meals daily for community members to have access to healthy and nutritious food options, compared to fast food chains. And the best part, the cost of 1 meal is about the same as a stop at fast food restaurant would be! (Meals ranging from $6-8). After hearing this, I picked up the: Egg Roll in a Bowl, Trap Kitchen Curry Chicken, Thai Red Curry with Veggies, and a side of Roasted Chimichurri Potatoes. Everything was delicious, and the perfect serving size for me! My favorite was the Thai Red Curry. My only suggestion would be to separate the cheese on dishes in another container. There were several meal options I could not eat due to the cheese directly on food. It would be nice to have this in a plastic container, like the dressing, so it is optional for the customer. They also have a Pay it Forward program, where you can pay for a meal for someone else to use in the future when they need. A great company and I hope to see them expand to more locations! read more

There are a few microwaves on site so that you can heat them and eat them there, but most people just buy a bunch to take home and eat them throughout the week. It's like having someone else do the meal prep! The meals are very affordable at around $6-7 each. The quality is like what you would get at the counter at Whole Foods for $12. There is a slight discount if you buy 3 entrees, and they also have a points loyalty program. I bought: jamaican jerk chicken (which even came with greens and plaintains), spaghetti squash and quinoa-turkey meatballs, and a nut-crusted salmon. This location is priced for the surrounding South Central neighborhood, so it is less expensive than their DTLA and Santa Monica locations. I think it's really cool how this place is mission-driven to bring healthy, fresh REAL food to communities that might otherwise only be able to afford unhealthy fast food. read more

This the first of their locations, and it addressed a need for the community to have ready-made, healthy, and affordable meals for people who have long hours, multiple jobs, and large families. During this pandemic, they partnered with the City to provide emergency meals for seniors (like a free subscription), which I think is fantastic. The price of the meals depends on the location, so in the non-affluent area, meals can be $4 - $8 ish. I only like certain things and even though I don't enjoy certain dishes, I am sure someone might enjoy it or have some dietary needs. I dine-out, take-out, and order-in foods from many places, so I do not commit to a subscription, but I used to take advantage of deals when they had them. read more

I like their food and their prices but I get this delivered and their food handling practices are unsafe. They place an ice pack at the bottom of a foil bag, then stack the meals on the icepack. This goes into a regular cardboard box. No insulation. Only 2 meals touch the ice, the rest of the stack touching nothing cold. I put a refrigerator thermometer into the bag, left if for 20 minutes, and it was 60 degrees in the bag, 20 degrees warmer than safe food storage requirements. They leave this box with meat and seafood at your front door, in the Southern California sun. That's insane! I've contacted them about providing safer delivery and they ignored me. I'm sure the Board of Health won't ignore the situation. read more
