Baklava

Stopped by for dinner an hour before their closing time. I was greeted warmly and didn't feel rushed. Ordered the Beef Soltani Kabob with rice and lentil soup plus Baklava for dessert. The lentil soup was earthy and delicious. The Beef Soltani comes with a skewer of beef barg and a skewer of beef koobideh. Both were great, well seasoned and generously portioned. The rice is seasoned with saffron and was fragrant and complimented the meats well. The grilled veggies were a nice contrast to the meat. I was getting full, but we can't forget the Baklava. Sticky sweet with phyllo, honey and bursts of crunch of the pistachios it was a great end to a wonderful meal.

One of the BEST persian/iranian restaurants I've been to. On the pricier side but well worth it. Staff was attentive and friendly. Parking is hit or miss but there's street parking for the worst case. Just look at those lamb chops!

My family has been coming to this hidden gem for years, and it never disappoints. The boneless chicken is consistently excellent -- the quality is truly unmatched. I love that it feels elevated and elegant inside, even though you wouldn't necessarily expect that from the exterior or the location. The hummus and Caesar salad are must-orders every time. It's a perfect spot for a date night that feels special without breaking the bank. Service has always been attentive, professional, and top tier, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Highly recommend.

out in LA with a family wanted to try something quick and easy that is not super packed so we found a spot which is very close to our hotel. Food was all right. I've had better Persian food. the ghormi sabzi was very lemony. Service was quick and easy.

Nice vibe

Very friendly staff. We kept changing our orders and the gentleman was very helpful and made sure we are happy with our order. Nice environment too.

Hummus

We've been here so many times. Service is always good and fast. Easy to get a table right away most days. Food is consistent and good. Portions are incredibly big and you'll always have leftovers. Kabobs (ground beef and chicken) are our go-to. with side Shirazi salad and rice. Everything's always super flavorful, and the meat is amazingly seasoned and tender. Grilled veggies are a great side, and we sometimes get hummus and babaganoush which are also good. The pita/lavash bread is the only thing I'm not crazy about, they're like cardboard as soon as it's cooled down.

Stopped by on a whim and boy was I happy I made the right move. Ordered their Chicken and Beef Koobideh plate paired with a lentil soup and a charred jalapeño . The dish was perfect, the saffron rice was piping hot and the varied charred bell peppers, onions and tomato all just hit it right. The lentil soup also was very earthy and home comfort feel. The chicken and beef koobideh was succulent to taste, I simply devoured the plate. The owner was very nice and hospitable! Very glad to have stopped by!

Very nice staff; the owner greets you personally. The main food was good. The free soup was kinda watered down. Will repeat.

Great place! Carefully prepared and very tasty dishes. Stews and kabobs are both excellent. Really liked the ground lamb kebab and beef stew! Service was very attentive.

This place deserves 10 stars!!!! Que Rico! It's seriously a hidden little gem. I don't really want to put them on blast, but I must give credit where it's due. They've been here for over twenty years! It's a beautiful restaurant for you and friends or a nice little date (cough, cough). I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. She found it on Yelp, and so we tried it. It's A place we will most certainly be coming back to. We went on a weeknight, so it wasn't busy at all. The manager on duty and the waiter were both very tentative. The manager returned, checked on us, and asked how we were doing and if we were happy with the food and service. He returned with hummus and Greek cucumber yogurt on the house, just because. If you're in the LAX area, you should definitely try this place. It offers Amazing Service!

Our group tried 3 spreads: the Hummus Duck 'Nduja ($19), Baba Ghanoush ($19), and Liver Pate. The baba ghanoush was my fave - it had a nice smoky flavor, and the pomegranates were a unique addition. The duck hummus was pretty tasty and flavorful, but was on the salty side. The pita bread that came with the hummus was fresh and warm! The liver pate personally wasn't my fave, but we got it since our friends loved it. For appetizers, we got the roasted cauliflower ($24), trout crudo ($32), octopus ($36), sweet potato flatbread ($26), and the oyster mushrooms ($29). My faves were the trout crudo and oyster mushrooms. The oyster mushrooms were grilled nicely and are best eaten hot! The octopus was tender, and cauliflower had a good flavor. The sweet potato flatbread was interesting, with a sweet and savory profile. For entrees, we got the Grilled Dorade ($54) and the Whole Lamb Rack ($92), both of which were stellar. The fish had a unique and strong flavor and was so tender. The lamb was also perfectly tender and had a mild gamey flavor. Overall enjoyable meal, but on the pricey side.
