But I have to rave about 2 things, the vegetable dish and the history! 2 FAV THINGS: -I didn't order the vegetable dish but I WISH I had. It's like this wonderful looking stew. It looks packed with flavor and...curry? We also learned how long the restaurant has been in the area for. My memory blows, but I think he said 1990. -I love that it's very much a family business from what I was told. Not everyone eats at the restaurant they own. However, apparently the owner here does along with his fam. I'm just very into community and family so that's always nice to hear. AMBIANCE: The restaurant is small and cozy with what seems like traditional music playing :-). The guys in the kitchen also seem very polite as I went past them to use the bathroom. Which was spotless :-). Only suggestion & question: 1.)I can't recall if they have a changing table? And as a new mother I look out for that all the time hehe. Also, I'm not sure about parking. I take a ride-share when I'm there. They are on a hill and might have parking in the back? 2.)I have never been there to see if/when they do a buffet, but the menu is awesome. Something for everyone. Again I don't have anything to compare it to cause I don't generally eat it but It was delicious to me. I did expect some level of spice/heat which would have been nice but there was none, but again Im not familiar with the dish. My only gripe is I paid about $40 before Uber charges and expected the naan to be included or at least RICE. Nothing, I paid $6 extra for 2 little pieces of naan, not nearly enough to finish the meal and felt a little ripped off. I would like to go back in person and maybe get a combo or special or something not available on the app to see if I get more for my money.

Overall, I'd give the food 3 stars. The reason for my 1-star review is the way the restaurant handles water. We were automatically given bottled water before we had even looked at the menu, and at no point were we told there would be a charge. When the bill arrived, we discovered we'd been charged $1.50 for each 12-ounce plastic bottle. We had three, for a total of $4.50. This isn't about the money. It's about transparency. In most restaurants, water is provided as a courtesy, so presenting bottled water immediately to first-time customers without mentioning a charge feels misleading. If bottled water is the only water option available, that should be clearly communicated upfront. To make matters worse, there's a prominent sign stating that outside beverages are not allowed, which presumably includes bringing your own water bottle. After paying our bill and leaving a 20% tip, we suggested that first-time customers be informed about the water charge when they're seated. The response was a shrug and, "It's in the menu." Maybe it is. But if you're going to place bottled water on the table before customers have even opened the menu, the courteous thing to do is mention that it isn't complimentary.
