Delicious crispiest oyster mushrooms chicken on vegan brioche !!
Adrian C.

Glad to see they're thriving! Crispiest oyster mushroom chicken on vegan brioche in Los Angeles! Love this so much I will invite them to my theme park Artlandia when extant!

Just about to return our EV rental at LAX and realize I'll be hungry on the plane. Quick search = discovering Vegainz and omg, how did it take me so many years to discover it!? It's so so so good I am at a loss for words. There are gf items too. An airport that I used to dread, now I can't wait to fly into. Yummmm

This place is so good and worth the drive. They have good healthy vegan food. Definitely a must try if you're in the Inglewood or Hawthorne area

Ambiance and entertainment

Driving by you might think this is a weed shop....but honestly eclectic excellence is the only way I can describe the ambiance! There's literally something for everyone even a mortal combat retro gaming console to round out the concrete jungle decor. Let me elaborate there's a beautiful mix of artistic graffiti style street art and beautiful synthetic greenery and a wildlife video playing on the big screen with lo-fi music chilling in the background. The menu is a video menu and it's your guess what's in anything. You order at the counter where the cashier is ready for you super attentive and has a communal feel as I observed interactions with one of the regulars! I want the sushi but there's no breakdown of what's in it surf and turf sushi? What does that mean for a vegan place? I overcome my analysis paralysis by way of what I see playing on the screen to the right. The alkalize sushi roll that looks good.... I still have no idea what's in it How do you want it with chickpeas, crispy mushrooms or both. Let's go for both! I still don't know what else is in it, I ask about the juice of the day is mango and there's SOURSOP!?! Lord I'm SOLD!!!! Ok and the desert is looking tasty I'm going all in! With getting my food to-go, From ordering until I got my food was around 10min. When my order is ready my name called I'm then asked if I want any sauces she lists them off all sound amazing but for a sushi like roll I'm going with the buffalo hot sauce. She then grabs a juice the desert and before I leave I have to try it! One mistake I wanted the soursop juice but got the mango instead but I'm not upset it was perfect! Fresh ripe pure blended mango god that was so good!!! Now the roll.... I take a bite and I'm nearly crying it's so good. Nori outside quinoa instead of rice, garbanzo bean, crispy mushroom, avocado and I have no idea what else is in it!!! LOL It was flavorful and filling! I could just get the roll and be good the buffalo sauce is not necessary but even that seems house made and is delish. Like how TF do I have this epic abundant meal with drink and desert and walk out at $32.50 pre tip?!?! The desert is a big square piece of mango glaze topped cheesecake on a raw walnut crust. To be honest this wasn't very cheesecake like it was smooth creamy light but filling, it reminded me of a tres leches or could be an epic tiramisu! Needless to say as its own thing it's perfection! After eating everything I was full but none of the food was super heavy or super fatty so I thankfully did NOT regret my food choices afterwards LOL! Next time and, I'm going back, I will get the roll with only the crispy mushroom and I want my soursop! So good and such a hidden gem and actually affordable! Minus one star as the menu for a newb has no descriptions of the items and to accost the cashier with questions holding up the line is not ok. Minor factor with the cheesecake it's not like what someone would expect from a cheesecake, like zero tangy flavor profile and water based instead of fatty. I'm not upset but it will throw people off and menu clarity will alleviate any issues!

Krispy Chicken ( Fried Oyster Mushrooms)

I would rate it 6 stars if I could. Best Vegan sandwich I've had in Southern California. I got the "Krispy Chicken" sandwich, which is made from Oyster Mushrooms and has a vegan brioche bun along with onions, tomatoes, and peppers. It was FANTASTIC!! Totally mouth-watering, so fresh and delicious. I'm getting hungry right now talking about it. It was a BIG sandwich; they don't skimp on the portions here. I also ordered the Natural Cut Fries, and they were fantastic as well, crispy on the outside while soft on the inside, with great seasoning and not greasy at all. Also a very big portion. The Chipotle sauce I got ( your choice of 5 sauces) was bomb too! If you are anywhere near this place, you HAVE to stop. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. Good vibes inside the restaurant. It was a hot day, but it was nice and cool inside.

Came in last night after hating all day and was not disappointed. I ordered the Schicken sandwich and regular potato fries and the fresh soursop juice. I noticed the juice was very fresh and delicious as I drank it while I waited for my order. Once I got my order I was pleasantly surprised that they don't skimp out on the portions, there were plenty of fries and mushrooms on my sandwich and I ended up taking half the sandwich home. I definitely recommend coming here because the service was good and the food.

I love when vegan and healthier options are closer in the city and was interested in seeing what all they had to offer! I thought the service was extremely helpful as she gave us advice from a non-vegan's perspective which helped make the choices easier. I found the fries to be different but pretty good as well as the chicken wrap they offered. I wanted to enjoy the desserts but they didn't do it for me unfortunately but regardless glad I got to try it out.

I don't know. I love vegan food and used to be hard core. I drove to this spot after I saw a tik tok video. I wasn't sure what to get and the lady gave me suggestions but nothing sounded great. I opted for the "steak" taco and chow mean with "chicken". I also grabbed the strawberry/guava sea moss concoction for 10 bucks. That wasn't very good and I still have most of it in my fridge. Taco was fine. Mushy but flavored nicely. I would get that again. Chow Mein was confusing. I took 2 bites and I don't know if the flavor is fighting each other or its just a bad dish. It doesn't even taste like chow mean! The chicken does not go with the chow mein as it's seasoned differently. I will try them once more but not any time soon. I won't get that drink again...I will not get the pasta dish either. Also, service was fine with the young lady but then her boss started talking to her about the fridge or some business stuff while she was finishing up with me. He never glanced my way, said excuse me or smiled. He acted like I wasn't even there. My total was 32 or 35 dollars. I don't know...customer service is top for me and if a business doesn't have it, why should I patronize them?! I was disappointed with my meal. There was nothing of note to make me wanna return. Oh, well...

Berria mushroom tacos

The food was amazing I had Berria mushroom tacos, so tasty and spicy with a large amount of mushrooms nestled in a delicious tortilla with an sauce that was fresh and warm. Not little street tacos but an old school size. My guy had a burrito and he said it was delicious, also mushroom Service at window, the owner was polite and friendly and was excited about establishment. The dining area isn't large but we found a booth right away and enjoyed our meal. Definitely will return to try other vegan and healthy options

It is a small eatery on the corner in Inglewood. The inside is small and looks like a cute neighborhood joint. The menu listed many favorites seen in non vegan restaurants so that was comforting. I ordered the natural cut fries, steak, fried chicken and birria tacos. The fries were tasty but I wish they were a bit crisper. The fried chicken taco made with oyster mushrooms was so good along with the birria taco, nice flavor. The steak was not my favorite, it has an unseasoned mushroom taste which was not enjoyed by my taste buds! All in all, the staff were polite and service was quick, i received my order quickly.

The mushrooms and tamales were delicious and I highly recommend trying these two items!! Very down home soul food vegan food -- seasoned to perfection! Will provided great customer service and explained the menu items extremely well! Super nice young man. The dining area needs to be updated. The main thing which is the food was amazing. Definitely check them out!

Of all the vegan locations I've tried this has to be the worst and least tasty vegan food. No flavor at all no sauce not enough options. Customer service was ok. I wouldn't recommend

Everything was fresh, good portions and most importantly actually flavorful. The Seoul Bowl was the healthier option and still had plenty of flavor. The Po Boy sandwich was my fav.. not exactly "health food" but not overly heavy either. Just the right balance. I had never tried pea protein shrimp before so I was a little skeptical but it was surprisingly delicious and worked really well in the sandwich. We both like our food spicy and they were great about customizing it for us. They added jalapeños to my sandwich and gave us spicy mayo on the side which pretty much made the meal perfect for our taste. The grilled organic tempeh was the only thing I personally found a little bland but my wife really liked it so probably more of a preference thing than an issue with the dish. The Sunset Smoothie was thick, tasted great and was a very good portion. Yes, prices are definitely on the higher side but unlike some other places in the area where you pay premium prices and leave wondering why, here the portions and especially the quality made it worth it. We would definitely come back.

Second fave was the drunk cauliflower. And then the tikka masala. The Tikka was still good but maybe not exactly what I was expecting - very veggie heavy plate. It's a cute little spot, space is clean, and they have a bathroom for customers. There's a small parking lot in the shopping center where you can park for free too, yay!

They do have a parking lot, but it is small and can get full so when we arrived it was full. We did find street parking though. They have one side where you can order to go and pick it up, and then the right side will be where you enter and get the seating. There are two seating rooms and a good amount of seats. Not a ton, but still pretty good. They have one restroom that is pretty big and also clean. The menu is pretty straightforward. There's only two pages. They look the same but one side is gonna have a lunch and dinner special. The other side is gonna have a Sunday special. You can only pick from the plates, and you can add additional sides à la carte, but for the main entrées, you cannot add them additionally. So for instance, my man got the oxtail dinner plate. Which comes with three sides, which are actually very generous. Honestly, I figured that would've fed us both which it could have. But I wanted the fried fish, but there is no option to add that separately. You would have to just get another plate of it. So for the first plate, we got the oxtail. That came over a bed of white rice, which we didn't know. It was very good very filling. We also got a side of mashed potatoes with gravy, which was so good nice and creamy. Then we also got the sweet potatoes and that was delicious. Reminded me exactly of Thanksgiving. And we also got the mac & cheese, which I don't normally like mac & cheese but there's looked good. I wanted to give it a try and it was good. Very cheesy. Then for mine I got the fried catfish plate. You have the option of getting fried or steamed I think. And you have the option of catfish or swai fish. For my sides, I got the corn, okra, tomato. That was very good. Then I also got the red beans over rice. Which was so good. I've never had red beans over rice except for at Popeyes and this was like a 10 out of 10. Then we also got the collard greens which that's the only item I was not a fan of. I probably give that one a one or two out of 10. It was just very bitter for me. Our friends also got their own plate, my friend he got the steamed fish and he said it was really good. They also got a side of cabbage which I also wanted to get. They said that was really good so I should've gotten that. The sweet tea was good. It did have a hint of lemon on it if you did like lemon sweet tea. Overall, for the price point, this was really good and big. I can't believe you get three sides. I definitely feel like one box can feed about two people. Wait time wasn't too long and the servers were really nice. I do like that. The food comes in to go containers already because we had leftovers and that way we did not have to ask for to go box. I would definitely come back whenever I'm in the area again.

I ordered 2 dinners short ribs the Sunday special & a vegetable plate at 12:21 my number was 908 they started to call numbers that were higher than minds so I went back over to ask the window where orders are taken the young lady said they forgot to put my ticket in, I asked since they forgot could I get piece of chicken for the inconvenience she asked the manager who had went to help the kitchen and she said no. At 1:21 1 hr later I got my food, and to my disappointment when I got home the food was not good the yams i don't even have words for, the greens no seasoning and a lil under cooked, the succotash the okra not cooked well again no seasoning and a lot of end pieces, the black eyed peas no seasoning very bland, the cornbread was very thick. So sad the state this restaurant is in, they need to revamp too much going on door dash orders, online orders, dine in and orders at the window. So with that said this will be my last time going back to this restaurant.

I ordered two smoothies, one for me and one for my son: #17 and #31 IN STORE on Saturday, 9/19/26. As you continue reading, please keep the words "in store". When I ordered, the staff asked for my name and phone number. I thought it was a little strange that they needed my phone number since they call your name over the mic when your order is ready, but okay. They were busy, so I prepared myself to wait patiently. No biggie. But then I started noticing SEVERAL people who ordered way after me getting their names called and picking up their smoothies. That's when I was like, "Oh heck no, something ain't right!" After waiting about 15 minutes, I finally walked up to the pickup counter and asked when my name was going to be called. I gave the young lady my name, and she first looked over at the smoothies being made, thinking maybe mine was in the process. When she realized it wasn't, she checked the screen and asked, "Was it a phone order?" Nope! I told her I stood right there in line and ordered in person, and I had already watched several people who came in after me get their smoothies. She then looked in the freezer, pulled out ONE smoothie and said, "They had you as a phone order." Now I'm even more irritated because I ordered TWO smoothies. I told her I was supposed to have two, so she opened the freezer again and pulled out my second smoothie. So both of my smoothies had apparently just been sitting in the freezer while I was standing there waiting for my name to be called. I know the mistake wasn't necessarily the young lady's fault, but what bothered me even more was that there was no apology. Not even a simple, "Sorry about the mix-up." Moving into the neighborhood, I was genuinely excited about having this place nearby and supporting the establishment. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I don't think I'll be back. Maybe reconsider asking for a phone number when someone is physically standing in the store ordering, or have a clearer system for distinguishing in-store orders from phone orders. Because waiting patiently while your smoothies are sitting in a freezer the entire time is definitely frustrating.
