I downloaded the app for the reward program which was a little finicky and they helped me use the initial reward anyways with no issues. This place has zero hospitality, and poor restaurant ethics. Went in for breakfast with my friend on a Saturday morning and after 45 minutes, we were rushed out and asked to get up that they had more customers. Meanwhile, there were open tables and chairs all over the restaurant. We paid our bill gave a generous tip and we're continuing to finish our coffee. This place has become part of my weekly routine. The trivia night gives me a reason for it to be semi appropriate to come for dinner as often as I do but it really goes far beyond that. The staff are nothing but pleasant and welcoming. They make an effort to say hi to me every time I dine in. The food is versatile and I always find myself trying new things but my favorite will always be the roasted chicken. The drinks are well made but the staff (Santiago and Ariel) are always offering to make me something new and specific for my taste. In combination the food and drinks the place itself is quite chic and always has a very clean feel to it. Over all I would highly recommend this place to friends. A few bloggers I follow constantly go here and I was influenced to try it out myself! I heard the lattes were a must try so I ordered an iced vanilla latte with almond milk. Not even kidding, the best pick me up! Really want to know what almond milk brand was used in my latte (tried messaging on Instagram but no reply). As with all locations, the menu runs the gamut from paleo sandwiches and three-egg-scrambles to their amazing cashew yogurt parfaits and gluten-free bakery goods. You can get either sit-down service or take your stuff to go. Like all Granola Bars, the acai bowls are not good and are actually just like a sorbet soft serve rather than standard acai packets blended with frozen fruit like you will get at Juice Generation, Juice Shoppe, etc. Some people like it. Scene wise, Granola Bars are always fun in their own way. You get to see a wide selection of the well-heeled, newly divorced, overly health conscious, german-car-driving populace that call Westchester and western Connecticut home. The people who work here are always really nice and the legendary Turkish Coffee and Chicken Chili are both on the menu here. The 700 is still an amazing parfait. Today THE GRANOLA BAR OF RYE hosted a baby shower for my daughter. I cannot stress enough just how happy we are with the results. JC was the manager who made himself available every minute of the 4 hours we were in attendance. His staff was fantastic. They are so hardworking and pleasant and aimed to please everyone. All guests were asked repeatedly if they needed anything at all and always had some sort of drink available to them. I had a chosen menu consisting of appetizers, choice of three entrees, and desserts. Every single item was delicious. There were 40 guests and we received continuous compliments from them about every aspect. I cannot praise and thank the staff of The Granola Bar enough for making the mom-to-be and all her guests so comfortable, happy, and very well fed. I love this place! read more
