Worth the wait! Delicious fish sandwich, sweet Triple Mix, and the friendliest service at this Black-owned Baltimore gem. The food was fresh, crispy, and full of flavor -- definitely worth the wait. You can taste the seasoning and care in every bite. The famous Triple Mix drink was the perfect sweet finish. The staff was friendly and patient even with the long line, and the energy inside was pure Baltimore -- good vibes, good people, and a family feel.

Ok so the fish sandwich is def good. I got 2 and they messed up and put extra onions on the wrong sandwich, but no biggie. I ate the entire sandwich and surprisingly I wasn't food pregnant cause it's a nice size sandwich. It's just not worth the HOURS people stand outside for. My wait time was appx 1hr. I'll be back easily when it dies down.

I fed into the hype and had to check them out, but I was strategic! I went to The Gift just as the rain was slowing down. There was only about 5 people out less in front of me. I was right at the door. I ordered the viral fish sandwich abs French fries with gravy. The fish was REALLY good. It was so well seasoned and it was in a soft bun. The fries were regular but that gravy...OMG! That gravy was so good that the other food had to be amazing. I've heard the stories about people waiting 2-3 hours. I waited less than 45 mins total abs or didn't seem that long because of the friendly people in line. I would definitely go back if the line ever goes down! Pack your patience abs give them a try!

Overall, the food was good and reasonably priced at $17. The cheese fish and fries were tasty, but the flavors were pretty simple--something you could easily make at home. There wasn't a unique sauce or seasoning that really set it apart. I'd order from here again if the wait times were reasonable, but it's not worth waiting two hours for.

I love this place!! I had to wait a while to get my fish sandwich but it was worth it!! Support black restaurant!!

This time we were also notably impressed by the fry's too; nice and crispy and didn't get soggy with a hefty amount of malt vinegar. The servings are big and a regular to a large is usually only a $1 difference... get the large! They were having a special on jerk chicken and my husband got a whole chicken which we took to go and snacked on the rest of the weekend; it was amazing! The lobby and dining space were also nice and clean, fully stocked, and had lots of seating. I love the indoor picnic tables and the condiment choices (I'm a sauce boss!). We then had our flight delayed... by a whole day! And after our general annoyance we realized we would get to squeeze in one more trip to Chaps, blessing in disguise. See you guys again sooner than later, we'll be thinking about you till then!

So good! The Pitt beef was cooked medium rare (my request) and was very good! Loved the baked beans (have meat in them and green peppers and just had a good flavor! The fresh cut fries were also good! They also have pickles available too! Hubby enjoyed the triple d sandwich! Service: Service was excellent! The woman who took our order was great at answering questions and made sure we knew what we were ordering! They also have help staff in the dining room refilling condiments and wiping down tables. Also did take long for the food to be ready. Ambiance: Picnic tables, table and chairs as well as booth seating available. Not too large of a place but we found seats at noon on a Sunday!

This past Friday it was really chilly and my work colleague wanted some hot tofu soup. Not to mention this is one of the best Korean Pocha spots in the city, with a 70-80's retro street vibe features traditional Korean cuisine, Korean BBQ & other specialties. The wait staff was really nice and inviting. They were very knowledgeable about the various food options. It was really cool to hear catchy K-pop songs playing as week. The food is fire hands down. I went ahead and got the Teriyaki mayonnaise Cup Bap( rice bowl topped with the korean fried chicken, teriyaki sauce and mayo). So delicious, my friend got he soft tofu soup with seafood and we split a hot sake to share. I am still mad at myself that I have not come here sooner, I will definitely be back. Their fried rice dishes look amazing. I also love the price point here as well. For both of us it was $40 bucks. So if your in the station north area, please stop in. You wont be dissapointed SYOY

The only drawback to this place is its location, but if you don't mind the graffiti...definitely worth a try if you want some good Korean food. Full disclosure, this place isn't in the best part of town. The neighborhood leaves much to be desired. I think next time we'll order take out.
