The owner is such a friendly guy who came around to talk to yes. The meat is as fresh and seasoned well. It was busy so it would've been nice if they had more staff.
This was overall a pretty cool experience. Visited a few days ago for a friend's bday. There were a ton of us and the one server assigned to our area did a great job. That said, this is a place where you cook meats on grills in the table. You can order specific items but the unlimited options are the best way to go. All of the meats were EXCELLENT! Plus the available sides were great too! Craft beer selection could have been better, but otherwise, a great visit! Definitely want to go back in a much smaller group!
TLDR: Decent food but poorly managed for large groups. Service pacing, grill management, and overall execution made this a mediocre KBBQ experience for a party of 14. I would only recommend Steak N Bone for smaller groups. We had one server who was genuinely good and trying his best, but it was not enough support initially for a group our size. We were not given any say in the sequence of how we wanted to eat. All of the brisket was placed on the grills immediately, and a couple of pieces even rolled off the grill onto the table. It took a long time to cook, and when it was finally done, we had no salt, pepper, or sauces available. We ended up starting the meal eating completely bland meat. I usually enjoy brisket with garlic and wrapped in radish, but because of our party size, the radish ran out almost immediately and we had to wait for a refill. By the time it arrived, most of the brisket was already gone, and my garlic had just arrived and was not even cooked yet. We ordered two large combos, which was enough food for the table. With seafood pancake and cold noodle, the pancake was great but quite small. The banchan and sides were all fine, but the premium short rib was disappointing and not nearly as juicy or tender as what I have had at many other KBBQ spots. Our server continuously added meat to the grill and during the entire dinner only changed the grill once. I also did not love having pork and beef cooking on the same grill at the same time. The ambiance itself is fine and we had the entire upstairs to ourselves, which was nice. However, the overall experience felt poorly coordinated for a large group. Overall, this was a mediocre KBBQ experience and I would not recommend Steak N Bone for big groups
The food was fantastic- highest quality and best prepared food I have had at a Korean BBQ restaurant. We did the A side all you can eat and it was great value for all the offering with top notch flavor- also added the seafood pancake as an appetizer which was very very tasty- we had the garlic pork belly and bulgogi beef as protein , ramen which was spicy but tasty, dumplings, kimchi stew, shrimp shumai, rice and takoyaki. The service was friendly, timely and with frequent check ins. Aftering ordering, the first round of food was delivered in about 2-3 minutes!!!!! The atmosphere and ambience of restaurant is neat and gives a cool vibe-- great for friend outing or date night- great location .
Located in Canton it's really nice to have an all you can eat Korean barbecue spot in the city because usually you have to drive out into the county. I stopped in here with a group of six people. We did arrive right when they opened so we were seated right away. I would advise if you're not comfortable with street parking to come earlier because usually that's all that's available. There is no dedicated parking lot for this establishment. Steak and bone offers two all you can eat options and option be offers everything an option a plus some additional offerings. I would recommend going with option B if you have more people or people in your party that have very specific preferences since it offers more selection. When we went, there was also a bottomless mimosa option for $18. The food and quality were exceptional, and the steamed egg here comes with some sprinkle of cheese and once melted in with the egg it pairs, Perfectly ! Their waving soup also is so delicious and very flavorful and pairs nicely with the meat options. Our personal favorite is the brisket and I would highly recommend the brisket here as well. It was a good mix of meat and fatty pieces. The pork belly was a second contender. They do also offer the optional ice cream and is for an extra fee and it's available on the way out by the door. Before I finish this review, I have to mention the service . It easily may have been because we were the only group here for a while when we first arrived, but the service was very prompt. The food came out quickly, and even when guests started to arrive the food Pace maintained the whole time. A huge shout out to Kevin because he did great demanding the front of the house the entire time even as guests continued to roll in.
TLDR: Fantastic new AYCE KBBQ spot in Canton with great meat quality, excellent service, bottomless drinks. Highly recommend. Steak N' Bone is a long-overdue addition to Canton. Until now, if you wanted AUCE Korean BBQ in Baltimore, you were pretty much stuck trekking up to the small Koreatown in North Baltimore or heading out to the county. Having a proper KBBQ option right in the area is heaven sent. My group of six came in on Saturday fresh off the Baltimore Running Festival for our celebratory post race feast. We arrived right at opening (11 AM) and were seated immediately. The space is clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out with great tabletop burners and strong ventilation, no walking out smelling like grilled meat. We went with the All You Can Eat Option A ($41/person) plus bottomless mimosas and Natty Boh. Option A is perfect if you lean toward classic, non-marinated cuts. After our first order, banchan arrived quickly and was excellent. We confirmed that everything on the banchan, including the kimchi was made in-house and it definitely showed. Because we were starving, we kept the rounds of meat, mimosas and soju, coming. The standouts were the chadol (beef brisket) and samgyeopsal (thin pork belly). Simple cuts that really highlight meat quality and act as a litmus test for any KBBQ spot. And that's where Steak N' Bone impressed us most. AUCE KBBQ spots often get a bad rap for mediocre meats, but everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and 100% worth the price point. Service was another highlight. Our server Kevin was attentive and understood the assignment by keeping a constant flow of drinks and meat until we had to be rolled out. Overall, Steak N' Bone is 100% worth the visit. Great food, great service, excellent value, and a fantastic addition to Canton. If you live in the city, save yourself the drive to Catonsville or Ellicott City. Your new KBBQ spot is right here.
The food here was really good. I specifically enjoyed the marinated short rib. I thought it had really good flavor. The spicy pork belly was good as well. They do have all-you-can-eat options. Option A for $42 has a wide variety of meats, but Ooption B for $65 includes some premium cuts. They also have happy hour. This Korean barbecue establishment is relatively new and has been only open for about a year. I just recently found out about it. The service was good. There were times that we did have to remind our server that we needed more water, but he was very knowledgeable about the menu. The ambience is nice as well. They have a full bar.
**Quality meats and modern interior I'm surprised to say I really like this place!! I am a huge kbbq lover but so many places use low quality meats. This place feels different. The meats taste fresh and are well-marinated. I came in a group of 4 and we got the medium set. It was the PERFECT amount for us two girls and two guys. The banchan are super nice too; I loved the kimchi. For our sides (included in the set), we got corn cheese and kimchi stew. Both were served super hot on stone cookware. Yum!! Service is good; was a little bit spotty at times though. There weren't many people inside but we still waited a bit for refills and such. Not a huge deal for me though. What I loved is that they have those modern fan vents to collect the smoky air! Sooo much better than going home and smelling like kbbq for hours. Restaurant is in that big plaza in Canton, so parking may be a bit tricky.
I've been wanting to visit this spot ever since it opened. I finally had the time this weekend and was pleasantly surprised by how adorable it looks inside. This is definitely a great place for a group dinner or to bring family and friends. At first, I was worried that the two-person meal wouldn't be enough, but it actually was perfect for my boyfriend and me. I do wish the meat had been seasoned a bit more, but overall, the meats were super tasty! The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Korean BBQ in town, and I'll be back for sure!
Alexis, the owner of Steak and Bone, was super attentive and welcoming, it's not every day you see an owner out on the floor chatting with customers, and it really made the experience stand out. The place itself is small, but it's packed with plenty of flavors. I did the AYCE and was honestly surprised. I expected it to be like most Korean BBQ spots, but the quality of the meats was fresh, well-seasoned, and so good! On top of that, the customer service was excellent, friendly, fast, and they made sure we had everything we needed. I left completely satisfied! Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out.
Super good kbbq in Baltimore itself. The cuts of meat were on point, and they gave portions. Friend and I did not have AYCE- only a la cart. The corn cheese was delicious and the banchan was great as well. The service could have been a little faster as we did wait a someone longer time for some of our cuts, but to be fair the workers seemed overwhelmed and they said the kitchen was running behind. If they fixed that, easily would go to 5 stars! The restaurant itself is nice and cozy. Would recommend ubering or carpooling as parking could be tough in the area.
WOW! This spot is AMAZING! Totally blown away by not only the amazing food, but service as well. Craving KBBQ and came here yesterday for lunch and we ordered the small combo for two - chadolbaegi (brisket), spicy samgyopsal (spicy pork belly), bulgogi (marinated ribeye), yangyum galbi (marinated bone-in short rib) plus steamed egg and doenjangjiggae (soybean paste soup). Everything was absolutely delicious! The quality of the meat - chef's kiss! The standout is the galbi, please get the galbi if you get the chance the dine here. So tender and juicy. Lots of flavor. I love that they source their quality steaks from local farms. I'm half Korean so I can be a bit picky with KBBQ, but this spot definitely gets my stamp of approval. Terry was phenomenal! Provided top notch service and always checked on us. He took very good care of us. Thank you again Terry! Steak N' Bone exceeded my expectations! Looking forward to coming back!
The newest Korean BBQ spot to open right in the middle of the city in canton square, I'm so happy I don't have to drive to get Korean food anymore. The owner is an Argentinian Korean and super passionate about his meats and you can tell. This is not like the other unlimited Korean BBQ place (although they do offer unlimited for their brunch menu over the weekend from 11-3 with different meats). The restaurant is really big - the main dining area during the day gets excellent sunlight and feels really well lit. They also have a big upstairs to accommodate large groups. The Korean side dishes are really authentic - I love the rotating vegetables ( the first time I went they had Brussel sprouts and the second broccoli). The name of the restaurant is apt as the meats, especially the evening meat cuts are delicious as is - they cook it for you and sprinkle with maldon sea salt - I truly didn't want anything else interfering with the meat. You can get your unlimited experience during brunch but think of this as a really quality Korean steak place (the pork cut here is also excellent - moksal- which is pork shoulder).
If you are looking for an authentic Korean BBQ place with good quality food and reasonable price, this is definitely one of them. There was no wait time when we went during early dinner hours. Price: very reasonable for all you can eat, see pictures for price details Service: not bad, friendly and efficient Atmosphere: dark industrial vibe, great for gathering and drinking with friends, multi-level building. Food & Drinks: good quality meats, and the all you can eat come with tones of other items like corn, steamed eggs, ramen...etc. Good soju selections, they have my fav sugar and low sugar ones. I recently tried out Steak N Bone after hearing great things! This place is perfect for large groups thanks to the family-style dining set up and large booths. The banchan was yummy and included a variety of options. The corn cheese was also delicious. The meat seemed high quality and our server stayed on top of switching out the grill and helping us with menu suggestions. My main reason for four stars and not five is I think they could do better with their gluten free friendly options. One side of the menu was clearly marked for gluten free options while the other side wasn't, making it a hassle to flip back and forth and figure out what I could eat. Despite having quite a few gluten free options, they didn't have any gluten free soy sauce (or tamari). This would've really taken the meal to the next level as the gluten free meats come without any marination and are very very plain on their own. We also ordered large combo for 5-6 people which had a good amount of meats and sides but was supposed to come with six servings of rice. We never received the rice but weren't provided a reason or a discount. I'd return in the future but probably smuggle in my own personal bottle of tamari so I could enjoy the flavors of the meat more. Overall, the price at $215 for six of us (plus drinks) was pretty good, regardless of these small hiccups. read more
Steak N Bone is a solid choice in the Canton area for Korean BBQ. My friend and I picked the small combo for 1-2 people it was $75( so we each ended up spending a little over $40) It came with 3 Choice of Meats, 1 Choice of Premium Beef, 2 Choice of Small Sides, 2 rice and banchan ( the cold sides) We got Thin Sliced Beef Brisket,Pork Belly, Bulgogi Marinated Boneless Short Rib,Kimchi Stew and Corn Cheese. Then the banchan was the glass noodles, kimichi, kimichi cucumbers, daikon radish and we also got an order of dumplings. The food was delicious. The manager was the only one working and he handled us with care. Coming over to check on us periodically and even assisting with cooking some of the meat for us. For the amount of money we spent we were thoroughly satisfied with the portion of food given. Even ended up having some leftovers. I like to eat out and Steak N Bone is definitely going in my rotation. The restaurant is clean, bathroom spacious and noise level is moderate. read more

This place has really improved since they opened! This is now in my opinion the best KBBQ in Baltimore! They created an AYCE menu with extensive option for different sides like takoyaki, sundubu, corn cheese, dumplings/mandu, edamame, etc. The service was great like last time. If you don't feel comfortable cooking your food they can definitely help you! I love the casual vibe of this place. I'll definitely take more of my friends here when they're in town :) read more

We wandered in here on a Friday night around 7pm after grabbing a bottle of wine nearby. The service was great, every employee was friendly and attentive. We were seated in a few minutes and took a look at the menu, which is pretty expansive! There are lots of meat options for the barbecue, but they also offer different dishes for those who don't want just BBQ or want an entree along with it. We did the special for two with five meats, and everything comes with little bowls of sides like kimchi, salad, and veggies. We also ordered a side of the egg soufflé. Everything was delicious, the service was great, and it was a fun, interactive dinner in a lowkey, laid back environment. Welcome to Canton, Steak N' Bone! read more
Probably the best Korean barbecue I've had in a long time. This place offers a new all you can eat menu for 41.99. All of the food is very fresh along with the veggies and rice. The meat itself is very good and tender once cooked. The drinks are delicious and not too strong but gives you a good buzz. Parking is available around the street and not too hard to find parking. I can't wait to go back and try. Customer service is also very friendly and respectful. read more

The drinks were great! The bonchons were hitting! We actually ordered some to go lol. A few things I'd recommend is have more wrapping leaf options to have that authentic Seoul Korean "beaf & leaf' vibe! Also pick up or delivery options would be great! I'll be back. read more
Hands down, one of the best (if not the best) Korean barbecue experiences I've ever had. Everything at Steak n' Bone was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My wife and I ordered the small combo, which came with three regular meats, one premium meat, and two sides. We went with the sliced brisket, spicy pork belly, and bulgogi, plus the marinated short rib as our premium cut. For sides, we had the soybean paste soup and steamed egg. Every single item hit the mark--perfectly seasoned, great textures, and just overall top-tier quality (especially given that they source locally for their meats). My absolute favorite was the short rib - absolutely recommended. Beyond the amazing food, the customer service was excellent. Friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish, taking care of refilling any side dishes or water, and helping us with the grilling. The whole experience felt smooth, relaxed, and really enjoyable. We went in for lunch so we were seated immediately, and there weren't many people at all. The place is on the smaller side but very clean, and the grill was great to cook in. This meal was truly a highlight of the week, and we're already looking forward to going back. We're so happy to have a Korean BBQ spot in the Canton neighborhood! We visited on a Monday night to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. The place was fairly quiet, though a few tables were occupied, and it had a steady flow of customers. We were greeted promptly and seated right away. Our server was attentive and cooked the BBQ for us, which was a nice touch--we didn't have to cook it ourselves! We ordered the Korean BBQ set for two, and it was generous enough to leave us feeling quite full, especially with the two sides. The quality of the meat was excellent--definitely a cut above what you'd find at an AYCE place. The meat was so well-marinated that we didn't even need extra sauce. For sides, we had the kimchi stew and egg soufflé, both of which were delicious. We also enjoyed the banchan that came with the meal. For appetizers, we got the seafood pancake and dumplings. While we didn't care much for the dumplings--they were a bit too deep-fried for our taste and we didn't particularly care for the sweet sauce drizzled either. The seafood pancake was fresh and good. However, we would have preferred it to be crispier, but that's just a personal preference. I really hope this place does well. I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this Korean BBQ restaurant in Canton for months! I had the pleasure of trying out the restaurant during their soft opening and I cannot wait to go back for more. The restaurant spans over two townhouses with tables on the first and second floors. Some tables were for larger parties and some for a party of 2! The menu had a large variety of meat cuts so it would be easy to go with a group of friends and to meet everyone's needs. I only tried the Saeng Galbi and it was fatty and delicious! The sauces they provide were perfect accompaniments to the meat as well. I also go the Jeon appetizer and it ended up being the seafood pancake. The service was friendly and prompt and they were helpful in ensuring that I knew when to eat the meat on the grill! This place is so freaking good. I have had Korean barbecue twice. This was my second time and they made me actually like it. They're full of very flavorful of the hostess and our server were great. They had really pretty cocktails for an affordable price and it's all you can eat so I really enjoyed my time there. I've been thinking about going back for as long as I can remember since I've left Baltimore and I recommend everybody give it a try. read more
The service was fast and very friendly. They took time to explain the different meats they offer. The seafood pancake is so delicious! The steaks were tender, but be sure to put a little salt while you cook. I went with the a la carte meat and ordered a fried rice dish to share. It's a good choice when you don't want the available sides. read more

Cute little place in Canton. TLDR: Expensive kbbq, good service, limited banchan selection and decent meat quality. I came here with three girl friends who don't eat that much... and we were full after getting the set menu for 4 with the seafood pancake as an app. The bill was $50/person with tax and tip-- which is a lot but I suppose given the location in canton, you pay the price to not drive to Ellicot city or Rockville. Kbbq meat quality was decent and comparable to other places in the suburbs. I was a bit disappointed at how limited the banchan selection was but they did refill them as requested. The ayce weekend lunch option is likely a better choice. read more
We went here for Weekend AYCE Brunch and we had a great time! The service here is great and we enjoyed all the banchans. The meat was good quality for AYCE. We left full and happy. Our favorite cuts are the brisket and the pork shoulder. Their doenjang and other dipping sauces were great and light. It's also incredibly close-by vs a further drive into Ellicot City. There were plenty of tables and could accommodate groups of 6 or less in the main area, so great for large groups! We will be back here again. read more

Sauces and sides were packed with flavor, and the service was fast and attentive. As advertised, it's all-you-can-eat, so definitely come hungry! We tried the ramen and the miso soup, both rich and delicious. Overall, a great Korean BBQ spot worth checking out! read more
Overall, this was a great Korean BBQ joint with high-quality meat and great service. Our party had a total of 5 doing the large combo (serves 5-6 people for $215) - which comes with 9 meats, 3 premium beef choices, and 3 sides. This was a fantastic deal for the amount of meat we got - you definitely could do this deal for 6 people - maybe even 7 - and all walk out satisfied. All of the meat was fresh, tasty, and we loved it. The appetizers were a bit of a mixed bag - as the japchae pancake was bland and mushy, which was unfortunate. The shrimp shumai were good, but I probably wouldn't get an appetizer here again. The server was also very helpful and attentive. We had two people who didn't eat beef/pork in our party, so they sat the experience out and ordered some separate menu items. They accidentally ordered noodles with beef (to be fair, it didn't say beef on the menu) - but the server was more than happy to get them a new dish and didn't charge for the noodles. On to a couple of negatives, which isn't many but definitely impacted the experience. For starters, online it says they are open until 3 am on Friday/Saturday - however this wasn't the case. Our reservation was 9:15 pm - so we were under the impression we had more than enough time, but it was actually meant to wrap up at 11. Again, our server was great and didn't rush us - but they definitely need to update something online. The other issue with online versus in-person, is that it is currently BYOB. If you go to their menu on their website, it lists alcoholic drinks. But make sure you plan on doing BYOB. Luckily, I noticed a discrepancy in the menu online versus looking at photos people posted of the menu (which had no alcohol) - so I emailed ahead of time and they said it was BYOB, so we brought our own soju. Also, I had emailed the day prior to up our reservation from 6 people to 7, and I got a response that it was updated, but when we showed up, we were still marked for 6. Luckily this didn't impact our seating - but since they only have one table upstairs meant for a large party, this definitely could have been an issue if someone else was seated there when we showed up. Overall, I would recommend this joint. Maybe avoid appetizers and make sure you plan on BYOB if drinking. I think this place has great potential, maybe it's just working out a few kinks currently as it is a newer business. read more

My new hyper-fixation. I have been 3 times in the past month - one visit with a large group and the other visits with small parties. Only one visit was the service slower, and the manager comped us a round of drinks and an extra plate of the spicy chicken. Otherwise service has been great every visit. We don't typically do the AYCE because we find the value of the combo combined with the amount of food is perfect. Food has been spot on each time. My favorites include the spicy pork belly, bulgogi, and thinly sliced brisket. Sides that come with it are great, but our chosen sides are always the corn cheese and egg soufflé. This is our favorite Korean BBQ spot now, we are so happy this is the city. read more

There aren't many Korean BBQ restaurants in Baltimore city, and many aren't great either. You have to drive to Ellicott City for good Korean food, so I was excited to check this place out hoping to have a new favorite. My go to KBBQ restaurant in the city is JongKak, in Ellicott City it's Shin Chon. After trying SteaknBone, I'm disappointed to say, I won't be returning any time soon. I'm sure it'll be a hit in the canton area as they don't have any competitors. Their combos are a bit pricey and if you're getting a la carte, not a lot of side dishes are included so you will have to order any additional side dishes you'd like. We ordered the spicy chicken and thin beef brisket which were good, not the best, but the side dishes weren't. I ordered soybean paste soup that was missing spices so it didn't taste like anything, steamed egg was also disappointing. We met the owner and his nephew, no issues with the service, they are friendly and attentive. read more

I really happy to find thr new place in Baltimore area. I am a Korean. But I am not a big fan of the meat and very picky. The quality is very good and the service is good too. I highly recommend this place. read more
