Fries - A basket filled with French fries is placed on a table, lined with yellow and white checkered paper. The basket includes two small metal cups of dipping sauces, one with ketchup and the other with a creamy white sauce. In the background, there is a plate of cooked green beans or similar vegetables, a glass of water, and a bottle of Swick. The setting appears to be a casual dining restaurant with wooden tables and ambient lighting.

The Fly really focuses on doing one thing incredibly well! The chicken is juicy and well seasoned. We got all of the sides and had the price fix deal. The atmosphere is cool and seating configuration is comfortable, but we were sweating our butts off in the back with no fans or air conditioning. The Caesar salad was delicious and a huge portion. It was well sauced and had a great crunchy topping. The string beans had a bit of a kick to them. The potatoes and fries were fine. The potatoes were cooked well but lacked any special flair, it was just potatoes and salt and there was a bunch of sauce underneath them but it was the same sauce the chicken had so kind of redundant. The fries were nothing special, a little oily kind of soggy in the middle and most of our fries were tiny little broken pieces, about an inch long and shorter. Our waiter was fantastic. A great guy who checked in often and always was kind and helpful. My absolute favorite thing was the doughnuts. I could eat those forever!!! Super hot and fresh, lightly crispy on the outside and soft inside with this amazing lemon sugar syrup. To die for!!

We walked in for a party of 3 on a Sunday night and was able to get seated right away. All the drinks were good aside for the spritz. It seemed like the orange peel was a bit too aged making the drink really bitter. All the food we got was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly charred and season. Chicken and juice. With 2 different sauces, we got to enjoy it differently. We got the specials for the night and all 3 was good. Aside from that, they probably have the best curation of songs in their playlist. It was so vibey that it made us want to go out on a Sunday night. Highly recommend this place for a date night

Full Chicken // Fries // Broccolini with Feta // Caesar Salad - A dinner table with a variety of Mexican dishes, including a bowl of grilled chicken, a basket of French fries, a small bowl of green salsa, grilled vegetables with cheese, and a salad. The table is dimly lit with a small candle, and there are plates, utensils, and a napkin visible.

The rotisserie chicken was **chef's kiss*** After a long day of walking, we ate in silence and in awe of the flavors and tenderness of the chicken. The caesar salad was surprisingly yummy too! The fries were well seasoned (my friend found them a little too salty), and we could have passed on the broccolini with feta tbh. But the chicken with the green sauce!! Insane.

The Fly is a small moody restaurant and bar that is great for date night or small groups. It is dimly lit with seating at the bar and in their dining room. As the name suggests, come for the chicken and just add a side. The food is great and the limited menu allows them to focus on what they're great at. The drinks are also very good here so I could even see coming here to sit at the bar for a drink or night cap without ordering any food. The hostess was incredibly friendly and the servers were pretty kind as well. It is definitely a great place to go for a late night bite.

Chicken, white sauce - A restaurant table is set with multiple dishes including roasted chicken, vegetables, and sauces. There are wine bottles and glasses on illuminated shelves behind the table, creating a warm, dimly lit atmosphere. The scene includes a person in the background and various dining items, indicating a casual dining setting.

Yum yum white sauce. So good! Love the chicken and the service. All around lots-o-fun!

Whole chicken and fries. - The image shows a restaurant table with a basket of French fries served with ketchup, a roasted chicken leg on a plate, a bread roll on a small plate, and a drink in a tall glass. A person wearing a yellow Nike shirt is partially visible, and the table has various dishes and utensils. The setting appears to be casual dining with a focus on comfort food.

This place is SOLID! Had it on my list for over a year now, and finally went with my uncle and cousins for a belated Father's Day dinner. I think it's a great-sized space with ample indoor AND outdoor seating (which we capitalized on) on a quiet block, on a Sunday evening. AC was blasting on the inside when we went, so I had no problem with outdoor seating. You might be thrown for a loop when you're given the menu. 7/8 of it is devoted to drinks, and you'll find the tiny food section in the bottom lower right hand corner of the 2nd page. Rotisserie chicken is the specialty here, and that's what we came for. You won't find much else on the menu beyond fries, bread and potatoes. Hector was an AWESOME server, and handled my uncle's conversation (who'd had quite a bit of drinks in his system already from the day) very well. He revealed the additional specials not shown on the menu, and my cousin opted for the fried brussels sprouts, which were kind of amazing. Freaking decadent even, if you've ever described a vegetable this way. We got a whole chicken for the table and both the white and green sauce to sample. GET THE GREEN. Even if you're not a spicy-lover, like me, GET THE GREEN SAUCE. The chicken was delicious, well-seasoned, tasty skin, and perfectly JUICY all throughout. They know how to handle their specialty. My family was thoroughly impressed. We also got a basket of fries which were on point. Apparently this place does wings sometimes, but they weren't available that day (sad face) or we would have surely added them to our order. I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.

    Half chicken and green beans

In town visiting friends and family and went here solo on a Saturday night and it was packed! I was still able to immediately sit down at the bar and get a drink pretty fast. Had to kinda flag down a waiter to order food but the meal came out super quick! I got the half chicken with green sauce and the green beans. Both were soooo tasty. Only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is their cocktail list mostly consisted of aperol and bitters drinks and wine/beer. I enjoyed to jungle juice but I'm not big on aperol so I didn't love it. Thanks for the quick service and chill wait staff, I always feel weird dining solo but they made me feel super comfortable and relaxed.

Visited the Fly when I was in town based on a recommendation from my friend and it did not disappoint. It's first come first serve so be sure to come early if you want a larger table or have a preference for your seating area. We didn't have any issue getting seated and were quick to order. We ended up getting some items to split between a table of four and it was almost more than we could finish. | WHAT WE GOT | + Whole chicken (with white and red sauce) + Fries + Green Beans __________________ Really enjoyed the skin and flavoring of the chicken. It was brought out to the table on a tray and all the juices were flowing. Loved pairing it with both the white/red sauces mixed together but if I had to pick I would order more of the white sauce! Fries were solid as well and the green beans had a nice crunch which was a nice addition to the textures of the juicy chicken & crispy french fries. Sounds like a balanced meal am I right!? Be sure to also get a bottle to share among the table because why not? Solid service that always ensured our glasses were full and table was cleaned to free up some space while we were sitting outside.

Yum! Don't let the simple menu deter you away because food here is delicious and packed with flavor and uniqueness. We ordered the 1/2 chicken with white sauce (it was cooked so well with lots of juice), some wings which were the special, chicken sandwiches, and a couple sides of potatoes and asparagus. The chicken sandwich was shredded chicken with some sort of relish deliciousness and came on a fresh baked bun. The sandwich itself was so freaking good, 5/5, but be prepared for a giant mess because the bottom half of the bun gets super soggy and just sorta collapses. I finished my chicken sandwich with a fork. The table ordered a round of cocktails, Manhattans and aperol spritzs (all good), and a bottle orange wine to share. I'm new to orange wine, but apparently it's the new rose. It's good, crisp and refreshing with a hint of orange to it. The restaurant, like most in the area, is small. Very simple. No art on the walls. It does get really really loud though which is a problem for my husband and his very sensitive ears. Otherwise I really appreciated the simple menu and atmosphere.

Caesar salad and half chicken and bread and white sauce - The image shows a wooden dining table set with various dishes including a large Caesar salad topped with cheese and croutons, slices of bread on a white plate, roasted chicken pieces on a metal tray, and a glass of white wine. A small candle in a holder provides warm lighting. A person’s hand is reaching for a small bowl of sauce or dip. The background suggests a cozy restaurant environment with other tables and chairs.

Delicious. I've only been once but ever since I crave their white sauce. It is so fresh but creamy and perfect for the fried chicken. The Caesar salad is also amazinggg (more anchovie flavor than your usual Caesar) but that's part of why I love it. Plus the long romaine lettuce. The bread was very bland, wouldn't get again. But that white sauce !!!!!!

A Caesar salad with chopped romaine lettuce, grated cheese, and croutons is presented on a white plate. The salad appears fresh with a generous topping of cheese and crunchy croutons, placed on a wooden table in a restaurant setting. The background shows chairs and tables, indicating a dining environment.

Came here for a reservation of 10 for a friends birthday and had an amazing time. The food is AMAZING, truly the best roasted chicken I've ever had at a restaurant. When you have a larger party sized it's fixed price per person and you get everything on the menu, and honestly I think that's the way to do it. You know it was good because I forgot to take photos of everything past the first course of Caesar salad. Service was quick and the ambiance of the place is super hip. Cocktails were also a hit across the board. I feel like it's rare these days for me to find a place where everyone in a group of 10 gives the meal 5 stars and that's what this was. HIGHLY recommend (esp for large groups) and will be back!

Whole chicken, potatoes, green sauce, white sauce, special Brussel sprouts, green beans - The image shows a meal with roasted chicken on a metal platter, accompanied by roasted potatoes in a white bowl, a green sauce in a small white dish, and a salad with greens and cheese on a white plate. Additional small dishes contain black seasoning and a green herb mixture. The dishes are arranged on a wooden table, with a candle visible on the right side.

Highly recommend. Went during peak hours so we put our name down and got drinks near by. 100% worth the wait. Our favorite dish was the special for the night, Brussels sprouts with aioli. Beautiful interior! Best to share everything family style and get both sauces.

They do one thing, but they do it really well. Their chicken is worth the hype. Pair with some fries and a martini.

The small plates were very good, but Rude Mouth has taken *more than a small cue* from Bar Jambon, in Gramercy, the wine bar connected to the Michelin-starrred restaurant Casa Mono - in their wines and their small plates (ham, bread, butter, etc.) Who can fault them, really?
