This used to be another spot, The Swan moved in and did the remix. This is a friendly after work spot located in Bed-Stuy. TV's are everywhere, it was soccer on tonight and the bar was going wild. The drinks are top shelf and flowing, the prices are affordable, and this bartender will mix whatever you desire. I was invited here for after work drinks and The Swan did not disappoint. The service is friendly, the bartender is attentive, and there's a wonderful seating area in the back yard if the bar scene is not for you. I had Espolòn Tequila and pineapple juice which was s tasty and not too sweet. The shots of Espolòn Tequila made my night. I like my wings HOT. The hot wings with cayenne based sauce and ranch were definitely worth the trip. Come out and enjoy the casual atmosphere on any night, seating also available out front. The after work prices are available on Saturdays and wait for it... they have alcoholic smoothies (did I say that correctly?) Come thru support local business.

The chicken sandwich was absolutely flavorful and exactly what I needed.

Great restaurant and sports bar in bedstuy. Beautiful decor with televisions throughout to watch your favorite sport (soccer, football, basketball ball... they have it all!) They have Taco Tuesdays so if you love sports and Tacos, Tuesday is your day! I enjoyed the ambiance. It's perfect for drinks with friends or a casual date. Beautiful decor and lighting and it wasn't too loud so you wouldn't have to speak loudly to be heard. Service was also quick and friendly. I'd definitely be returning soon. *Not 100% sure but i believe this establishment was previously called Black Swan. I think it's under new management and I like this version! A LOT! Give it a try.

The carbonara is great! Liked the chili and wings, too. And can't go wrong with pub fries. The waiter was nice, too. Much bigger inside than it looks! So nice to eat in a bar that doesn't smell like stale beer.

Martin builds some of the best cocktails I've tasted in this area and the steak was great. (Kudos to the chef) Loved the ambiance and location as well.

No frills bar food during happy hour. Loved the chicken bites and pretzel! We also got the mozzarella sticks and they were good.

The atmosphere is rugged, familiar, heavy with regulars who know each other. That can be comforting, but it also means new people feel a little on the outside looking in. Their beers are solid, the vibe is strong (sports, darts, classic pub banter), and it has the bones of a great local hangout. But there's a resistance to change or warmth toward newcomers, which makes it feel like a place "for the in crowd." If they worked on opening the door just a bit more for first‑timers (friendlier service, small gestures of welcome), Paddy's could be even better. As is, it's dependable and characterful -- just not always inclusive.

Between the welcoming and gracious owners, Mark and Teresa, and the on the ball bartenders, you can see why the patrons enjoy coming back here again and again. The beer selection has diversified over the years but it's the Guinness that's truly the stand out and probably the best pint I've had poured in Brooklyn. They have a total of seven TVs which is more than some locations twice the size and ample seating at the bar and tables. They show Premier League and will open up early for every Arsenal game but they will also show other sports like rugby, college and pro football, hockey, etc. While there is no kitchen, you're more than welcome to bring in your own food and they often host local food vendors for big weekend games. With winter now in full effect, the hot cauldron of cider is now up and running, so what are you waiting for? Head down to Paddy's and find your new favorite local.

The energy was more mature which I preferred in a sports bar. Tons of benches, some bar seating and pool tables in the back. Lots of tvs as well, saw all the March Madness games playing. I imagine it would be great for big games. That being said I came to pregame Knicks-Nets and as we got closer to start-time a lot fans came to watch game (very easy walk to Barclays- 10 min walk). The food was solid and service was pretty good. Good beer options, had the happy hour margarita. They are strong! You've been warned.

We were debating between regular wings or smoked and best decision of the night was picking the smoked wings. It was crisp and not too saucy, keeping the wings as the key. Both the steak sandwich and burger were very good and well priced. I wish the burger was bigger though. Service: 5/5 There was only one waitress and one bartender at the time, but service was very quick. We did not have to wait for anything. Ambiance: 5/5 We were looking for a sports bar to eat at before going to the Nets game. Fulton Hall is only few minutes walk from Barclays. It was not crowded at all and was perfect to relax and grab a bite before going to the game.

The venue is pretty spacious they have a back dining area, a big bar when you enter and a full bar upstairs. There's a ton of televisions if you are watching sports as well. You can't go wrong with a potato vehicle to fresh toppings. All and all great fun spot for sports and gatherings. Also this is a melting pot. Various ages, groups, backgrounds, saw a few families. In general, I like the mellow / peaceful vibes of outer borough NYC Irish pubs at lunchtime. McMahon's did not disappoint. Solid buffalo chicken wings & good burger. I am also post fries (I will try one or two of yours, but I don't need an order of fries for myself.), so can't comment on the fries. They also make a mean Caesar salad. The Caesar & buffalo wings are pretty much my metric for all Irish pubs. McMahon's would def be in the upper 50th percentile. There are a bunch of negative reviews for this spot on here for when they are very busy, on Barclays Center game nights and / or weekends. I feel like, if you read between the lines, it's people coming in groups when it's busy acting entitled. The staff at lunch has been nothing but courteous, w/ excellent service. Also, very clean inside, & food was good quality / fresh ingredients. There are almost no Irish pubs in this area open for lunch anymore at all - thank goodness this is a good one!
