Saw lots of great reviews on Yelp for this one. Visited with my wife on Saturday, October 8, 2022, for dinner. We loved the wall hangings in here and the bartender had Van Halen's 1984 album going on vinyl. A procession of locals came through the door as we waited to order. A very good sign. We ordered the pork belly appetizer ($14) from Rachel. This came on a bed of coleslaw, and was topped with sesame seeds and wontons. The appetizer had a huge portion of perfectly cooked pork belly; moist and the wontons and sesame seeds gave it contrasting textures. We both ordered the bison lasagna ($22 each). I had the Mexican Logger ($6) by Ska and my wife drank a Fat Tire ($6). The lasagna came with two pieces of toasted, buttered, crostini bread and a small portion of spinach. I would have loved some fresh garlic on that bread, but it still tasted good. The bison had a wonderful, non-gamey taste and I enjoyed the three-cheese blend: parmesan, mozzarella, and ricotta. My lasagna came with the house chop salad. This chop consisted of shredded kale, Brussel sprouts, toasted almonds, pecorino cheese, topped with lemon mustard vinaigrette. My fresh salad bursted with the sharp tang of the vinaigrette. A lovely pairing. I don't know who the chef is, but a raise is warranted! Everything tasted great and the portions were large. Visit this establishment for drinks and a delicious meal. Note: they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. They only open for dinner from 5 til 9 PM on other days of the week. We were going to have dinner here. We had our dog with us and they had a patio in the back. The only table available was in the hot sun (it's July and we got off the 4 wheeling trail). We attempted to move the picnic table over a few inches into the shade when some jerk comes out shouting, "where not moving tables guys!!!" A nice couple offered to share their table with us but the way the jerk handled the situation there was no way we were giving them our business. He could have easily said, "can you please not move the table?" Rude people suck!!! read more

I would give less than 1 star if I could. The food here was actually not all that bad, but our experience with the staff blacklisted this restaurant for me. We checked in at approximately 6pm asking for a table for 2. The hostess took our name and number. We were told 20-30 mins, which I felt was very reasonable. We hung out inside for a bit, but there was nowhere to stand, so we decided to sit in our car while waiting, which was right out front. After 45 minutes had gone by, we decided to check with the hostess for an estimated timeframe. We were treated extremely rudely by both the waitress who came to the front and then subsequently the hostess. We were treated as if we were an inconvenience for simply checking on our table. We were told at this point that it would be another 30 or so minutes, and no guarantee on that time frame either. We decided to walk around the Main Street of silverton while waiting then, since we had already tried the only other (open at the time) restaurant in town. An HOUR later, we came back (fairly annoyed at this point) and saw a group that had checked in behind us was already seated. When I asked why, I was given another extremely rude response that we "weren't around" when she called out our name (despite having taken our phone number down). We explained that we had been waiting for almost two hours already, but we're still told another 20 minutes. Over two hours after we originally checked in, we were finally called for our table. I ordinarily would not even consider waiting this long, but Avalanche brewing had a wait as well by this time. So we were stuck. We ordered the brussel sprouts for an appetizer right away because we were starving. Our waitress was not very nice, although not outright rude either. Our appetizer and water came almost immediately which was so nice, and really actually was quite good. However, our food order of a salmon dish and a lasagna plate took over an hour to come out. While we were seated, smoke came pouring out of the kitchen into the dining area, and I was worried we would need to evacuate. The staff didn't even acknowledge it, and eventually we got our food. The lasagna was bubbling hot and couldn't be eaten right away. The salmon was cold and rubbery. I couldn't believe we waited so long for disgusting, inedible food- and it was outrageous!! I will never return, despite loving the town of Silverton. Highly recommend you skip this place too! read more

Stopped in Silverton for one night as we drove the San Juan Skyway on Labor Day weekend, 2022. The place was hopping which was a good sign. Servers seemed a bit frazzled but were welcoming and friendly. We both started with an Old Fashioned and the Shishito peppers (man, there's a ton of 'em but sooo good) then moved on to the main course. Companion had the bison lasagna and I had the BBQ chicken confit...both really very good. Add to all that the friendly chat we had with a young couple sitting next to us and I'd say it was a great experience. read more

We enjoyed a tremendous dinner at Eureka Station on their first night open for the summer season. The food (bison meatloaf, salmon, soup, Mimi's blackberry cobbler), service, ambience and value for money were all outstanding. The menu is purposefully limited so that each dish is a star, the prices are certainly on the high side but worth it based on the flavors and food quality. I cannot imagine giving this restaurant anything less than five stars based on our experience. read more

What can I say? This isn't just the best meal in Silverton, it's one of the best meals I've had anywhere. I had the bison meatloaf which was cooked to absolute perfection with a soft moist center and a perfect char on the outside. The carrot and celery medley, which sounded rather uninspired when I read it on the menu, was cooked perfectly in its own gravy. Then I had the cobbler for dessert. Holy f$&#. It is served a la mode with fresh whipped cream as well. It was also cooked to perfection. It was soft and moist on the inside and the top had caramelized sugar that gave the dish a texture that elevated the dish to another level. It's obvious there's nowhere else in town that competes because there was a line when they opened their doors. Be patient. They're slammed for a reason. Your patience will be rewarded. First off let me fan girl this place quick. I'm a man that loves to eat and cook. This place is one for the books. Yes I'm gonna sound like an asshole for thinking eh this is the middle of nowhere the food can't be that good....well I'd beg to differ. Completely blown away from the hospitality to the food was amazing. I had one hell of a spread and drinks for under $70 what I got if I spent $150 I wouldn't of event minded. But the quality. Taste presentation and did I mention the taste? This place is a MUST for dinner after a day of busting yiur ass at the Mountian Enjoy my pics. Sorry the wings didn't get a pic. I had heard good things about this place and when we arrived they were nothing short of rude. After 15 minutes they still wouldn't take our names to put us on the waiting list. When I told the main server that we were leaving because of it, she just shrugged and could care less. It really didn't make sense why the bartender wouldn't serve a group of 12 who wanted to order a round of drinks before getting table...he chose to clean and separate glasses instead of serving us. Friendly owners, great staff and superb food! What's not too like? This place is such a great addition to Silveton. While I can always find good food in Silverton, it's usually pretty normal meat & potatoes, pizza, mexican and pasta. Nothing exceptional. This place changes all that. There is a very creative menu. I ate here twice and saw several other options go by. If you want a good portion of food, the tacos and the pasties seem to be a good amount of food. The soup of the day was good. The wings are excellent. I had some panko/andouille crusted piece of salmon which was great. I had the meatloaf another night that was also good (both items could have used a slightly larger piece of meat). The brussel sprouts were very good. Maybe a little too sweet (balsamic vinegar heavy maybe?) but still perfect to share. Upstairs they have a few more tables and pool tables. Definitely stop in and sample some apps or a full meal. Fish and chips looked great. I heard people rave about the risotto. read more

I'm travelling solo, so I sat at the bar, where Nick in his Broncos cap attended to everything while commanding the bar. Waitress Amy kept the corny jokes coming amidst Nick's eye rolls and droll commentary. Nick is also in charge of the music, spinning the vinyl old style, with great eclectic selections including old style blues (which I love). Food was delicious simple fare. Really great cajun carrot soup, fresh made, just the right amount of zing on the spices. I'm from Louisiana, so this was really spot on. I also had the pork chop, almost the size of a baseball mitt, with zucchini and garlic mashed potatoes. All good fare. Great food. Welcoming staff. This place is awesome! Our first time dining in since covid. I felt extra safe here, they required masks and the servers wore masks in addition to spacing the tables 6 ft. They didn't allow any bar seating. Thank goodness for places like this that actually care about the safety of others. They had bison on the menu YAY! Visited again on 6/25 and they were open this time! Hooray! However, the Cornish pasties do nothing to dispel the stereotype of bland English food. My girlfriend and I split a "traditional" pasty. It appeared to be filled with boiled veggies and watery, gray gruel. I really wanted to like it but...nah. Flavorless. This place also fails to live up to its billing as a "gastro pub" -- the menu is TINY. Hope you like pasties. read more
