Italian Hot! So good!!! If you like spicy :)

Italian Hot! Sooo good! If you like spicy! Recommend by my server. Been here twice. Been great both times!

Neat little place in the heart of Silverton. The pizza was very good and I also had a regular panini which was okay and slightly smaller than I expected. Our server was very nice and the place had a friendly vibe to it. I did not try any of their beers but their beer list did look good. Would return!

We stopped in for a few beers after exploring Silverton. A little disappointed they were out of half their beers, we tried tasters of the red, brown, and stout. We both decided on the stout, and enjoyed two each. We decided to split a build your own pizza, and it was quite tasty. Prices were good as well, as our pizza with several toppings was $17. Not too bad, especially when split by two. Service was friendly and consistent the whole time.

An amazing Mountain town treat they sometimes have a green chili bisque if they have it try it!!! Also had a pizza amazing food and draft beer!!

    Fishing pole pizza
    Carrie R.

Pizza is wood fired with quality ingredients. Loved the fishing pole pizza with lobster- delicious!! Kolsh beer with a blackberry for me, husband had a whisky beer, kids had a root beer made in Durango - all very good. Atmosphere is cute - kinda like an old saloon. But HOT especially depending on where you sit- lower seats near a fan or outside patio with umbrellas would have been better for us. Service was pretty good besides the fact there is no host - so you have to wait for someone to seat you and that part seems disorganized.

Really enjoyed the beer at this brewery. I have been to 3 other breweries on my Colorado trip and this one had my favorite IPA and beer overall. Has some outdoor seating where you can enjoy your food and drinks with mountains as a backdrop.

    6 wing special ($13)

Craving pizza our one night in Silverton. This place was awesome! Fantastic service, and pizza! They also had a sour on tap which was tasty. They had a wing special (not on the menu), 6 wings for $13; really good! We even asked them to mix 2 sauces, and they did. Great place!

Yes yes yes. If you're in Silverton - this is the BEST meal you can enjoy. We've been to a bunch of restaurants here and Golden Block is fantastic. Pizza is phenomenal AND TERRIFIC gluten free cauliflower crust available. Service is super friendly and warm. The beer is outstanding and we especially recommend the Madam Brown Ale. The space is fun and open. We LOVE this place and keep coming back.

Nice little pizza place on the main drag of Silverton. Serves local beer on tap. Never had a raspberry has a garnish with a beer We ordered 2 pizzas for the 3 of us. One of the pizzas was build your own. White pizza with meatball bacon green pepper with mozzarella and ricotta cheese. The othe other was the rockhound pizza. Both were 12 inch pizzas. Great crust. Not thick. Not cracker crust. Just right. Good service and not a long wait to get in.

We took the train from Durango on a Tuesday and chose this place for lunch. We were the first on the waitlist, so we had about 15 minutes to look around town (and buy a t-shirt!) before they texted us that our table was ready. Our server was friendly, and we had our food soon after ordering. They cook everything on a wood-fired brick oven, so our paninis were perfectly crisp and hot. My Maggie was very good, with a perfect combination of prosciutto, spinach, pesto and mozzarella. My cousin enjoyed the Minnie, and her husband liked his Cunningham. We all got the regular size, which was enough for lunch. Although we didn't try them, the pizzas were popular and looked great, too. We left full, happy and ready for the rest of our Silverton adventure.

Fear little pizza spot located in Silverton, don't get caught up in the restaurants right next to the train depot. Walk one more block to Main Street for some good pizza. The service is fast and friendly and the decor is befitting Silverton. The pizzas are fresh and tasty so so good! This is not your typical brick oven pizza joint, they guys take pride in what they do and it comes out in the quality of what they serve.

When we got the bill it was $17 and she said it was $15. I didn't raise my voice or say anything mean towards her. All around she had a bad attitude. We went to leave and walked outside, we were on the sidewalk not even on their property anymore and she yelled at me saying I was very mean to her and the way I treated her. There was no reason for her to come outside to yell at me and then she yelled that I was a bitch. Then we went back inside to talk to management which was her mommy. Her mom the owner was just as rude, very unprofessional, said I need to grow up because I didn't want to pay for their high drinks, which we did pay for their drinks. Yelled at my husband saying how dare he let me talk to her daughter like that. I never raised my voice when we were eating and drinking. She then became very rude and defensive about that. Very bad customer service, horrible management/owner. Instead of apologizing for her daughter giving me the wrong price of a drink and didn't even attempt to take off $2 for it she got just as defensive and yelling at me and my husband. It was supposed to be a nice relaxing day, lunch, drive to Ouray which became a horrible experience and I felt like they were going after me waiting for me to do something. The waitress should have never gone outside to yell at me. We will never go back there and don't recommend this place.

The only…read morereason I didn't give 5 stars is bc check in was a bit confusing; when I arrived there was no staff at the desk or in the lobby, and I didn't receive any info about how to check in. However, when I arrived I hunted down a phone number in an old confirmation email and got directly in contact with someone (David) who told me exactly how to find my room key and explained where everything was. The whole place is fairly spacious! There are three floors (my room was a 5-bed dorm style room on the third floor), and the main bathroom is on the third floor too. It had two very clean shower stalls with plenty of toiletries for showers, and 3 bathroom stalls. The whole vibe of the bathroom was old Victorian rustic - very cute. The 5 bed room was shockingly comfy too - there were at least 3 other people in my room (clearly all hikers as well, very friendly), and I was bottom bunk. The beds themselves were super comfy, the pillows seemed like memory foam or something similar, and each bed had a fan and wall outlets. There was enough space under the bunks and on the little desk that the room didn't feel overcrowded with luggage either. And there was a small movie theater area in the basement, kitchen behind the lobby desk that is for everyone to use, and some little tables and chairs around including on the second floor which is where I ate dinner. Ngl, I actually appreciated that there were 3 others in my room and clearly several other people also staying in the Avon because it has a "haunted" feel to it, but having so many other happy/friendly hikers and travelers around just makes it feel cozy and safe. Overall: this place is in silverton, a super cute little Colorado town near tons of awesome hikes and gorgeous million dollar freeway! It is cozy, clean, and has plenty of resources. I didn't feel crowded at all.

If you're going to operate in a town where you know a lot of your clientele has a two-hour ticking clock before their train leaves, you've got to be on the ball. Seeing how good the cheese board looked, we started with that as an appetizer. We figured it would give us something to munch on while we were waiting for the rest of our food. Not so much. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and my wife ordered the turkey avocado sandwich. After ordering all our food and waiting a long time, I saw another table get their cheese board at the same time as their entrees. I flagged down our waiter to see if we'd get our appetizer before our entrees. He went to check, and the cheese board came out...at the same time as our sandwiches. What's the deal here? Nobody wants their appetizer as part of their meal. For the record, the cheese board was big, good, and filling. My chicken sandwich was great, and my wife liked her turkey avocado sandwich as well. Fries were better than chips. We just needed things spaced out a bit. Our waiter came back by and said, "Wow! You two must've been hungry, as you ate that really fast." Well buddy, we've got a train to catch!
