Brown ale and marzen - Two glasses of beer, one dark and one light, are positioned on a metal table outdoors. Both glasses have the Ouray Brewing logo and are partially filled. The background features a mountain landscape with greenery and a railing, indicating an outdoor seating area at Ouray Brewing in Colorado.

A really nice venue with a rooftop bar looking out at the surrounding mountains. Not a huge selection of beers on tap, but everything we tried was good. The Box Canyon Brown ale was worth coming back for. We also tried the flautas (phenomenal) and the elote dip (fell a little short).

Elote dip - a must get - A serving of crispy tortilla chips surrounds a small white bowl of dip topped with chopped green onions and cheese. A lime wedge is placed on the edge of the bowl. The chips are arranged on parchment paper on a wooden table, with drinks visible in the background. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment, possibly a restaurant or bar.

Stopped by for a beer & an order of the elote dip following a friends recommendation after a long day of ice climbing. This place was the cherry on top of an amazing day! Not much seating, so we did wait a little while for a table, but I enjoyed browsing the merchandise. We were given the option to leave & return when they texted us for the table, which I appreciated. Once seated we ordered a few beers, some wings, burgers & elote dip. Everything was excellent but the elote dip stole the show. 100% recommend!

A view of town from the deck - A street in a mountain town features parked cars along the curb, with buildings including shops and restaurants on the right side. Pedestrians are walking on the sidewalk, and a few are gathered near the entrance of a building. The background showcases forested mountains with some snow-capped peaks under a partly cloudy sky, indicating a scenic, alpine setting.

Bottom Line: Beers, burgers and views in a three-story building along Ouray's Main Street. To power up for hiking the Perimeter Trail my husband and stoped in Ouray Brewing. Unfortunately we had to skip on the beers which is a shame because there were at least several that I would have wanted to try. Anyway, we each got a classic burger and fries and we appreciated that they came out quickly and were filling. The fries were nice and crisp on the outside which I really enjoy. Something else that was nice was all of the water filling stations throughout the upstairs deck. Regarding the upstairs deck, the restaurant is three floors and the top floor patio is very popular, at least when the weather is good. We were fortunate to find a sunny spot overlooking the town and San Juan Mountains. I'm not sure if the lower floors have a full waiter service but on the third floor patio you place your drink and food orders at the bar. Beers are poured at the time of ordering and a server will come find you and deliver your food. All of the employees were friendly and service was efficient.

Cool swings at the bar and a roof top to sit out at relax and have a few beers, we enjoyed the views

Imperial stout - A tulip-shaped glass filled with dark stout beer with a light brown foam head, placed on a wooden table. The background shows a bar area with shelves of bottles, glasses, and colorful lighting, indicating a lively bar or restaurant environment.

Pretty cool place. We sat in swings at the bar, yes, swings. We both had the imperial stout, which was rich, dark, creamy and complex. We will be back for another beer or 3 and some cute merch. Thanks Ouray Brewing!

Green chili burger, side of fries and elote dip & chips. - A cheeseburger with a toasted bun, lettuce, pickles, and melted cheese is presented on a wooden tray, accompanied by a serving of French fries and a side of chips. In the background, there is a glass of beer, a bowl of salsa or dip with lime wedges, and a basket of chips, all set on a wooden table in a casual dining environment.

My husband and I had a great experience! It was a Sunday, early evening and the place was pretty hoppin'. We put our names in and there were a few parties in front of us. Our table was ready pretty quick as the host asked we we wanted "first available". We shared the green chili burger and the elote dip. The burger was medium rare and tender, with a large green chili and jalapeño aioli and some fries. The elote dip was roasted corn with the classic elote fixins. All was delicious! We tried a blonde beer, red beer, and IPA. All were tasty! Great customer service. You must try!!

two glasses of beer on a table - Two transparent glasses filled with golden beer and topped with foam are positioned on a table. One glass has a logo that reads 'BEAVER' and 'Established 2010.' A menu is partially visible on the right side, and outdoor wooden fencing and sunlight are seen in the background, indicating an outdoor seating area at Ouray Brewing in Colorado.

Now... I finally tried Rocky Mountain Oysters. Listen--no one prepared me for the fact they're flat. I thought they'd at least come with a warning label like "These are not popcorn chicken." But honestly? They were surprisingly tasty. And yes, I survived to tell the tale. My burger came out thick, juicy, and cooked just right--like a burger that knows who it is and is proud of itself. Paired with their craft beer lineup? Solid gold. Shoutout to Ryan, our bartender/server--attentive, chill, and made us feel right at home. But the highlight was Phil, the owner. The man walks around the place like he's hosting family dinner. Warm, genuine, and the kind of hospitality that sticks with you long after the last sip.

It did not disappoint. The have a front patio and a size covered one with a bat, which is where we sat. Lots of sports signs, flags etc. service was ok. A bit slow at times. We got a bbq bacon burger and the french dip sandwich. The meat on the sandwich was smoked. The sandwich was delicious, only complaint was there wasn't enough of the dipping juice. The burger was very good but a bit on the small side compared to the bun. Lots of other good looking things on the menu. We will be back for sure with or without the dogs.

We ordered 2 grilled mother cluckers and bock bock fries (our go to). It was about 4pm and there were only a few people there (we were the only ones outside). After about 40 minutes waiting for our food I decided to go in to check on things. Our order was sitting on the counter. Their response was "sometimes the buzzer doesn't work from the table you're sitting at"..... ummmmm what? We ended up eating the cold chicken (and I mean cold, not luke warm) sandwiches because we were starving but asked them to remake the fries. Fast forward to a few weeks ago it was a Friday and me and a friend ordered some sandwiches and sat in the back half of the brewery . After about 25 minutes my buzzer went off. When I got up to the counter there was an order of fish and chips... they called the wrong buzzer. No biggie. Well another 20 minutes went by and nothing. People around us that ordered after us were getting their food. So I went back up to the counter and there on their service line were our chicken sandwiches. When I asked the employee about my order she went back and checked and came back and said "we just finished them up". I took the sandwiches back to the table and again they were COLD. Not to mention since the coleslaw was sitting on the bun they were completely soggy. Didn't take the sandwiches back because we had a baby with us that needed to go to bed. I'm not sure if it's a buzzer issue or what. But we aren't sure if / when we will be returning to Pomona, sadly.
