We sat out on the dog-friendly patio. We were lucky to get a table; the outside tables filled up quickly. When a couple arrived with their pup and found all the tables occupied, we invited them to join us. It turned out to be a nice way to meet fellow travelers. And the pizza? DELICIOUS! We're so glad we did! The patio is spacious and comfortable, with several seating areas that give it a relaxed atmosphere. Our server was friendly and attentive, and his recommendation of the Flatlander Chicken Sandwich ($15.99) was spot on. Since my husband and I often split meals, we ordered one sandwich to share. To our surprise, it arrived already divided onto two separate plates--a thoughtful touch that's becoming all too rare. That kind of service definitely earns extra points. The sandwich was delicious, with grilled chicken breast, guacamole, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and chipotle mayo, served with perfectly cooked crispy fries.
