We stopped here after hiking the Box Cañon Falls. The Açaí Bowl was a very refreshing snack after our hike. The owner was so kind and patient with us. We were able to taste the base flavors before deciding which ones to go with. I went with the medium size and did half Coconut and half Ube. It's a great combo! You get to choose 2 fruits, 2 toppings, and 1 drizzle. I got bananas and blueberries for the fruit, almonds & coconut for the toppings, & nutellla for the drizzle. My bowl was amazing! I'm usually very picky about my Açaí bowls but this one was fantastic! There are a few seating options inside as well as 2 tables outside if you want to sit and eat your bowl while enjoying the view. There is no restroom & only street parking! We loved this place so much that we had to stop by one last time before heading back home! read more

We arrived a few minutes after closing and the owners were kind enough to let us in and serve us anyway. They had 4 flavors of base, gluten free granola and were very generous with the toppings we chose. Our group got bananas, blueberries, strawberries, pineapple, toasted coconut, Nutella, honey, and peanut butter in all as toppings on the three bowls and we all loved them! 10/10. The owner was very nice. My favorite açaí bowl was the first one I had when I visited a favela in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 8 years ago. Since then, no açaí bowls have been able to compete in the US. While visiting Ouray for our anniversary, I drove by and saw the sign but didn't think twice. But my wife insisted we try it. The owner was proud of his business and it showed with how he was serving us. He excitedly explained the different bases they served for their bowls: açaí, ube (tastes like taro), mango, and coconut. The wife and I split our favorite flavors and toppings. I'm a believer now: Açaí in America can be just as good as it is in Brazil. Well done Marmots Açaí!! read more
