    Basement with tables.

My husband and I have sheen coming to The Enterprise in the summer for about 4 years now. The Enterprise is very casual and always friendly. We've always great food, great service, and great drinks. They have a full bar and recently added wine to the menu. It's a fun experience too because the restaurant has been in Rico since 1882. The place has a pool table and the new owner has added pinball machines and darts in the basement. He has also added several types of entertainment during the summer such as movie night, karaoke, and live music. There are a couple of large elk heads on either side of the bar and you're reminded of what Rico must have been like before 1900. A great place in a tiny mountain town!

Lloyd's Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Salad

The best bar food in Rico! I had Lloyd's Crispy Chicken Sandwich twice this week. The fries were hot, the salad was beautiful and the chicken wings were delicious. The cooks did a great job during both of our visits. The service was great.

    They have great hats too!

Was in town for the 4th of July and my favorite liquor store next door was closed for the day so we wanted into the Enterprise. Incredibly busy but considering the population of town was triple for the day they handled it all very well. Decent selection of taps and great Bloody Marys. Recommend Enterprise if you ever find yourself in Rico.

The front page of the menu says '6th Oldest Bar in Colorado' This place sure has got a lot of history. Established during the mining era, this place still carries that old charm. The menu is also thoughtfully made. Typically an old bar like this usually carries sloppy, fried and fatty food but this apart from the comfort food also gives options for organic and gluten free food. They also have 6 draft beer taps of which 4 are from local brewery from Telluride.

Great food, nice people, mellow vibe outside. Great place to stop for a bite. Nachos are killer, and if you're lucky you can hear the woman practicing her banjo.

I'm so glad we stumbled upon this bar! I had a burger and fries and both were just outstanding. Service was fast and they have a large outdoor seating area

Great atmosphere! The Mediterranean pizza is great and everything tastes so fresh. The perfect local dive.

This place blew me away! Not what I expected that is a bar type place with fatty greasy hamburgers and pizza. Not the case at all!! I had the organic vegetable salad with grilled chicken. It was outstanding and fresh. My friend had the pulled pork barbeque plate which included beans corn and veggies. OMG super delicious and pork was lean. It was so good that we had to order one of each to go!! I also liked the stainless steel straws.

Mineshaft Burger and great home made fries

Never a bad meal. And Justin, the owner has made this place a great weekend getaway for us. Their mineshaft burger is huge and the best! A definite 2 napkin burger.

My husband and I loved these!

Our only complaint has nothing to do with the food. Their website states that they are not pet friendly, but when I picked up our order, I asked because it seemed odd for a place called Brown Dog Pizza. They confirmed that dogs are welcome on the outdoor patio, which was great to hear. It would be helpful if they updated their website to reflect that so people traveling with dogs don't skip this place. We ended up taking our pizza down to the creek to eat, and it made for a perfect meal. We'd definitely order from Brown Dog Pizza again!

Instead of being welcomed, we were immediately interrogated by the woman at the front, then questioned again by the bartender. We were seated and left sitting there for 30 minutes without a single person taking our order or offering service. Our waitress even apologized and admitted she "hates that she can't help us," making it obvious the staff had intentionally decided not to serve us. Throughout the entire time, my service dog was exactly where a service dog should be--quietly lying under the table at my feet, causing absolutely no disruption. After waiting half an hour, I finally asked if we were ever going to be served. That's when we were told the issue was my service dog. When I questioned this, the bartender's response was to tell me I "didn't need an attitude." I've written maybe five Yelp reviews in my life, but this experience deserves to be shared. The way we were treated was humiliating, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. It felt like we were being singled out simply because I have a disability and rely on a service animal. All six of us got up and left because of how we were treated. Small businesses deserve support when they treat people with respect. This business did the opposite. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience the kind of discrimination we did.

I did think it was a little odd that drinks were served in red solo cups, which took away from the overall dining vibe. We started with the burrata - it was decent, nothing particularly memorable. Wasn't the best, wasn't the worst. For my entrée, I ordered the mushroom pasta. It was okay, but I personally would have liked more depth of mushroom flavor. For dessert, we tried the tiramisu, which was tasty but extremely pricey for the portion size. While I enjoyed parts of the meal, the value wasn't quite there for me. I may come back in the future, but I'm not rushing back anytime soon.

Now it's just a 50's malt shop theme. It's was so classy and period accurate. Classy, nostalgic, Now it's a cheap teeny bopper jukebox memory. Why do California people come to Colorado and bring their Walmart plastic lifestyles. They should have just bought a trailer and lived more familiar lifestyle? Then they wouldn't have to sell that wrought iron fence that encompassed the property. Looks like their pawning it off piece by piece just to continue their delusion. If people come into this community and buy up historical properties, shouldn't they have to follow the rules of the Historical Society to preserve the historical value. But they try to live a lifestyle they can't afford. The buildings or properties are destroyed. History lost. Purchasers have a responsibility to follow the rules . So the historical society allowed them to take an original historic building built in 1892 and they got permission to turn it into a cheap 50's era malt shop? How is this in line with a home built in 1892? Dolores is turning into Durango. There are all locals if you ask, but they've only been in Colorado 6 months. The Dolores river used to run on the N side. When it was redirected for the dam it changed. But someone told me that a non local bar owner was telling people that never happened. Sure. He's probably thinking he never saw that. Yeah bro. The deal is being an implant he doesn't realize, it happened before he moved to Dolores few years back. But once nobody from Colorado lives in Dolores then they can all lie to each other about how 'local' the former tourists are. Dolores used to be true to it's people. Now it's a little yuppie implant village.
