We were seated and left sitting there for 30 minutes without a single person taking our order or offering service. Our waitress even apologized and admitted she "hates that she can't help us," making it obvious the staff had intentionally decided not to serve us. Throughout the entire time, my service dog was exactly where a service dog should be--quietly lying under the table at my feet, causing absolutely no disruption. After waiting half an hour, I finally asked if we were ever going to be served. That's when we were told the issue was my service dog. When I questioned this, the bartender's response was to tell me I "didn't need an attitude." I've written maybe five Yelp reviews in my life, but this experience deserves to be shared. The way we were treated was humiliating, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. It felt like we were being singled out simply because I have a disability and rely on a service animal. All six of us got up and left because of how we were treated. Small businesses deserve support when they treat people with respect. This business did the opposite. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone, and I sincerely hope no one else has to experience the kind of discrimination we did.

Everything was flavorful, fresh, and served in generous portions. The tortilla soup was hands down some of the best I've ever had rich, comforting, and packed with flavor! The homemade chips were fresh and crispy, and the queso was a perfect complement. The hot sauce had a wonderfully roasted flavor that was unique and delicious. The Mexican street corn was a little different than what I'm used to it seemed to be made with Miracle Whip instead of mayonnaise but it was still tasty. The tacos were huge and loaded with meat, making for an incredibly satisfying and very filling meal. Overall, we had wonderful, friendly service and enjoyed every bite. From the moment we walked through the door, we were welcomed with open arms. We had our medical service dog with us, and instead of questioning us, the staff immediately commented on how incredibly well-behaved he was--even joking that they wanted to keep him because he was such a good boy. The owner came over to introduce himself, made us feel genuinely welcome, and even treated us to a special whiskey dessert drink that was absolutely delicious. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were expertly made, the wine selection was excellent, and our kids had a great time. To top it all off, there was an old-school piano player creating the perfect atmosphere. It was one of those dining experiences that reminds you what true hospitality feels like.
