The owner responded by yelling at him about how long the business has been open and listing other places she owns, leaving him feeling embarrassed and ignorant. The final straw happened during my most recent visit. I flew in from Las Vegas and wanted to take my parents, both in their 80s, to get sandwiches. Standing for long periods is difficult for them, so they sat briefly in the dining area while I ordered. They were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. They were immediately yelled at and told they could not sit there unless they ordered from the dinner menu. My father politely explained that we were ordering sandwiches and that his daughter had just flown in. The owner said it didn't matter--if we weren't ordering off the dinner menu, we had to leave. As a result, we were forced to eat in our car in the middle of winter. Great food does not excuse disrespectful, unkind treatment--especially toward elderly customers. The lack of compassion was shocking, and I will not return.

As I walked in I was greeted nicely then felt rushed as person taking order spoke loudly what I wanted, pick choice of chips and drink. (I was the only one in the place). I placed my order, Ham Overboard panini which has ham off the bone, warmed Brie and honey mustard for 10.75. The sandwich didn't blow me away. It had 2 pieces of ham, 2 pieces of Brie which was not spread onto the sandwich... just place in 2 different spots so I did not get the Brie in every bite. I expected more filling. I'm not usually in the area, but probably will go back to this place to try something else.
