This is the cute little retreat Old Forge needed. This adorable coffee and sandwich shop has a lovely relaxed vibe, with comfy couches and toys and a kitchen set for kids. The sweet local owner had all sorts of ideas for family activities in the area. We immediately regretting having our full lunch across the street, and just coming in for cookies, since the vibe was so nice and the cookies we bought were so delicious. More on the cookies: salty, crumbly but still soft, somehow magically the chocolate remained a bit melts. You probably can't eat many of them because they're so rich. The menu is varied, and includes things you likely won't get in this little town elsewhere like a Buddha bowl. Come visit on your next trip to Webb, trust me. You won't regret it.

So extremely charming. All homemade and from scratch!! Lavender scones, fresh lemonade and they have local artists work on display! Fantastic service and excellent quality food and drinks!! Highly recommend!!

Though originally from upstate NY, I've been in CA for over 20 years now, and my tastes (forced by needing to become healthier) have changed. I was thrilled to see a place with a green smoothie, smoothie bowls, and gluten free treats. In a super cute and beautifully maintained old home, the family running this establishment are kind and sweet and trying to bring a little health to the area. I had the green smoothie, brother had the Kokomo, and we got a gluten free blueberry muffin (the blueberries in there - YUM!) and a full gluten chocolate cake slice with buttercream frosting (my favorite). Can't wait to go back tomorrow and try a bowl. Thank you for being here!

I came to this place after my hike from Bald Mountain. Everything on the menu looked good, but the cashier recommended Prosciutto Mars. I also got the Blue Monday smoothie. The prosciutto sandwich was pretty good. I never had prosciutto before but it didn't disappointment me. I wish there was a tad bit more meat considering how thick the moz slices were. The sandwich didn't have any sauce, but the fresh moz made up for it. The bread was pretty good, but a little hard. Overall, 3/5. The smoothie was a delicious. It wasn't too sweet which I was a very big fan of. Blueberry taste and oatmeal texture had prominent roles in the smoothie. Overall, 4/5. Not much to go over in terms of customer service since you go up and order it, but they do bring out the food to you. 1/1.

Very nice stop for breakfast food. We loved the homey vibe as you walk in. We were visiting Old Forge and have been told by our friends that we had to come here for the scones. So on our way out of town we stopped by and got a few scones for the ride back. We were not disappointed at all! We will definitely come back next time we are up in Old Forge. I would've loved to sit down and enjoy breakfast there but that will have to be next time!

Unique, healthy, delicious food. It was a relief to find this place after days of fried food/bar food. The owners were friendly and accommodating. The play area for my small child was very appropriate so I could wait for our order with ease. The sandwiches, grain bowl and cookies were delicious but by far the yogurt and granola parfait was the best I have ever had. Something so simple I have made and had 100 times (this month) was so unique I will not soon forget it. Treat yourself to the granola if you're into that sorta thing and you will not regret it. I will return!

So lucky to find this place. My wife and I stopped for breakfast, the place looks nice and so clean, the customer service was outstanding, the food was delicious I got the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich, and my wife had a avocado toast, both fresh and delicious. We got a couple of blueberry scones for our trip back to Queens, oh man!!! When we tested them I said omg why I didn't buy 10 of them, so yummy. If you're in Old Forge try this place, you will not regret it.

We were seated immediately which was awesome seeing as it was 4th of July weekend. We ordered the spinach and shrimp dip for an appetizer and we ate that up immediately. My boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger which he thought was really good and cooked perfectly (medium rare fyi). I chose the drunken chicken which was huge and the chipotle mayo was a nice addition! Overall very good and filling. Slickers is always a good time with friendly customers and staff. I've never had a bad experience here!

Due to being a…read morefamily of 5, they told us it would be a 10-15 minute wait for a table, outside and inside options were full. We didn't realize they were attempting to close the section to the left. We waited about 25 mins. Some other families arrived with 4 and were seated immediately. We were finally seated. 10 minutes after we were seated I went back to the hostess and asked who are server is since we still didn't have drink orders. It was the server that was serving the table next to us. She never said, "oh I'll be right with you", even after she went to that table 5 times. They kept asking for drinks and crackers and more items. After I approached the hostess I saw them flag her down and ask her to serve us, not sure if she was supposed to go home, on break or what the breakdown with service happened to be. After the hostess flags her down she comes up to our table and asks for drinks, no apology for the wait or having to flag her down to get service. I said we have been here for 10 minutes, we are ready to place our full order. We order everything. It takes 11 minutes to bring 5 waters, 2 sodas, and 2 bottles of beer. This is after the place has now cleared and is quiet inside. 85% of the tables and bar are empty. 28 minutes later our food arrives. She never came back to ask for refills. She had two tables at this point, ours and a family of 4 behind us. After the food was delivered and we were eating I glanced over to the bar to see the manager, hostess, bar tender all eating chips and dip at the bar due to it all slowing down. The server came right over to ask if everything was ok and began leaving before we could answer. We would like more drinks. Buser never cleared our table. I had to put dirty dishes on the table being cleared next to us. Service was negative stars. I have two stars because the food was really good, the environment was ok. Some cobwebs in corners and the building is a little shabby, but it goes with the vibe. I would rather have stellar service and ok food than great food and not great service.

The Back Door Bar - Chicken Caesar wrap was kind of dry but decent flavor.

Bartender was friendly and chatted with us for a quick minute as he served a large crowd. The burgers that went by as we stood there looked scrumptious and huge. I would venture to say the food must be good based on the looks of it and the size of the dining crowd. When we sat outside with the gorgeous view from the upper deck people below were getting pizzas that also looked delicious and I'd say about 18" with fresh looking ingredients. I cannot attest to flavor but the smells were awesome. Next time we will stop later and grab a bite for dinner.

I am the type of person who likes it already paired with what it needs so I went for an option under others. I got the bear dump plate which is their take of a garbage plate. My only recommendation is they do a princess plate (half portion) because there was so much I was full within 5 minutes! The food was delicious and the bartenders were great company. The beer varieties were nice and I actually loved their seltzer. It has no flavor and they have a variety of flavor syrups to add to it, the lavender with it is very refreshing. Their cocktail menu was amazing and diverse as well and my boyfriend was excited to get his transfusion. Overall a great spot and we love visiting when we come up to old forge.

The place…read morewas packed, there was a line - but I scored a counter seat right off, and placed my order for a biscuit with gravy, some corned beef hash, and a coffee. This would end up costing my $17 and change, expensive and not a good value. The food was served cold, clearly not made in house, and service was indifferent at best. Go someplace else, like one of the restaurants in Inlet, about 5 miles up canyon. Getting wait staff attention for some coffee was the first challenge and indication of the pending experience. The food took over 45 minutes to come out, even for such a simple order, and the 2 times I was able to grab attention for a coffee refill really felt like I was imposing on someone. The gravy arrived cold - not "was on the warmer for a while" cold, but "we just got this out of the walk-in" cold, and returned from a brief trip through a shower of microwaves barely warmed. The corned beef hash was clearly scooped out of a can on to the grill and was a small portion for the price. All while while trying to inject myself between wait staff and their indifference to get coffee, check, warmed gravy, water refill, etc. 7 minutes after leaving I drove past a few restaurants in Inlet, with less crowding and looking just as quaint as Keyes. I'll try there next time I'm through this area. Definitely not Keyes!
