Visited Saturday night before the snow storm and it was a full house. This place is so cozy and vibey. Definitely great for date night. Service was decent but friendly. The "all heart" cocktail was delicious and definitely strong. It's like a raspberry lemon drop. We also had the oyster Rockefeller which was good but definitely overpriced for 4 oysters. The quartet was amazing but pretty short in my opinion, they did maybe 4-5 songs. Then you have to clear out for the next session.

Went to celebrate for my anniversary. Beautiful Ambiance! The staff at Django were really nice and this is a perfect place for an intimate date. However, the other workers at the hotel? Not so nice. Apparently you're not allowed to use a pocket-sized digital camera to take pictures?? Some man that works there randomly came up to us as we were taking pictures and informed us that we cannot take pictures with the camera. However, I looked up to see if there were any policies regarding that, and there were none. Even the host at Django was taken aback and said we can take as many pictures as we can. Hence, it's safe to say that the man was a jerk & we were just being targeted. BESIDES THAT, we had a good experience at the Django club.

Loved this spot!!! The vibes were so great. The performance was really good shout out Alex Minasian and his crew. I love a good jazz club and this was far more than just good! The drinks were strong and the fries were perfect. Can't wait to go back.

Really good jazz but $35 for the night even if you're not there the whole time. Good vibes, price kind of worth the experience for sure.

Came here last night under a friend's recommendation. We got there too early, so we went to the bar upstairs and got a drink. They were supercharged with alcohol my "rebel rebel" didn't taste like anything except pure rubbing alcohol. Anyways, we finally were seated at The Django and it was surprising to see such a pretty little stage with dim lights and a good service! Our server, however, was rare to be found. The meat and cheese board was fantastic, the tuna tartare was ruined by spice (I'm for natural tastes and flavors honestly) and the artichoke toast wasn't great as the artichokes were pickled or something. Wine was great as well. THE MUSIC!! OH GOD!! We had enough food to stay for two shows so we got to see two different groups, and they were both beyond amazing. I might make this a little weekly thing. Wine, cheese and meat board, and beautiful music.

Staffs were friendly, decor were on point with the bathroom decors being the best. Chairs were cool in the waiting area, but definitely small space with lots of people. There's an oyster and restaurant bar upstairs, and obviously hotel thru the elevator. But it seemed confusing at first if you trying to find the jazz venue bar. You just gotta walk in thru the front door and proceed to the back for stairs or elevator to go down. Easy. The food was pretty ok, but definitely interesting hotel vibe food..

Wow, what a cool jazz club in retro hotel in the Tribeca area. It was a treat from our daughter so it made it even more special. *Note. Reservations are a must! We saw several people get turned away that thought they could just walk in. You feel like you're in a speakeasy with an intimate small crowd very close to the jazz band. They serve tasty cocktails as well as delicious food.

I felt like in a movie. Music was excellent, the whole vibe and place was like stuck in time, I love it!

10 out of 10!!!!!!!!! Our reservations were at 645 but doors open at 630. Get there early because there will be a line! The servers were extremely attentive and the food was *chefs kiss*! We had the grilled tenderloin with wilted kale that comes with fries and a Cesar salad which are shareable items. The drinks were strong so have some food. Now the entertainment----WOW! The nick hempton band KILLED IT! I would pay to see them perform anywhere. The musicians feel the music. They did a set of about 4-5 songs but I wish I heard more. Amazing performance!

This place was amazing - it's an intimate lightly lit spot with a ton of character and charm - the performer was a mix of jazz and poetry - we ordered a couple of drinks and and order of fries (as we had just come from dinner) however there was a full menu to choose from - the waitress was constantly coming over to check in - which I really appreciated - there's is also a Cinema and it's located in The Roxy Hotel - the only downside (which is no fault of the establishment) a table next to us was full of patrons who talked very loudly the entire time - so it made it very difficult to enjoy the show

LOVED this spot. Came alone, stayed a long time. Head downstairs in the Roxy Hotel and you'll find this jazz spot tucked into the corner near the theater. Cover fee tends to be around $35 for performances and there is also a two drink minimum. If you like the jazz, this is a fantastic spot as the acoustics and setting are fantastic. You'll find very talented jazz performers here - check their social media or website for who's playing.

    Oysters were outstanding!

My NYC son took me here for some amazing jazz, stellar drinks and the best oysters I've had in Manhattan. Great vibe: feels like your in an underground bunker. Servers were attentive and nice. Go here now!

Ask the Community - The Django

What time does the show start and end?

Can I just do a walk in (one person)?

I believe so but call the club to be sure, they do answer the phone. That said I really dislike that place.

Is there an age restriction? Coming to town with family

Most likely 21 as it's a club with two bars.

Is it possible to go for just drinks and the music?

Hi Mark! Absolutely - you are welcome to join us just for drinks.Visit our site for monthly music line up. Arleene

While I can't comment on the wine list personally, I know they are well-known for their extensive selection. After placing our order, we were delivered the sesame pizza bianca, which is a complimentary starter bread with dinner. The bread was a nice size and light and airy with a perfect crust and a delicious, crusty sesame seed bottom. The prawns were our starter and came three to a dish. They were sizable, though since they are served with the head and tail, there isn't a ton of meat on them. That said, they were flavorful and juicy with a nice sauce and just the right amount of spice that didn't overwhelm the fish. The snowdance chicken was the star of the show! It was incredibly juicy and tender with perfectly prepared skin, so I was happy to learn they keep this on the menu year-round. It was topped with some spinach that was solid, though nothing special. We also ordered a side of mushrooms which came with a creamy sauce and fish roe intended to be mixed at the table. The roe wasn't fishy at all but added a great element of umami to the flavorful, well-textured mushrooms. Overall, the service was very professional, though I thought the pacing could have been improved as the dishes came out a bit slowly. I would also recommend ordering at least two dishes per person, as the three plates we shared between two people felt like just a touch too little food. I'm already looking forward to going back--I'd try the winter chicories salad or the veal sweetbreads next time, but I'm open to exploring everything since the quality is so high. I noticed a side dish listed on their online menu that wasn't actually offered in person, so it might be worth double-checking if you have your heart set on a specific item.

I made reservations after seeing their special hot chocolate on social media and had a wonderful meal! Started off with the hiramasa which was fresh and went deliciously well with the citrus-y and sweet cara cara orange, as well as the aji peppers! The castelfranco chickory salad was fresh, crunchy, slightly creamy and slightly tangy - basically everything you need in an appetizing salad! Their house sesame bread was fluffy and chewy with a good amount of sesame flavor without having too many seeds. For mains, the farfelle was very interesting and tasty! The pasta was al dente and the sauce was addicting! At first I was wondering if it would resemble a nut butter, but it was creamy with very prominent walnut flavors and interesting texture (perhaps from the blended walnut skin component?). The addition of burrata and other cheeses was perfect for a cheese-lover like me. The pork chop was flavorful, well-seasoned, and juicy. The leek and cabbage mixture soaked up all the sauce and I wish there was more! Their special hot chocolate with an espresso martini marshmallow was fire!!!! Hot chocolate was decadent, not too thick, and not too sweet. The toasted marshmallow melted quickly but definitely had coffee and alcohol flavors. The amount per serving doesn't appear a lot but appropriate considering how rich it is. The mascarpone dessert had a great balance of fluffy cream, extremely crispy phyllo, and crunchy nuts with a touch of chocolate and vanilla! For drinks, I was really curious about the bi lemongrass but they ran out. Staff recommended the semiplume, which felt like a beer, tea, and sparkling wine all at once! Loved the floral aroma and bitter tea notes. My partner's cocktails were also well executed. Staff were nice and friendly. We got seats right by the kitchen so staff often checked in with us, including the chef!! Vibes were intimate with the dim lighting and minimalist decor. Definitely want to come back to check out their chicken and other dishes!!

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order.
