I came here for an early dinner with a friend on a Sunday. It wasn't busy at all and it's a very cute spot to go to for a little girl time. I got the St. Germaine spritz and we shared the lemongrass steak nachos, frites, and kimchi arancini! St Germaine spritz: I love a cocktail/alcoholic beverage that is on the sweeter side. I don't really love when can I taste the alcohol in a mixed drink so this drink was definitely up my alley. It was super refreshing and had a nice bubblyness to it. Lemongrass steak nachos: the lemongrass was definitely a standout taste in these nachos which I loved! I loved the combo of the fresh ingredients like the cilantro, lemongrass, and cabbage with the steak and queso, it helped to balance all the flavors and didn't feel heavy Frites: pretty standard tasting fries, not too skinny and not too thick which I liked! The chili mayo had a nice smoky sweet flavor and it was a great dipping sauce! Kimchi Arancini: these were crispy and had a nice gooey cheese in the middle which definitely had a cheese pull. The kimchi taste I felt was relatively mild which is great for people that don't want such a strong sour kimchi flavor, I love kimchi so I could've definitely had it stronger. They do give you a side of kimchi to go with it, but I didn't love the kimchi it came with. I'm used to getting kimchi from Hmart or other Asian grocery stores but this was pretty mid to me. This is my go-to spot whenever I'm in the mood for a casual drink. Definitely a great place for champagne and wine. It's a cute, cozy neighborhood spot with good food, reasonable prices, and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Every time I come, I end up ordering the cauliflower and the bao buns--they're just that good. On my last visit, I tried the galbi-jjim bao, which was generous in portion and really flavorful. The cauliflower dish feels almost like a fresh salad, light and easy to eat, and the gnocchi with chipotle sauce had a nice subtle kick. The focaccia and sardines paired perfectly with champagne and white wine. Right next door is Homer, a very popular restaurant, and I've been to both--but honestly, I prefer this place. Maybe it's a bit less trendy because there aren't many main-course options, but everything I've tried here has been consistently delicious. Great spot for happy hour! I had been eyeing this place for a while and was glad my friend suggested it for happy hour! My friend and I got some tequila passionfruit based cocktails to start and some appetizers! Our favorites infused the duck mouse which was a very generous portion and the kimchi arancini! My husband and I had an amazing brunch here this morning! We ordered the deviled eggs, BLT, duck confit eggs Benedict, and of course the bread pudding. The deviled eggs had a sort of Chinese mustard that gave it a horse radish like flavor. The BLT is made with a fluffy sourdough focaccia and they put plenty of mayo which in my opinion is the key to a great BLT. I loved the flavor of the eggs Benedict. The duck gave it an Asian flare, while the hollandaise sauce provided a delicious creaminess. My all time favorite thing was the Garam masala bread pudding, the syrup was to die for and created caramelized edges that were chewy and flavorful. I've been to The Coupe and Flute twice now and both times were fantastic experiences. Everything is perfect: the thoughtful menu and beautifully played dishes, the moody but delicate interior, the knowledgable and attentive staff... I love it here! An intimate and easily accessed Beacon Hill location. I started with the champagne flight, all very delicious. Brunch with a French-ish menu stretched well into Sunday afternoon. I ordered the Croissant Madame--Parisian ham, gruyere cheese, egg, kimchee, bechamel, served with frites--and it was tasty, although I would have expected it to be more saucy with bechamel in the way that a traditional Crocque Madame would be. This is such a cute, cozy brunch spot in the Beacon Hill area. We made reservations 2 weeks in advance just in case, to guarantee the specific time we could make (10am), but you could also walk in if your plans are impromptu. You can reserve for the table or the bar. We chose table as we are focusing more on the food and it looks more suitable for a date-like ambience but the bar is also nice for more drinks-focused experience. We got the royal flight and French press coffee for drinks. The royal flight features 4 x 2oz of champagne so you get to try a variety. They were decent but a bit of a splurge. It enhances the brunch experience since you will feel classy eating brunch with champagne. For food we got: - Deviled tea eggs: I love tea eggs and this place does it quite well too! The filling did not overpower the actual flavor of the eggs, and I always enjoy Asian flavors in my dishes. - Tempura battered cream puffs: also delicious. A bit oily and filling, but it is to be expected since it is deep fried. There is a good amount of sweetness in the cream puff, and the batter is quite crispy and flavorful. There is berry compote on the side to enhance the flavor, but I used that sparingly as it is quite flavorful and the cream puffs are already sweet. This is definitely a must-get - you don't really see this that frequently in other brunch spots - Braised duck benedict - quack quack. My girlfriend loves duck so this makes this dish another hit. The English muffin is toasted which gives an additional dimension of texture to the dish. The poached egg is perfectly made runny. It comes with fries that were okay but I do love the dipping sauce. Service is good as water refills were present and the waiter checks up on you once in a while. Such a cute little spot! We were on EST, so I think we arrived very early for brunch (10am on a Saturday). The place was pretty empty, but that meant more space for us, and our champagne! I was a little skeptical of the menu because it was oddly kind of asian inspired which did not seem to fit the vibe, but the food was better than expected! This is our favorite restaurant on Beacon Hill, Brooke and Curt are national treasures in the community. They did amazing job with the interior details of the space and gave it a rustic modern feel. Me and my dog Cardi B love to come here in summers, they have a lovely outdoor seating area. Our favorites on the menu include the tempera puffs, croque madame and frittata. Coupe and Flute is a hidden gem in Beacon Hill, Seattle serving up cozy brunch, happy hour, and dinner. They're actually a champagne-forward restaurant, but I don't really order drinks and still had a great time with the food. Some of the flavors are Asian inspired, like the deviled tea eggs and tempura cream puffs, which were such a fun fusion. Those two, while appetizers, were my favorite items from brunch. We also ordered the braised duck Benedict and the roasted cauliflower frittata (promise it's under the pile of arugula!). The braised duck was flavorful and tender, but not life-changing. The frittata was just okay; if I came again, I would probably pass on this dish. But the tempura cream puffs were truly life changing -- light, airy, crispy, creamy, and perfectly lightly sweet. Service was impeccable as staff switched out our silverware between each course, hung our coats, and refilled waters. They also asked us the order we'd like to receive our dishes. The restaurant is close to the beacon hill light rail station which makes it convenient to dine at. If you're driving, you will likely have to find street parking, which is relatively easy in the residential area. I would love to come try this place out for dinner sometime as well, and, maybe some champagne! read more

This place is tucked away in Seattle right off the I-90. It was easy to access, and on Saturday we had no difficulty finding street parking. When you go in, it is a cozy and intimate restaurant with a few tables and lively conversation. The food was amazing!! My friends ordered the champagne flight with a generous amount and quality champagne. My cauliflower frittata was so rich, I had to take the rest home for later. We also enjoyed a 32 oz. French press coffee that was so smooth, I decided to drink it without cream or sugar. I like how close you get to sit with your friends and catch up. J will be back to try the duck Benedict, as I heard that is a house specialty! Be prepared to get push back on splitting the check, our server was actually pretty rude about the request. It offered a splendid crunch and the green onion garnish offered a playful juxtaposition on the safe classic. We had the cream puffs as dessert and they stole the show. They were easily the best cream puffs I had ever tasted and it took all my self restraint not to order another. The brunch punch was good, but probably not worth $14. The French onion soup is made with duck bones, and is very rich and decadent on a cold winter night. And the staff suggested that I pair it with a lambrusco and it really worked well! Wowow. What a gem of a restaurant and an amazing find. I'm not going to lie- my group was supposed eat dinner at another famous restaurant a couple of blocks down (hint rhymes with By Ray) and they randomly weren't open that night with no warning or signs. So we wandered down the street and found this place that could take our big group of 6! Wow now I'm so happy our original plan fell through and we discovered this place. Such a cute and delicious spot! Firstly- the decor is just adorable. It has a homey luxe bistro feel and is great for a girls night out. Even the table flowers were adorable. Then the logo- omg. A little dog in a convertible playing the flute- I was a flute geek in high school so I'm biased but that logo just won my over from the get go. This place must be good if there's a dog playing the flute on top of the menu!!! The food- everything delicious. It's meant to be shared and I loved it all. They do change their menu but My favorite was the gnocchi and the nachos. And for dessert the toffee pudding is A MUST. I'm not even a fan of toffee but good god that was delicious. We also got clam dip with crackers, fries, Korean baos, short rib, chocolate cake, and plum cobbler. The drinks- I don't drink alcohol for medical reasons. So I REALLY appreciated that even though this is definitely a place for bubbly, they had an extensive non alcoholic and mock tail menu. Usually when I order mocktails at places it's rly just overpriced lime juice with some sparkling water but no- the drink I ordered was so tasty and unique. Loved it!!! Service- sooo nice and friendly!! They were happy to help us take group photos and even treated us to a dessert when we couldn't decide which ones to order. Just amazing! The food options all sounded really interesting, most of them a twist on a classic item I'd seen elsewhere - the Croissant Madame is a good example, and it works well! The food is pretty heavy and the fries in particular were pretty oily, but other than that, good quality was great. Service was a little slow but pretty helpful, while prices were a little on the higher side, especially for the portion sizes. read more

Came here for brunch a few weeks ago. I already can't wait to return! For brunch, my wife and I had: -Tempura battered cream puffs -Braised duck Benedict -French onion soup -Deviled tea eggs -Champagne flight (including the rosé) -Vacation coffee -Espresso martini -Vodka martini with a twist All of it was excellent! The cream puffs were light, yet decadent. The French Onion soup was probably the best I've ever had--the stock is made from the duck bones (of the duck they use to make the Benedicts). The Benny was also fantastic, but the soup was more remarkable. The tea eggs were good, but they could have used a bit more texture. A bit much for only two people to share--it would have been great for a group of 3-4 people. The champagne flight was pricey ($36 for six 2-ounce pours) but well worth it. The progression of the champagnes was delicious to unfold. And the rosé, which is the finale, is probably my favorite of the bunch. The vacation coffee was light, yet boozy--a fine cocktail! The espresso martini was quite good (it's made with cold brew) and not too sweet. The real winner, though, was the vodka martini. I got the tea deviled eggs, fries and Char Siu bao buns and they were all excellent. I came during their caviar happy hour and got the Royal champagne flight. The list changes, but there's never a miss on it, not once, and I've sampled quite a few bottles by now. Have some garam masala bread pudding. It's brilliant, especially with a sweeter wine, and absolutely can't be missed. The deviled tea eggs are also absolutely magical. I could eat... well, we ordered extra the very first time we came, you almost have to. I always leave faintly tipsy [I'm not driving] and cheerfully full on delicious things. The location is very nice and charming, and I always worry about that with my kids, because they can be known to make a nice and charming place feel crammed, but instead -- this nice and charming place was just perfect. They had a good variety of sort-of traditional, sort-of unique breakfast foods that appeal to both the adults and kids. The bar area was closed for our brunch, which made the restaurant inviting and peaceful. The menu looked so good, I could have probably ordered everything if I could just lay down the rest of the day, but we ended up ordering a nice array of different tastes until next time. We had the eggs benedict with braised duck and the ranchero sopes, and the kids shared a croissant madame. In the end, I was surprised to find that everything was so good, we just passed our dishes around until everyone had a bite. I visited with two friends for drinks & light bites on a Sunday around 4:30pm. We had reservations because we weren't sure what to expect and the tables were about 60% full but there was a good amount of bar seating available at that time. The restaurant definitely filled later in the evening. We didn't realize it when we came in but their happy hour is Wednesday thru Sunday from 4-5:30pm-- WIN! We each had Royal Champagne flights with the rosé add-on (which feels like a great value, especially during happy hour) and each found different favorites in the flight. For snacks, we shared the Imperial Golden Osetra caviar which is served with delicious fried potato cakes and crème fraiche, popcorn, deviled tea eggs, and burrata. We were so pleased with all of these and I'd get all of them again. We were having so much fun chatting and snacking, we ended up staying for additional drinks as well and eventually wrapping up with Sticky Toffee Pudding (warm & delicious-- perfect for fall). The atmosphere was so warm and inviting and service was friendly and attentive; we ended up spending much more time here than intended but never felt rushed.
