Amazing staff!! I popped in randomly on a Saturday afternoon with my pup and everyone from the staff went above and beyond to make sure my sweet pup was taken care of: they gave her a large bowl with ice water, a dedicated fan, all of them came up to say hi and pet her and they checked in frequently- I appreciated the care and attention for her SO much!! They were also very sweet to me- all were super friendly, great service and the space had such a great vibe! The space itself is also really lovely- industrial meets glam, lots of different seating options to choose from, fun music and vibrant energy. I really hesitated in writing this review because it'll let the secret out: Structure Cellars wine is sooooo good. I legit think about visiting every week and have no hesitation about stocking my wine refrigerator with their wines. My first visit to SC this Spring was by chance. A friend found this location in SoDo that houses multiple wineries and a couple of restaurants as well. With no specific winery in mind, we selected SC as our first stop - score! The staff was so friendly and the wines were fantastic. I bought several bottles on the spot and started thinking about joining the wine club. Over the summer I had the pleasure of tasting wines during their annual release event. While noshing on the provided snacks I connected with other wine-lovers and came to realize why Structure Cellars is so popular. So yeah, I joined the wine club and purchased a mixed case of vino with great joy. I'll be heading back soon and will be bringing my out-of-town guests here at every opportunity! read more

Had an awesome evening at Structure Cellars. We arrived for a tasting and started in the front room. We tasted four foundation wines, their white label higher end wines. We actually loved all of them and couldn't decide which one to buy at the end ($10 tasting fee is waived with a purchase). All of their reds are very rich but still silky almost, very delightful. As we were leaving, we mentioned that we live nearby and plan to come back again. The owners encouraged us to head to the back room which they said had a very different vibe. They play 90s R&B softly in the back storage room, it's got a few couches and table, and another tasting room. This is where the barrels are as well! We were just going to poke our heads in since they were closing soon and we were invited to sit for another tasting of their blue label wines. We were excited to stay for a bit, and ended up staying for another hour as we tasted the 6 Blue labels. They were all great, again! We each bought another bottle on our way out. This is a great, undiscovered, wine tasting room in SODO. It's probably my favorite spot in Seattle now! The staff was super friendly, answered questions and chatted here and there. We saw an employee sampling their potential rose for next year, he told us all about what he was doing and looking for in the barrel. They also have GREAT descriptions of the wine. They're super hilarious and useful, but they know their stuff if you have a more scientific question. They also allow dogs which is so awesome. We plan to bring snacks next time because we definitely needed some cheese after tasting all 10 of the wines. They also have a wine club which seems like a great program. I'll definitely be back to check that out as well. For our tasting we had reds only, Cabs, Syrahs, Cab Franc, Malbec off the top of my head. They serve tastings, flights, and wine by the glass. We're a constant going to Schooner Exact just next door and ended up going to Structure Cellars, about 50 feet away and was blown away. Nice open atmosphere, great drinkable wine; all the ones we tasted where solid and a great value. Brian was a great and entertaining host, he comes to your table and get 6 pours for $15 that is just about right amount of wine to taste. This is great place if you like Cabernet. While visiting Seattle from Florida I found mention of Sodo urbanworks. Upon arrival only a few tasting rooms were open. My large group (+8) arrived close to closing time. We encountered Logan from Structure Winery and it was the best introduction to Seattle Urban Wine we could ask for. He was very knowledgeable answered all of our questions and stayed open longer to accommodate our large group. To add to this review their wine is delicious! You will NOT be disappointed. This winery is located in a corner on a block next to a bunch of other wineries. With the most yelp reviews, we decided to walk in. The host was very welcoming and he said we could sit anywhere and they will come to us with a glass and pours of wine. I am not sure how much the sample flight cost as we ended up buying two bottles of wine so our flight cost was waived, I believe (according to the other yelp reviews). I am not much of a red wine drinker, but I really enjoyed the wines here. I end up getting the bartizan bottle of red wine. I liked how the wine isn't too bold as I am usually a white wine drinker. The BF got the foundation malbec red wine and is excited to try it with a meat dish! The hosts did a great job looking out to see if the wine glass was empty and provided us with a new red wine sample pour right away. They were also very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine. read more

I'm not really understanding the 5 star reviews here as my experience with my gals fell extremely short. Like another reviewer mentioned, we had one guy serve us who poured our wines without saying a word. Poured and left. We had to try to figure out what we were drinking and he clearly did not want to be there. At one point, he was ready to pour us our next tasting and my friend hadn't finished her wine yet. He didn't even ask her to finish the wine, but he tapped the wine bottle down on the table rushing her. He was so rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone. Not a fan of this tasting room in SODO. Nor were the 2 people who were with me the first time I visited, and the other two who joined me the second time. First time we stopped by the tastings were poured and the guy who poured them did not say one word about what we were drinking. I actually had to ask him several times what it was that we were tasting! Decided to give it a try again a few weeks ago because the 2 people I was with wanted to give it a try. Same guy served us, same lack of interest in making sales/talking about the wines, getting us excited about their wines. I can't remember the last time I've seen a wine business show such a lack of interest in sharing information with clients. We're not high-maintenance at all, but do expect to hear a little about the wines, the vineyard, and/or terrior, aging, or anything else that makes a wine unique. Their whites are served far too cold, at refridgerator temperature. I'm no novice to wine/wine tasting and to my recollection have never had a white served so cold that you can barely even taste it, let alone enjoy any nuances of the wine. Compared to the other tasting rooms in Urbanworks, Structure is party-central for lack of a better word. Feels like an ordinary bar, not a vineyard's tasting room. I have to admit to being shocked at the positive reviews of this place. Compared to the other tasting rooms in this complex, Structure is bottom of our list. I'm heading to Urbanworks again this afternoon with a group of 6. We'll be visiting Latta, Patterson, and perhaps Sleight of Hand for a much better wine tasting experience. read more

Came here for a tasting event with a friend who is a member. I learned about the history of Structure wines and their brand, and some of the wines. Brian and Brandee were phenomenal and I easily added bottles to my friend's case order. We left the event and had a glass in the front tasting room. Logan recommended a glass based on what we liked from the event. When we asked questions about the wine, he was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what Structure offers. Went and had the worst wine tasting experience of my life. I used to work in the industry. I tried to take my parents here and the guy at the desk was incredibly rude. If you want to stand and wait 10 minutes while a man looks and his tablet and ignores you when you haven't been greeted, and pours wine into your glass while it's still full with another wine, this is the place for you. Awful service. I went there with the intention of buying bottles, but decided to pay the tasting fee instead rather than support this winery with my purchase. Awful. read more

I am so glad to have found this winery! A friend suggested that we go, as there are several other wineries in the area. We started here due to their hours and loved it so much that we didn't even have time to check out the other wineries. We began our tasting in their front tasting room, which features their higher end White-Label wines. One of the owners poured our tastings, and I enjoyed getting to learn more about their wines and winery from her. She suggested that we check out the back tasting room, as it featured more wine and 90's hip hop. Sold. We make it back there, and despite only having a few minutes until their posted closing time, the other owner not only asked us if we wanted a tasting, but also asked how many wines we would like to try. After drinking several generous pours of the Blue Label (every day) wines, I fell in love with the Merlot, which is very accurately described as liquid silk. I ended up buying two bottles of wine here - the White-Label Cabernet Sauvignon and the Blue-Label Merlot. I'm glad that this is just south of downtown, and easy to get to, as I'll definitely be coming back again. read more

Popped in here with a friend as a little farewell for my leaving the area. We had just left another tasting room right there in the same vicinity and really just wanted to keep chatting and reminiscing before we had to say goodbye. We had gotten great wines from the other tasting and I don't think either of us really cared how good the next place was. Structure completely blew our minds. First of all their flight is something like 8 or 9 wines (WOW, ALREADY AMAZING) and they give you a little spiel about each wine as they pour them. Not just the typical... here are the grape varieties and this is the AVA blah blah. They are way more personable than that and tell you which of the couple made which wines, which are their favorites, I even think we heard how a couple wines got their quirky names. Needless to say the wines were so great, there were a couple times where I thought I'd found a favorite and the next one blew me away even more. You almost can't go wrong with any bottle of Structure Wines. Bottom Line is these two are just some really great people, making really delicious wines who love what they do and completely completely deserve your business! read more

Stopped in one weekend and left a club member! Gem of a winery in Sodo! They do a pretty long tasting, so give yourself some time here. Brian and Brandee are fantastic hosts - so fun, warm and generous! Their passion for wine and entertaining is so clear and they really make you feel at home (you can even get a little puppy time with Valentine and Nubbin!). Their wines are all very quaffable at good price points. The emphasis is on reds and they are always trying something new. They also really take care of their club members and host several fantastic events throughout the year. We are big fans now and are excited to see how the winery grows over time. We are members of a few clubs in Woodinville (and we love them), but it's so much easier to get to the events here in town!
