What a great find! I am shocked I haven't heard of this cute coffee spot before now. We came in here the other day. The location and building are very unassuming but fear not -- upon entering the coffee shop, you are transported into a beautiful area that gives speak easy vibes. The shop is a little small but has a decent amount of seating available. I noticed that there was seating available for children with a Lego table with plenty of legos! Such a great idea and I understand more where their name originates from. The menu here is vast -- I enjoyed a Chocolate Pistachio and my partner ordered the Fire and Ice. Both drinks were absolutely beautiful and worthy of photos! The pistachio drink was well-balanced and not too sweet. The Fire and Ice was a bit too creamy for my partner but I enjoyed it -- it was also fun to see the drink get infused with the smokiness. My partner also ordered a bourbon infused black coffee -- this was smooth and tasted amazing! Service was great. This place was super busy when we came in and they were still able to get to us quickly. I will absolutely be back -- this is a great place to come to as a coffee lover but also if you have children. What can I say? This place is amazing. Great food and excellent creative craft coffee. Service was outstanding. The atmosphere and decor was just icing on the cake. I drove 35 mins to attend this Yelp experience and it was worth it! I personally tried a drink I would never order normally--it was the most expensive on the menu (20.00) and it had notes of wine...like wine and coffee?!? but guys.... It was surprisingly AMAZING. I was blown away at how balanced this coffee drink was. The drink I ordered was the Cabernet Latte--the wine taste is subtle and plays off the honey foam. It is worth the price and I would order it again. My boyfriend ordered the Fire & Ice Kentucky Forward. They serve it to you and smoke it at your table. The presentation was fun and the smoked oak definitely enhances this coffee drink! We both were in love with our coffee choices! We both ordered breakfast and chose the Morning Glory. It was delicious. Our only complaint was it was hard to eat as the toppings were all crumbly on top of a slice of toasted rye bread. So it is a bit messy and there isn't an elegant way to cut this without dropping shredded cheese and bacon bits. Overall--highly recommend checking this place out. We will most certainly be back and make the drive. We are already planning on taking our nephews. Pro tip: Get there early and check the menu before you come!!! We got there at 7:59 and there was already a line waiting. When we left there was a line outside waiting. Once inside it's first come first serve for seating and although they have additional seating outside--you will need to order. So have a plan--also if you're curious on ordering other options best to do it when you make it to the counter. My only regret was trying more items that I stupidly assumed I could just get up and order later....nope...not with a line wrapped outside. read more

What an amazing coffee shop! This place is pretty cozy on the inside but they do have a patio for outdoor seating. Perfect place to study or work from home but keep in mind, it gets cold and it can be loud! I got the build your own Lego drink that had espresso base and milk so a latte but it was blue! How cute. Unique coffee spot you need to try! 5 Star - The Blueberry Rose Matcha was very light, not too sweet, easy to drink and refreshing! The Purple Bee was also amazing! The home made honey lavender shined but did not over power the drink. The flavors were subtle but very present! The strawberry danish was fantastic. The bread was light and flaky. The strawberries were delicious, sweet with a little bit of tartness. 3 Star - the Honey Sriracha BBQ Chicken was a little disappointing. There was simply too much sauce. We could not taste any garlic and it all just ended up being one note. I was very excited for The Bacon and Blue Scotch Whiskey Figs, but they were just all too sweet. The menu showed it was stuffed with Blue Cheese, but we could not taste any, if there was some, it was not enough to punch through the sweetness. The blue cheese or goat cheese would have been perfect and balanced out the sweetness. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly and professional. They had a little fun Lego area for you to build/play with Legos. The drinks were amazing, a must try. Cool hidden gem in downtown phoenix. Parking is a little confusing at it shares a lot with a wood distributing company. Ambiance inside was great, not the biggest place but definitely enough room to sit down and enjoy your food/drink if you wanted to. I'm usually an iced vanilla latte kind of gal but decided to mix things up and get one of their specialty drinks, the Abuelita Coco. They warned me it had some spice to it but I would compare it to a spiced holiday drink. Very tasty! I also got a strawberry & chocolate pastry that was delicious. Service was okay. We were there on a Monday around 10am and it took over 15 minutes to get to the register to order. This would be my only complaint, not sure if they could add another register to speed up the process but definitely not a place you can stop by for a quick coffee. read more

The inside is small but it's beautifully decorated. They have some board games too. We ordered from the Star Wars menu and everything was delicious. I saw on their IG they'd be doing a Magical World of Coffee (Harry Potter) theme from now to Christmas Eve. I love their creativity and attention to detail with the decor for each theme. What really got me was The Sorted Hat refresher drink - you get to pull a Glitter Bomb packet out of a sorting hat. Then drop the cloud candy into your drink and watch it change color! The color determines which Hogwarts house you've been sorted in. I've only ever wanted Gryffindor, so I was excited to see it change to red! My friend got blue for Ravenclaw, and a lady sitting next to us got green for Slytherin. I think Hufflepuff is yellow. I also tried the Goblin Matcha - mint, lemon, lime, cane sugar, and tonic water. It was served in a martini glass and topped with a "Buzz Button". There is a warning label on the menu, so I asked the barista. He said it's garnished with an edible flower that will create a tingly and almost numbing feeling on your tongue, but it's completely safe. I bit half of it and immediately tasted bitterness. I don't mind a bitter taste, but this was so pungent and weird. Took a few minutes to get past that. My friend also got The Goblet - house made bacon syrup, maple, espresso, and milk. It was served in a huge goblet and garnished with a small piece of bacon. She really enjoyed it, but could not finish it in one sitting and had to get a to-go cup. Aside from the awesome and creative drinks, we love the buttermilk waffles (gluten-free) and barrel aged bourbon maple syrup. They need to bottle up that syrup and sell it because we would totally buy it! I usually can't make it here on a weekday, and they're only open on Saturdays on weekends. Saturdays are so busy - we got there around 9:00, the parking lot was full, and a guy was out there directing cars on where to go for parking. I think it was the owner. So we parked along Tonto Street just south of it. We waited in line for half an hour, but then our drinks and waffles came out pretty quickly, in less than 10 minutes. When we left, the line was even longer outside. But don't let that deter you from checking out this local gem! read more

We love this place and appreciate it everything in it from the staff, the recipes for the drinks, the food, the owner, the ambiance, and the themes. We have been going here since they first opened. This review is based on our 11/28/25 visit (day after thanksgiving). Harry Potter theme! I love it. The inside is also decorated accordingly. The animated paintings/art were really cool. It wasn't too full (we went on a Lego day on a Saturday before and that was really full). It was nice because it was calm and chill. The owner came out and talked to several of us and explained his drinks and his background. Very nice guy. Very creative too! I love that he also appreciates his staff and customers. Staff is always so professional, kind and helpful. We only had drinks this round. We've had the food before and it's tasty. I did a get a sample in the cutest small mug of butter beer (salted caramel cream soda with vanilla cold foam). It was tasty. I started off with the butter brew ( salted caramel cream soda with nitro cold brew). I liked it for what it was. If you are black coffee drinker or plain nitro drinker this is not the drink for you. It was smooth and tasty. The flavors were nailed and reminded me of a caffeinated version of a butter beer. Next up my boyfriend had, the goblet (house made bacon syrup, maple, espresso and oat milk). He liked but mentioned for the proportion could use more flavor. Cool presentation. Now the showstopper and gold winner for the day was the last drink I had, the Goblin Matcha ( meddled mint, lime, lemon, cane sugar and I subbed sparkling water -usually comes with tonic water). I'm a big sparkling matcha or espresso sparkling drinker. I drink it everywhere and this was a new take on it that I haven't experienced with the buzz button. I drank the matcha drink without the buzz button and it was fair and then I ate the edible flower (buzz button) and re-tasted the matcha and WOAH! Talk about a whole different drink. Did I mention I've never had a buzz button? I didn't know what to expect lol my mouth was tingling and somewhat numb. I felt like I kind of had gone to the dentist . Apparently this buzz button gives you an enhanced sense of taste like a super taster. Next thing I know this turned into a mocktail mojito very powerful in mint and lemon and lime flavors. I loved the experience! It was fun and definitely would recommend it. It's safe unless you are allergic to daisies. It opened a new world of flavors for me. It is temporary and the sensation is over in 5-15 minutes. Overall we love this place. The creativity and ambiance is always so cool. It's a great place to visit. Especially if you are visiting and trying to find great coffee spots. This is one to check out. They have plenty to choose from. If you live locally it's also a great spot to keep coming back for different seasonal drinks. I definitely recommend! We will definitely keep making trips back. read more

They're creative to a fault, like a band that got famous for one hit and now refuses to play it. My drink came smoked like a cocktail, which sounded cool until I realized I was basically sipping a campfire. My fiancé ordered a simple latte, and even that somehow missed the point. When you strip away the theatrics, the actual coffee flavor just isn't there. Service Friendly enough, but slow. You stand around awkwardly in a packed little space waiting for a drink that took longer than it should have to disappoint you. Nobody seemed unkind, just a bit overrun and overly focused on presentation instead of pace. Ambience Visually, this place nails it. The Lego theme is clever, playful, and the ceiling design feels like an airport lounge for people who have their life together. It's tight on space, but undeniably charming. You can tell someone cared about the look. They just forgot to make sure the coffee lived up to the room. Overall A creative idea that overreached. Great design, weak execution. This spot might wow you on Instagram, but if you actually care about how your coffee tastes, it's more style than substance. I went in a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy but the shop itself has a pretty small indoor space. I got the Abuelita Coco and the coffee was spicy. I was not expecting that at all. I may need to try this again but I wasn't a fan of the latte I got, parking, of the space available to sit inside! Accio Coffee! The shop is located in south Phoenix onsite of a lumber yard. This was a brilliant idea by the owner of Porter Barn Wood and Porter Iron Works to draw people in with a coffee shop. Plus, they get to show off their work with the cool wood ceilings and the iron fencing on the patio. The theme changes every couple of months, with past themes including Star Wars and Lego. And they go all out! The decor and the menu has a complete overhaul letting you be fully immersed in the themeing. The photos came to life, candles were floating, the movie was playing, and we even spotted platform 9 3/4. We added to the fun by wearing costume pieces and carrying wands. It brought us great joy to start our day so magical. I was sorted into Hufflepuff after mixing my drink (The Sorted Hat) with a mystery glitter cotton candy. The Herbologist drink was like an orangcicle with added spices. The champagne deviled eggs were delicious and the donut stack was a little added sugary fun for breakfast. We didn't use the Lumos spell as we really enjoyed the vibes of the darker interior lighting. Hurry, and apparate to Coffee Builders before the Wizarding world is gone! read more

The Coffee Builders is located on an unassuming street in an unassuming building near the airport. I had a long drive to Tucson and stopped here for some caffeine. When I turned in, I thought I was in the wrong place and that this shop was closed... possibly forever. Oh I was so wrong! I walked in and seriously I feel like I was transported somewhere else. The aesthetics and the shop design were very different and cozy. Their coffee menu is a lot to take in and I asked a lot of questions! I feel bad as I didn't realize there were a few folks behind me. However, how can you not get excited and ask questions about homemade syrups and a menu designed around Star Wars? They also have a brunch menu also. I ordered the housemate lavender syrup and honey latte and the arugula salad with salmon. The latte was very light and refreshing and kept me energize during my drive. The salad was fresh and delicious. Wonderful experience and I have to go back to try all the other menu times. Casual. Private and easy parking lot. We waited in line for a few minutes and we were helped by the most friendly staff when it was our turn to order. We sat outside and it was very pleasant on the patio. We visited The Coffee Builders right after landing at PHX, in desperate need of food and caffeine. They were located conveniently close to the airport and the space was so cute. The interior had an almost speakeasy-like vibe, with plush seating, a fake-plant wall, and lots of wood. For drinks, my friend and I both chose The Slopes, which was pretty much my ideal coffee beverage. The presentation was beautiful - light blue coloring, three massive blueberries on a fancy toothpick, and a pansy flower on top. It also tasted amazing and I loved that the blueberry syrup was house-made. For food, I ordered the Prime, Pimento, & Blue Panini, which was also awesome. The sourdough was perfectly warm, the flavors worked well together, and the sandwich was pretty filling. My friend also loved her Champagne Cheese Panini. Omg!!! We were on our last day of vacation from Vegas, in town for the Innings Festival and Spring Training Baseball. I googled "cute coffee spots near me," and this had amazing ratings. Situated next to Porter Barn Wood (Same Owner) this is an adorable little hub of community. My húsband got an Orange Blossom Latte and I had to try the "Fire and Ice Kentucky Bourbon" Latte. Amazing presentation by Oliver who obviously takes pride in his work. He smoked my coffee! And sweet Mara came up and let us know that the themes change here! Right now it "Princess Bride," and she told me that next is STAR WARS! Wow! We've been contemplating if we'd love here and this spot makes me smile even more! A must visit - such a cool coffee shop!! The outside of the building is so deceiving, I was pleasantly surprised when I walked inside. The decor is phenomenal; straight out of a top interior design magazine. The velvet, wood and greenery combo is perfect. I want their custom ceiling in my house! The coffee shop is bite-sized, but has a good bit of seating. It's remote work friendly with outlets everywhere. The menu did not disappoint. Loads of fun coffee drinks with unique flavors -- pistachio, bourbon, lavender, ube, just to name a few. The best part is that the drinks are gorgeous. Their presentation is amazing. This place is a gem! We stopped in after flying into Phoenix airport and picking up our rental car, and we were thrilled to find this place only like 7 minutes away, before driving up to Sedona. It has a decent size parking lot in an interesting industrial spot where there's wood and a building company. The café itself is very cool and cute. It has a large plant wall with greenery and it's giving wood chalet or cabin vibes inside. Plenty of tables and a big round booth to sit at. There are also tables for outdoor seating. We ordered: 1. Dirty chai (with added shot of espresso) with oat milk - Delicious! 5-stars! 2. Truffle latte (off the "luxury" section of the drink menu). It has dark chocolate and black summer truffles (the mushroom). Incredibly delicious, and kind of savory. For people who love truffles, I highly recommend this one! Very unique. 5-stars 3. Nitro cold brew (Black 16-oz). Smooth and delicious. 4. Deviled eggs with caviar. (We were feeling luxurious.) YUM! You can also order them without caviar or with bacon. 5. Blue crab and caviar bröd or börd. (Open-face dense toast like they serve in Denmark). It also had micro greens and little cherry tomatoes. It was so so delicious! 5-stars!
